The store smelled very strange in a mildew type way that wasn't animal. The selection is good with very friendly staff to help you and nice check out employees. Food prices for pets are competitive with grocery stores these days, so the extra trip is worth it.

Store employees were Excellent! I just adopted a fur baby and brought her to the store to socialize as well as get toys and food for her. Multiple employees came to introduce themselves and offer assistance as well as compliment my new fur baby. Great job making me feel comfortable and welcomed

I had a lot of fun selecting stuff for my new chameleon. I found vines, greenery, feeding dish, cage, water dripper. Pets aren't cheap, so don't be cheap with them. I found out that if you keep your ml worms in the fridge, they stay alive and last a lot longer. One person had a 500 count in there fridge for a month and they were all still alive. Also don't feed you pet crickets that are bigger then there head. I know the cage looks empty, but I'm getting more stuff from it. It takes time sometimes. So go enjoy yourself. Also, don't be afraid to pick the brains of the knowledge staff.

I was very pleased with the staff I spoke to on the phone before coming to the Mountainview store. The person I spoke to was very friendly and attentive and informative. After I went to the store, I was greeted by the friendly staff. I felt very comfortable going to the store. I was well taken care of. Thank you!

Worst pet store ever. There were 4 Guinea pigs in a cage WAY too small for them. This store won’t even give their Guinea pigs hay, the pigs were sorting through bedding for A PIECE of hay. Not to mention there’s only 1 water bottle for 4 Guinea pigs. I hope this store hires some responsible employees who can spare 5 minutes to feed their Guinea pigs.

It was ok, I guess they may have been short staffed because 2 out of 3 days in a row... there were only 2 employees. 1 at the register and on and off the floor. Thanks Tyler and Abby?!The two out on the floor on my 3rd visit were able to help me with all my pet needs. 😀Thank you you guys.

This location is great and convenient the employees are always super nice and helpful as well as friendly I signed up for their monthly membership and they do not lie it pays for it’s self everytime I get to the counter my balance always ends up being under $10 once I walked out only paying $1 for a boat load of things and making returns are always super easy. The team is doing great and it’s always a pleasure shopping here!

Every time I have to make a stop at the craft store Michael’s, I have to have to go into the Petco. I am a huge animal lover I buy my dogs so many treats and toys weekly. So it shouldn’t be any surprise that I love Petco I feel like it offers so many more services then its competitors. They have classes open to the public for Animal training of all sorts. They got animal feed cages close leashes toys if you think your animal would love it it’s probably at the store. I always get the latest Animal treat samples for my dogs now I will say that some of them are pretty healthy as healthy alternatives for dogs so might be too picky dogs won’t need it but I have a pitbull that’s a garbage disposer, & He’s happy to take them all.

I had a lot of trouble doing an online order, because I couldn't get into my account. Someone from the main community team had to place the order for me. Once I got to the store, everyone was really friendly, helpful, and understanding. The staff assisted me in opening a new account.

Rachel R did an amazing job grooming my rough collie Everest. I was so nervous I had been brushing & giving her baths by myself but I knew it was time to get her trimmed up. Brushing her twice a week was not getting all the winter coat out. But when I came to pick her up all my worries subsided. Not only did she look properly trimmed. She was happy & that is what matters to me. Rachel made sure to ask several times if she was trimmed to my liking and she could make changes if I wanted. She however did a fantastic job. & she will deff be the groomer I take Everest to from now on.

no cashiers for checkout. end of aisle signs were removed and never replaced so you can find sh-t so you have to walk up and down every aisle to locate what you are looking for. Unbelievable. I HAVE SENT YOU THIS EXACT SAME FEEDBACK MULTIPLE TIMES, BUT YOU NEVER DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. YOU HAD SIGNS BEFORE, WHY DID YOU TAKE THEM DOWN??????????????????

I recently purchased a very large parrot cage and wasn't sure I would be able to manage it on my own. I arranged for a curbside pickup. There was a very convenient parking space designated near the store's front door and 2 staff members brought the item out and easily placed it into my pickup! The young woman and young man were very friendly and helpful making for an excellent day for me AND a couple little green cheek parakeets! Thank you Petco!!
