They’ve had everything I’ve needed with knowledgeable staff. Sale prices are good and so much selection you can always choose a sale item. Restrooms are well maintained as is the parking lot and store.

Sept 22nd 2023I was the first customer through the door. I found everything I was looking for, but staff is about as happy and cheerful as a bereaved family that just found out they're not in the will. GOD only knows how their mangers treat them. Wish they would cheer up, greet your customers with a smile and nod at the very least.

Terrible customer service. If you’re needing to have a tag removed from something you purchased at self check out, you’ll have to wait until the associates are done with social time to assist you. If you need something that is locked in the case, even if it has the “notify associate button” forget it. You can stand there for well over 15 minutes and you will not be assisted. Again customer service and associates are more concerned with social time and chatting than helping. I’ve gone here on multiple occasions and it’s always the same experience.

I would not give a star if I had a choice I been going to this store about 3 years not one department has been helpful every since they had shots fired and a person was hurt they have been the worst service ever, what tops it off I had my meds transferred thinking they would be good and helpful, NO!!! That is completely unacceptable just disregard with peoples health not taking into consideration a person can end up in a hospital I will never use this service again if they can’t do good on a patient health, I can just imagine how other things are doneAnd they want me to put a photo for something I didn’t get nor good service or in a timely manner, completely ridiculous!!!

Fun fact, if they screw up your online pickup order, you have to call corporate and cannot easily be refunded. I did not receive $34 worth of items I ordered and 2 items were substituted without telling me or changing the prices.I try to be loyal to the Kroger brand because I'm from Cincinnati (where HQ is), but this was egregious. I will be shopping at Carr's from now on because they carry a couple products Fred Meyer never has anyway.

They take way too much of my money. Love how consistent the cashiers are and we have our favorites we always seek out. With supply chain issues they are out of items of late but still our go to shopping center. The specialty cheese section is hands down the best in town and always a treat.

UPDATE 3.12.24: I have come to rely on this pharmacy for vaccines. Excellent and well-trained pharmacists and phamacy technicians inspire confidence in customers.The retail grocery, dairy, bakery, and produce departments, including check-out personnel, reflect well-trained and caring employees, as well as capable management.UPDATE 10.28.23: Good selection of bird food -- just what my chickadees and nuthatches want for this cold weather!UPDATE 4.4.23: The pharmacy has superb staff.I appreciate that this store has well-instituted Covid safety protocols.Good people in the jewelry dept always friendly & attentive. FM stores have a commitment to community service & involvement.

I have started shopping at this Fred's location more regularly now, and not just when I am heading back into town after visiting Potter Marsh, for example. Even though I live in Anchorage's awesome eastside, I take the drive to this store since the Fred's on Muldoon has become increasingly disappointing these past several months. This store on Abbott Road (found easily via Elmore Drive) is well organized, bright and decently stocked. I especially appreciate the fine job done in the produce department and in women's apparel. And get this- I about fell over when an employee came up to me at the self scanners as I was ringing up my good stuff, and asked me if I had found everything alright. I actually stopped for a moment, rather stunned, because there ain't no way anyone would hear such a thing at the Muldoon store. So, I told him- yes! I found everything I was looking for, then added in my two cents sharing what a nice store this is, especially compared to the Muldoon store. Seeing the smile on his face helped to make my visit all the more worthwhile.

Absolutely the Finest Store of its type in Anchorage Alaska. Best staff, many of them have been there for years. Great fishmonger & butcher, wonderful fresh vegetables, bakery is superb. Pharmacy staff are second to none. Delivery is delicious.Update 11.16.2023 Same excellence.1.26.2004I am disabled and need to use an electric shopping cart.I found two.1 was plugged in, the other wasn't.BOTH WERE INOPERABLE.I Plugged them in and I left.👎👀👎

Daniel was super friendly and helpful! He went above and beyond to take care of my husband and me, and problem solved. Employees like this are the reason for store loyalty. Another employee in the back helped us with our kayak too, but I'm afraid I didn't catch his name. But he was also fantastic!

Generally speaking, all the Fred Meyers stores are clean & well stocked. Also, most of the items we shop for can be found here at all the Fred Meyers stores we've been to around South Central Alaska. These items are usually sold at lower prices than the competitors. Fred Meyers is our 1st choice for just about everything!

I have been shopping at this store for 6 months and mostly love it.Today I witnessed people getting food at the deli, then eating it without paying.I mentioned it to the new Store Director who said 'there is nothing I can do about it' Horrible. No wonder prices are going up - she wanted me to say something to them but warned me there would be 'a fight'. Obviously she is not cabable of dealing with theft in the store. What a shame. There is NO security at this store and management looks the other way at shoplifting, apparently.

Around 2020/2021 Fred Meyers decided to re-arrange the entire store and now you cannot find anything! Running in to grab an item now will put you in a maze running around the entire store. I stopped shopping here because of this, nothing makes sense as to why they moved products, the few times i try to run in for a small item i end up searching the entire store.

I am a huge fan of the curbside pick up, Fred Meyer’s Abbott has one of the most seamless curbside pick up systems I have yet to encounter, the person bringing the groceries out was pleasant and professional and very helpful. There were no mistakes made on my order. It was fast and convenient and the parking spaces for curbside have extra room on either side in case you don’t have a back and you wanna put things in and you can have your doors open for easy loading into a backseat area if need be. Overall perfect experience and that pretty much never happens. Great job Fred Meyers Abbott!

Great produce! But just like alot of other stores, they treat customers different based on membership or no membership! Well price wise anyway! Stores need to be more like wallmart!!! If you walk through the doors then you are a member and get the best/lowest price possible

Have one of the worst customer service experience especially in electronic. Came by to buy some trading cards knowing it was limited to 5 per customer and the employee, weren’t genuinely kind explaining how the limitations works as well as gave my wife and I an attitude. These employees needs to be retrain!

The employees are so friendly and courteous. There are always enough cashiers so checkout is quick, even when the store is busy. I've never liked grocery shopping but Fred Meyers customers and customer service are the best and always make you feel special so even I look forward to going.
