Hello. I usually do not visit stores like this because of the low quality of the goods but..... I did this time.The store is located off of Minnesotta drive in the parking lot behind Samis City Diner.The store had some really good deals on:• name brand batteries. $1.80/4pack• kitchen utensils• storage containers• laundry supplies• cleaning supplies• balloons 🎈• party decorations• wedding decor• foil pansYou get the point.They have many items that we may eventually need from daily to occasionally and at reasonably reasonable prices.Save a trip driving there..... I've got ya covered ..LOOK:I have included a bunch of images for you to take a look at the isles so ya can GET A GLIMPSE of what the store carries.I did not photo everything but a vast majority I did.NOTE: I spend a little bit of my time to do this reviews for your convenience.If you find any Value from this review please let Google knowAll ya gotta do is hit that button down below.This helps my Local Google Guide rating and it makes it worth my time.Thanks and.... don't forget to look at my photos.

I came into the store on a Thursday evening back in mid November. I was shopping for balloon bundles, something I had never purchased before. Ku'ulei was working the counter and after explaining to her what was I was wanting and for when (the following Saturday) she explained to me that I can place the order and pick up Saturday morning rather than right then & there and hoping the balloons still have life in them the day I need them. I had no idea this was an option and what a great one it was! I gave Ku'ulei my rather complicated and very specific order, she wrote it all down and handed me over to Annie to cash me out. Annie was friendly, fun, and made great conversation with me at the register. It was also very apparent that both these ladies had a great working relationship with each other and made the best of their time at work. I came in Saturday morning to pick up - both ladies were there again, remembered me, and helped me round up the balloons. Overall I could not have asked for a better experience and for all future balloon needs I will now be shopping here. Thank you Annie & Ku'ulei - get these ladies a raise OR AT LEAST A PIZZA PARTY!

I'm not well versed in dollar stores, however this met my expectations. It has a board range of products. Inventory looked plentiful. I was very pleased to see this store is selling helium filled balloons, singles and bouquets. This helps fill the gap from the closure of Anchorage's largest party store. Store was clean, well organized, and clerks were courteous and efficient.

The only reason why I'm giving this one star because I couldn't give you any I'll be coming over to the store for over 6 years never have I ever been treated the way I have the past two times I try to go in the night staff that's working there a chick with red hair in a older Samoan lady very very rude it disrespectful try to treat me like a and refused to let me buy my product without buying a mask first so I bought the mask and he still refused to sell me my products. And until they are fired never again will I ever come back to that store and I feel if they stay there any longer they already have that you will lose a lot more customers

Mislabels prices and doesn't refund the difference in price after charge. Fraudulent business practices.Edit to reply to owner:Was charged 14.20 total. Ladle was labeled at 2.50 and charged 2.95. Mixing bowl was labeled at 2.75 and was charged 3.50 (bought 2 of these). Upon leaving the store, realized the discrepancy on the receipt (total of 0.45 + 2 x 0.75 = 1.95) and promptly went back into the store to request the refund. Staff refused to refund me actual money (only offered store credit but I have no intention of using it) , quoting the store policy.I believe this is illegal and a no refund policy should not be exempt from a fraudulent/scam labeling.It is fine to have mislabeled prices, employees make mistakes all the time. It is not fine to refuse immediate return or correction. Two dollars is not a lot of money, but the refusal of the staff to be able to accommodate their own mistakes and correct the situation reflects poorly on the business.If you take a look at the Alaska consumer protection act, with which you should be familiar as the owner of a retail establishment you'll see that "deceptive acts or practices in the conduct of trade or commerce are declared to be unlawful." (Sec. 45.50.471 a.). What I experienced today is exactly that, deceptive, and a scam.

I walked in knowing I wanted balloons for my daughter’s 21st birthday, but that was it. I met with Monica and she took all my “I don’t knows and tell me what you think” and created an amazing display. 3 “towers” worth of creation. If could figure out how to post pics, I would. Thank you Monica, my daughter LOVES your creation for her birthday. 💙

I LOVE this store!! They’re balloon arrangements and party supplies are excellent! I don’t go anywhere else now that I’ve found them! I get all of my business supplies here as well which is so convenient! Everyone is always friendly, acknowledge you at the door, and always ask if you need help. They’ve even called the other store for me if I’m looking for something specific!

My wife and I decided To Visit the dollar zone on Minnesota for last minute birthday plates and candles. Let me warn you all that you literally could lose all sense of time in there. We were in there for like an hour. The staff there are so helpful. We are so satisfied with the balloons Monica recommend. She helped picking out things with my wife and my son loved his balloons. PLEASE ASK MONICA if you need ballon! RECOMMEND TO GO HERE

Store owner please look at this. Not sure if Juliane is still an employee here but call the police immediately on this woman for posting about burning your store down. A screenshot is attached. Her Twitter username is public @poncejuliane. And to publicly talk this way about the customers is just very unprofessional and disrespectful. I love this store very much and come here each year to get birthday decorations for my daughters. I’m not sure if the photos are loading but if you have an email I can send a them there.

Coming from Texas and shopping in Dollar General, and The dollar store, this store was a huge disappointment. If you are looking for balloons or party favors you might be in luck but I shop for small items to include in guests baskets and the selection was non-existent. I don't see any reason to go back.

This is definitely NOT like dollar tree or 99 cent store in the lower 48. Everything is NOT a dollar or $.99. It does have everything from party supplies, balloon bouquet you can order in advance, makeup, kitchen, bathroom supplies, cheap toys, candy etc..

Its Monday afternoon. I go in the store no problem walk it and shop for my daughter balloons for her birthday and grated my hair was a mess and i had my hoodie on. It wasnt until i go up to the register to pay. That i was asked to remove my hoodie. I told her no and then i hear maybe the manager yelling from a different room. That i needed to remove my hood for the camera. Okay so i just put my items on the counter and walked out. If this isnt a lawsuit. Waiting to happen then i dont know what is. Thank you and i will never do business here again!

Great place to shop for party supplies and last minute gifts!! Fantastic prices!! I found more things On my list I had no idea they carried!! Staff was also helpful and showed me exactly where to go. Great Alaska Business ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Horrible experience. I was purchasing two bouncing balls that was advertised $1.85. When I was at the register, the price came up as $2.75 each. The cashier saw the price tag and called the manager to price change the product. The manager only changed one price and will not change the second price. Telling me that I now know the current price and will not change the second ball. The manager then walk to the price tag and took the price off the ball.Just rude manager that didn't care about customer service and didn't care of the business bureau of false pricing.Double check all the price at the register because it will be different and they don't care unless you say something.

You must surrender your backpack at the door. The product I bought there contains lead levels above California state limits and it is recommended to wash hands after use. The prices are decent and there's a selection comparable to a lower 48 dollar store.

Store is clean and well organized. Not like the dollar stores in the lower 48, however serves purpose of lower prices on simple daily items.Note: Items are not all priced at $1. Each item priced differently.I would recommend store.

Wouldn't allow me to shop for birthday supplies for my one year old without insisting I put my diaper bag behind counter. Their counter faces the outward street with the door wide open. I'm not about to have my bag stolen for cheap decorations. No thank you.

I was shopping in there and asked to use the bathroom and was told very rudely by the Samoan woman working "NO. WE HAVE NO BATHROOMS FOR THE PUBLIC." I left my cart and walked out. People don't care about losing customer business anymore in today's world but if you lose enough maybe businesses will take notice.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!! I only put one star but to be honest this store deserves 00000 stars! i bought a foundation & when the cashier wrung it up, I asked him if I went to go try it at home in NATURAL LIGHTING instead of the store lights and it didnt match or if I had a reaction to the foundation would i be able to return it, he told me YES I COULD. fast forward the next 3 days, I go back in to exchange it because it wasn't the right shade and it gave me a horrible rash and the manager tells me "YOU CANNOT EXCHANGE IT BECAUSE YOU ALREADY OPENED IT. WE CANT SELL IT ANYMORE. WOULD YOU WANT TO BUY AN OPENED PRODUCT? NO." in the rudest tone ever!!! so I go on to tell her about what the boy said & yet she still goes "WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR FACE IS NONE OF MY CONCERN. I WONT ACCEPT IT. ITS NOT MY PROBLEM THAT YOU DIDNT TRY THE TESTERS BEFORE BUYING." um, what kind of manager does this? so rude and unprofessional. I hope they get fired and replaced by someone who is more friendlier and knows what shes doing. will definitely NOT be going to this store anymore. the managers are rude and unprofessional and in my case, just plain nasty and ugly. go somewhere else for your needs! this place needs to get shut down!

AMAZING FABULOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE! Katrina is the sweetest, efficient and friendlist employee. She was wonderful, was so polite and went out of her way to make us feel like we were the most important customers in the store. We were choosing balloons for my daughte's 16th birthday and this was the best experience of all the places we went looking for birthday supplies. I even left my wallet with all my credit cards and a quite a bit of cash and bless her heart, she locked it in the safe and I am gettign it back with everything in it. Katrina went above and beyond for us. I will always be backa nd asking Katrina's help for every special occassion and whenever I might need something for everyday! THANK YOU KATRINA! You made my day, my week and my month!

For some stuff it’s an alright price. But half the stuff didn’t have prices and when they did have prices I found out later they were wrong. Now that I’m checking my receipt at home, I feel like I got over priced. Especially when the price tags where right underneath them.
