10/08/23- I stopped by this morning around 10am. The young man making sushi rolls was nice and proud of the food he makes and sells.The older lady in Deli wasn't as nice. She seemed put out. Didn't want to answer my questions so I left her.The specials look good and I'll return to order some Ramen Noodles.The meat dept has a great seafood selection.The store is clean and the staff up front are friendly.Tell grumpy in Deli to lighten up. She could drop your score down.

Usually really good here but a randomly change their hours at night and then look at you rudely like we’re close you should have known they used to stay open 24 hours then 1 AM now midnight who knows if they’ll be open past 10 o’clock next week. And they only have one main line usually anymore everything self check out

Always problems 3:30 p.m. dinner???? I stood there for over a minute and a half waiting for somebody to come I actually ended up yelling really loud and someone came out from the back.. return something because the rice was rock hard and the manager accuse me of trying to steal another replacement meal.. and was extremely rude rice was hard

Unfriendly staff that makes it clear you are lucky to be there. Opening hours are subject to how they are feeling that morning.Decent produce. Good luck finding anything, because the layout makes zero sense.

I always Fourier about this Carrs, since it's on the other side of town. But it's at an important crossroads that would not really be too far from wherever I might be going. It's really BIG, twice or maybe more the size of the one in my neighborhood. So that means more variety, especially nice in the produce, and floral sections. And pharmacy. And it had a bank inside. Their produce is actually better than my neighborhood store. If you need something, it's worth stopping here.

I am not downloading yet another app in order to take advantage of sale prices, what happened to the Carrs card? I’m sure you harvest plenty of data from my spending habits, you are OUT OF YOUR MINDS if you think I am giving you access to my phone. Digital coupons? You can keep them. Allow me to provide you with my digital middle finger instead. I’ll be shopping at Walmart from now on.

Great selection of products and fresh produce, easy parking and access from roads, and good employees.Only gonna ding it one star cause Fred Meyer’s across the street is cheaper by about 20% when comparing the exact same products. Surprising because Safeway/Albertsons (who owns Carrs) is almost always the cheapest in the lower 48.

I love Carrs deli. Everything I go in there (like on October 2, 2023 @ 430pm) the same deli hot food counter gal is there. She normally is not talkative, however, thus time she was rude to me and other customers patiently waiting to get something. This location is particularly slow at the deli counter. I don't know why at rush hour time they would only have 1 (one) deli counter person. When another employee called for assistance, no one came and we still waited 18 minutes to finally get something from a very rude employee. D+ experience. It would be an F, but the deli food is worth it.

Aside from always rude customer service girls and bathroom hassle. Uncover security obvious and quite uncomfortable. I was told they follow everyone and why is that 🤔

It's a okay store. I'm from out of town and the employees aren't very friendly, not rude but just don't acknowledge your there.

I actually like this store. Food at the Deli though is always not available by time i get out of work, would help with people who don't have time to cook if they keep goin at least till 9pm... no rude workers and mostly organized or you can find what u need in same spots so it does not waste your time looking for things. Wishing all doors are open though, the one by the bank and starbucks have been closed for a long time..Sometimes those are my only purpose to go inside Carrs but have to use one of the other doors to get in. This sucks when cold. But im sure they have their reasons.

Just want to give a shout out to Lillia in the pharmacy department. She went above and beyond to help me with a prescription they didn’t have. Called around other Carrs and I was able to get it filled. She even called back to make sure everything went well!! Heartfelt thank you!!!

I currently shop here very often, as this is the store I live close to. The store used to be very nice and well kept, as well as employees being respectful and friendly. I go there to get my coffee and shopping done, everyone just seems tired and run down. They also shut off the customer wifi and It’s making it difficult to be able to use my carrs app at the store. I do not have data to be able to use it inside. I can’t imagine if there was a customer that needed to order a Uber, cab, etc. They wouldn’t be able to. This past 6 months this store has gone down hill. It’s under staffed. I showed up and was rejected cause it’s 10mins to closing and their own employees are worried they’re gonna be fired for DOING THERE JOB. Along with deli adding expiration stickers on top of expired products. I ended up buying salads that were expired already with stickers on top for 3 days later. Deli also shoved my cake into a plastic container that was still too small and smashed the top of cake. It wasn’t much but it could have been avoided. Ruining the dog ears on the cake. One night I came shopping and watched 5+ people take their bag with groceries and walk straight out. Without paying. The manager Trish was on duty and trying her hardest. One person could not handle the situation, especially without help. Ive tried to talk to assistant managers and the store manager Jenny about these issues and I just got written off. I’ve started going to the one across town just to avoid this store entirely. Sometimes I don’t have the time to do that, and have to stop here. Most TIME there’s a problem here or I’m witnessing a situation. Please fix this.

There's so many people in this parking lot right now, just sitting in their vehicles, and I get approached in my RV and get told to leave. I get the homeless problem, but I have out of state tags, I'm not doing any harm resting in an RV. Been traveling for hours and get told to leave when I need to rest, yet they're not saying anything to the parking lot full of other people.

I have had many bad experiences with employees at this store from the liquor and tobacco counters being rude and argumentative to the meat department woman who hates packaging meat and gives me attitude EVERY time I need hamburger this store also seems to have a hard time keeping items on the shelf especially in meat and dairy. Fred Meyers is 5 minutes away and also between northern lights and benson my advise is keep on driving.

Great food store. The biggest floral area in a grocery store I have ever seen. I also love their deli area, wing bar and salad/ olive bar.

I absolutely adore Carrs bakery. Always good. I had to order a wedding cake on short notice and they made it work. However, I was disappointed this time as it was a 3 tier wedding cake - they didn't have a box big enough for it. Thats fine, we worked out options and figured it'd be better to give it to me in pieces and i'll stack em up. Now I'm no baker, but I know straws or sticks are needed to support the cake once stacked.They promised to provide sticks/straws for support. Once it was time to stack up, they only provided extra buttercream and outlined three round areas in the center. I figured the sticks were already inside the cake....wrong. After an hour of the stacked cake, the bottom cake did not have the support. The cake was slanting and falling apart.I had to remove the upper tier cake in the middle of the wedding!! To prevent embarassment, I had to redesign the cake and leave it that way. When we cut the cake, there were no straws/sticks for support. I hope next time if they promise something, to provide what they say they will. This is the first Carrs made a mistake for me, so 3 stars it is.

The store is run-down and tired. Definitely showing its age. Poorly laid out inside. On the plus side, the staff are great! Lock your car and don't linger in the parking lot to avoid unwanted panhandling encounters. There are better Carrs stores in town that I find are worth the extra drive. Jewell Lake for example.

Very nice store. I stopped to just pick up a couple of things for a pot latch. The floors and displays are clean and there is a great selection of produce. The shopping lines are well managed and shoppers are not pressured to purchase a bag if they don't want or need one. Great place to shop.

Came to the shop to get just a water at 12:50 and they just closed door just on front of us. They said register closed at 12:50 but they had 20 customers inside. How u cash out people if u turned off registers??? 0 stars

They need to have a better system for public restrooms in the store, the restroom is only accessible by connecting with customer service, which always has a line

i arrived at the front entrance @12:40 AM. a gal named Tish and a guy with no name tag but a ginger beards aid nobody allowed in they were closing early so they could be closed by 1AM. I live out of town and would not be able to get the few things I need to survive. I am so upset

I love Carr's it's a very great place when you're looking for meats, sea food and basic needs personally I've been to many different Carr's and they were terrific. I recommend stopping by if you're on the go!

Went to get a veggie sandwich from their amazing sandwich bar they advertise and was told they could not make me a veggie sandwich because all they had was tomato and lettuce. I said ok and left, but not before turning around and realizing that I'm in a grocery store with lots of vegetables, lol.

I had in app coupon for free items, hand sanitizer and sanitary wipes. In the app it clearly stated no purchase necessary. I did end up buying some groceries with it. The coupon clipped to my account/number which should have automatically discounted the two free items off but it did not. My cashier end up arguing with me and told me I was holding up the line and will not assist me. Not sure what made the person get mad? I was polite the entire time. I end up going to the Mid-town mall location after and their customer service was superb!

The 5 stars is for Carrs on Northern Lights in Anchorage. Top notch customer service. I found a product in this store that all the other Carrs I had been at were out of stock. I had asked at my cloest Carrs in Eagle River if they would order this item which they never did. At Northern Lights she had what I needed in stock but in smaller bags. A wonderful lady helped me find what I needed and OFFERED to order me more and took my number. This Carrs is worth going out of my way for. A very good store. These days many stores can make you feel like a bother for asking for anything. As if you should be grateful to shop there. This Carrs makes me feel like a wanted consumer.
