I really love Alexis as my Dog Groomer she is the best, she is really patience with my dog and she really did a great on haircut she did what exactly I showed her what I wanted for my dog. I will definitely get her again for my dog next groom.

My dog is a king cavalier he is supposed to have long somewhat curly ears. He is multi colored. I admit he had tangled ears but the groomer shaved his ears inside and out. I don't believe she realizes how long this is going to take to grow out so he can look like his breed again. I am very hurt and disappointed

The most incompetent staffing I have ever encountered. I had scheduled a grooming appointment a couple weeks ago and was denied due to the employee being unable to determine when my dogs vaccine was due. So after reading over the paperwork myself I determined that it was indeed correct but it was too late at that point and had to reschedule. Two weeks later encounter a different employee and nearly encountered the same confusion with them as well. I had to point and explain line for line and read the dates to the employee before they understood. I was told at 0930 that he was going to be done by 1130 or 12 and that we would be called. I was never called and when I arrived at 12 it appeared he had been done a while. Being done is an understatement, the cut was patchy and entire sections were simply not touched. My dog had blood shot eyes from what I can only assume was soap and was still covered in dry loose hair.on a completely separate note, the entire shop was covered in fur and the floor with obvious poop stains. We dropped my boy off at 0930 and by 12 there was at least 5 different types of fur on the bench that he was groomed on. I am nothing close to a vet but not knowing what might be in my dog's fur or another makes me really uncomfortable with how unsanitary that might be for other animals. A 5 star rating is far from what this place deserves, if you love your animal/s this is not the place for any service. I was shocked to see the rating so high to be completely honest. Hope this helps anyone looking to use this service for their pets. Simply just don't .

Every time Sydney comes in for her day at the groomer's, she looks fantastic afterwards. The entire staff is welcoming and Alexis always does a fantastic job. She gives attention to detail and also asks what we want to have done each and every visit. We live on the south side of Anchorage, but are more than happy to drive all the way across town for the service Alexis provides time and time again. Thank you!

I can always rely on Petco for a great variety of choices to meet my pet's needs and wants! The crew are very helpful. They work with local animal rescues and hold adoption clinics, and 5 years ago I got my fur baby ay one!

I've brought my pup here a few times and it was okay. Today, I scheduled an appointment for a nail trimming at this location. Upon arrival, the groomer put the "slip loop" leash on.The groomer was immediately impatient with my dog.My dog can get a little sketched out by people who are trying to lead her. By sketched out, I mean she will just kind of sit and be a little stubborn. Instead of sweet talking my dog, which would have worked, the groomer just started yanking on the lead and trying to drag a 73 pound dog across the floor. She kept attempting this and told me "if she can't move my dog, they will not be able to perform the nail trim". Duh. I was pretty baffled that she just yanked on the lead the way she did and sat there thinking to myself "there is no way she was trained by her employer to lead a dog like this and she is going to continue to try again". After her second attempt of trying to drag my pup across the floor, I got my dog out of there. I complained to both groomers and the manager.If this is how petco trains their groomers to lead a dog, it is incredibly incorrect. I would recommend somewhere rlse that will make you and your dog feel more comfortable and the groomers are more gentle.

The grooming department answered the phone and said they could squeeze in my two pups for a nail trim. They recognized my dogs by name when we entered. We always feel welcome at Petco and appreciate the gentle care they give our dogs.

My dog came home with a ringworm. We only have one dog. She is not around other dogs and we avoid dog parks. Nothing has changed or compromised our dog until we mistakenly permitted our dog to be groomed by petco. A mistake that will not be recurrent. Also, it took longer than what was mentioned when I dropped my dog off. When I say longer I mean like four hours.
