My baby girl Millie(corgi) went in to get a basic haircut and bath, I had jade and she was absolutely amazing! She did great on her haircut and she put bows in her hair which really made her look great! Above and beyond in my opinion. she takes really good care of your fur baby! 10/10 recommend jade

I enjoy bringing my toddler and mini aussie in. It's like a little field trip for us. Employees are friendly. The facility is clean. Aisles clutter-free. We spend about 45 mins walking around looking at the fish, kitties, and the different types of dogs in the daycare. They always have the dog food we need.

This may be a long post, but it’s so important.On Tuesday Feb. 20 we took our recently adopted dog to Petsmart on Muldoon for a bath, groom, haircut, and de-matting. Before her appointment we went to them and met with the groomer we booked so she could look over the matting since it was pretty severe on her hind legs and let us know if it was something she could handle- if not we were taking her back to the vet so they could do it but we were advised to let them proceed since the groomer said it was something she could handle. I dropped her off at 4:00pm after giving her some anxiety meds and nerve blockers the vet prescribed to keep our girl calm since she’s older thinking she was in good hands. At 4:57pm I got a call from Petsmart saying they were taking our dog to the emergency vet because they found an old wound under a matte that was actively bleeding. I loaded the baby, hopped in the car, called my husband, and drove to the vet they told me they were going to on the phone. Somehow I got there before the petsmart manager and I’m glad I did. Our dog is on the older side- 12 -but is able to get out of my truck with no assistance. When the manager got to the vet, I watched him pull my dog out by the leash so quickly that she literally fell out of the car onto the asphalt and had to take some time before getting back up. We got checked in at the emergency vet, he told the receptionist what happened, and we got taken back for our girl to get looked at. I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt to petsmart because we didn’t know what was under her matting and it was definitely a possibility that there could be old wounds but I got a really weird feeling when the manager made a point to ask before we got taken back who would be covering the bill before he left. I know it’s standard procedure but there was something about the way he spoke about it that gave me a feeling in my gut that something happened. However, I still wanted to give the benefit of the doubt and wait to see what the vet said so I told him it would depend on what the vet finds and I’d give him a call once we have more information to which he agreed and went on his way. After getting looked at by the vet, it was determined the wound Petsmart “found” was fresh and showed no signs of healing. 3 staples later we were on our way home with our girl and had to follow up with our vet the next day. The emergency vet bill was covered by Petsmart without any pushback.While at the vet Wednesday Feb. 21, I found out there was another dog on their way to be seen from the same Petsmart because they had also been hurt while at the groomers. What that story is, I don’t know but I hope that dog is okay. Our dog is now on the mend but we have a lot of work to do and she’s on bed rest except bathroom breaks for the next two weeks.I’ll praise the Petsmart management in how they handled our situation- they covered the bill from the Emergency Vet and our follow up visit with our vet without argument. However, I feel people need to know to be extremely careful and wary of the grooming services at the Muldoon Petsmart and go to other groomers. Our vet had to fully shave her to ensure there weren’t other injuries hiding and to give her a fresh start so we could put in the daily work to get her comfortable around grooming instruments again. Our entire situation could have been avoided but the groomer decided to tell us she could handle something she couldn’t and our dog suffered the consequences.PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don’t make the same mistake I did and go somewhere else if your dog needs a groom.

We got in touch with Aladka Rescue Kittens through good. They work with the pet smart on Muldoon. We were about to pick out a cat and go to Pet Smart and meet with Barb from the rescue and meet sprinkles (the cat). Barb and the staff at Pet Smart were very nice and helpful. I was a wonderful experience, and we were able to adopt Sprinkles. I highly recommend this Pet Smart and the Alaska Rescue Kittens.

I took my dog here to get groomed. He is a medium sized Aussie. I dropped him off at 11:30 am around 4 I came in to ask if he was going to be ready soon and they told me he just had a bath and it was going to be another three hours. I said that was ridiculous and I was told it was because he was being difficult. I then asked for my dog back Immediately if he’s so stressed out and they then told me he was sleeping. The interaction got even wilder after that but in the end I left with my dog still wet and no hair cut after 6 hours. I did leave with out paying which seemed reasonable since the service I came in for was not done. We will not be coming back here.

They sold us a fish who rapidly showed signs of parasitic infection (flukes). The fish ended up killing off our tank despite appropriate treatment with meds. It's doubtful they are ignorant of the fact they are selling animals with contagious diseases.

It's ok and conveniently located outside JBER but prices are high and staffing is insufficient. If you want to purchase fresh water fish for your aquarium be prepared to wait, sometimes a long time. The staff are not well attending this area of floor sales.

This is the first time I schedule with PetSmart for grooming services and it will be the last. Our dog has been to 2 different groomers and we have never had issues with services not being able to be completed due to his behavior. He is always well behaved and let’s whoever grooming him get the job done. He is always praised because of how well he behaves whether being groomed or not. Well today they could not do a nail grind or trim because he did not like the “vibration” which is hard to believe. Then the groomer proceeded to try and tell me my dog needed more training when he is the most well behaved and friendliest pup ever. Our dog’s appointment was for 4pm and they closed at 7pm and he’s a golden retriever which takes quite a bit of time to groom properly so to me they just wanted to hurry up and leave. I only scheduled here because our pup needed a bath last minute, but definitely the last time. I love shopping here and the staff at the registers and the people that have helped in the fish area are great, but can care less for the grooming department.

The employees are always friendly and helpful. We can always find the dog food and cat food we are looking for. It's a great place to walk the dog around on cold winter nights or rainy days.

I brought our 8 year old St Bernard in for a scheduled grooming appointment the other day. This was the first (and last) time trying their grooming services. I was refused service because my dog has a genetic condition (he was born with it) that makes the tip end of his nose look a little strange but never problematic in the slightest.I can understand that anyone has the right to refuse service, but staff refused to listen to anything I said. Most importantly, I was made to feel like a bad "pet parent". Even going so far as to bring in several staff from the store to gawk at his nose and generally make me feel really uncomfortable. I left feeling embarrassed and insulted. Never ever going back there again.

I had asked for the round cut and when I picked up Noon he had been given the bear cut. This wasn’t what upset me the most, his face wasn’t cut evenly and he has many areas that patches of long fur remain. I will never be returning to this specific location for grooming. I love pet smarts grooming but this specific location is lacking

Quite possibly the worst grooming I’ve ever seen. We dropped him off for a “brush and bath” which is supposed to include a nail trim, scissoring of feet and pad shaving, none of which happened. He looks the exact same as when we dropped him off. Basically paid them $52 to wet and dry our dog with a bad smelling shampoo.

Been trying to control an issue with my fish tank for the last week and these people are amazing. Helped me get from yuck tank to clear with a perfect testing. I'm no fish tank expert but these people have some experts that helped me get my tank back to beautiful. They help with our hamster and cats as well as issues come up over the years. Always knowledgeable staff of great people who share the love of animals we do. They do free tank water testing and can help with issues that arise while having your fish. Thank you petsmart!! ❤️

They have really great sales all the time. The rewards program is great. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. Today my mom came with me to get a fancy mouse as a friend for her baby mouse at home. Shes never been to Pet smaty and I tokd her ahe had to come here. She and I spent over an hour looking at the mice, hamster, snakes, fish and all the dogs that were brought in by owners. We got a sweet fancy mouse and new collar for our puppy. I wish they had a petsmart in Wasilla. The lines are longer then normal lines but everyone is usually so friendly that theres arent the grumpy customers. They also have a pet hotel and other services but I havent used them yet

I arrived right as the store was closing and I was told not to come in because they were closing. This was before the doors were actually locked (the automatic doors would still open). I asked politely to come in to buy one bag of food. It would have taken 3 minutes tops for me to go in and get out, but no, I wasn't allowed to come in to make a purchase.I hope the three extra minutes of time the one worker saved was worth the thousands of dollars I spend there every year. It's clear that customer service isn't important here.

The GROOMING DEPT in All PETSMART STORES is disgusting staff. They mistreat dogs from reading all grooming reviews. They allow these miserable groomers to treat these dogs horrible.Not to mention they up the charges with lies.!!! It's a scam, I got ripped off twice. Don't trust these unprofessional people to touch your beautiful dogs.They CANT even smile or be polite to anyone.!!!They should close the grooming department.Refunding people is NOT fixing the problem!8 friends have stop going to PETSMART GROOMING. !!And word of mouth is telling the truth too. Totally disgraceful how they keep mistreating the CUSTOMERS & sweet dogs they obviously can't groom properly!!

It is seriously disgraceful how rude & u professional these PETSMART GROOMING EMPLOYEES treat clients!. The never greet you friendly when you walk in! They NEVER smile at anyone. They speak to all clients with a disgusting attitude. How so horrible these stores allow this behavior each store same problem. Even the managers are rude too. I would never recommend these unfit employees to touch my dog. GOD only knows what they do to these beautiful dogs in the back. They all act like the hate the job!! Daycare doesn't allow my dog to be with other dogs, so it's essentially just day time boarding. There's nothing wrong with my dog; he's very well socialized and well mannered. He just isn't neutered yet due to health reason. They didn't tell me that for the entire day (8-12 hrs) he only gets out of the kennel for 30min total. No wonder he is SO stressed and wired when I pick him up! Poor guy is stuck in a box ALL day. They shouldn't call it day care since that implies fun and interaction. It's just boarding where the dog sits in a kennel ALL DAY alone and cramped.

Good location. Not much variety. Just checked the boarding rate for an aggressive dog (private play time) and it cost $65 per night.
