Horrible customer service. The cashiers are rude and disrespectful. We were waiting at the customer service desk for 20 minutes with no help. Cashiers did nothing to help us or call anyone to help us as we asked them multiple times and got ignored. After 20 minutes of waiting, we were informed that it would take another 20 minutes to get help.

Lady at customer service didn't seem to care when I told her I slipped and fell right outside due to the cracks in the concrete. Person gathering the carts said they told management to fix it and nothing happened... thought this wasn't ghetto carrs?!?!

Shanghai meal is now 16.99 for a smaller container and the price is not marked anywhere.The chicken was so hard on about five pieces I couldn't chew it.I won't be buying this again. We will buy it frozen from now on

Today stopped at Carrs on Abbott and was so happy to see the parking lot completely clear of any snow or ice!I don’t usually shop at this location, but I’ll keep it in mind for the futureThank you for thinking of your customers we appreciate it!

A very nice grocery store in Anchorage. I stopped in for a couple of items for our cruise. The store was exceptionally clean and prices were fair. The deli/bakery was enticing as well.

I shop more at SAFEWAY or "CARRS" in Alaska than any other grocery store. Fred Meyers is much better in some ways and getting better. SAFEWAY is better in other ways such as their "O" Organics brand- the original and least expensive organics brand available in Alaska and Hawaii.Most of their prices are better than Fred Meyer.Their Shopping Card discounts are by far the best deal of any store I've shopped at- 20-30% savings on items is common.Safeway, in my experience, is more friendly than Fred Meyer or Walmart.

For the most part they have some good deals weekly. The clerks at the self checkout could be a little more patient with you when it comes to items not ringing up correctly. Overall it's ok.

Pretty good selection and a very clean store. Cashiers are friendly! Would like to see Starbucks employees more a litte faster would like to see more employees in Starbucks. Went in this morning at 9 am and there were 10 people waiting in line, so I left. Went in at 3 pm and the lady said she was closed. What can I say other than I will have to get my coffee elsewhere.

Been going to the deli for years. I get fresh deli meats and cheeses every week sometimes twice a week. The last year has been horrible. They see us and run and hide. We wait an average of 20-45min minutes to get helped. Even the deli manager Amy will look at us and continue stocking shelves and what not and not help us. Worst customer service in the deli I’ve ever seen. Sad. Use to be the best Carr’s in town.

I dont normally do personal shopping at Carrs, but in the last few years ainceI was a regular they seem to have stepped up thwir gane in some aspects. Staff is friendly and helpful. Their produce is beginning to look a lot better. Their grab and go meals look delicious, but havent tried. Bathrooms aren't the best, pretty nasty actually. I hope they will eventually convert all their locations to partner with Kaladi's rather than Starbucks.

Employee's @ this location are not very friendly. (except the liquor store ) Carr's/Safeway over price and then run so-called "good" deals specials. One thing I used to like is thier 5dollar Fridays. You can rack up Alaska miles/gas rewards. I shop there because I don't want to set threw 3 more stop lights.

Standard grocery store. Worker are nice and helpful, selection of items is good and prices are typical for Alaska. Open until 1am, but just one set of doors is used that late. Starbucks on site for those of you who like that.Of note, Carrs is somehow related to Safeway so your Safeway card works here. I recommend using it.

WAAY OVER PRICED.In reply to carrs reply. no. YOU CHECK OTHER STORE ADS...and I don't mean Carrs stores. Every store. Every year, month, day... coupon, no coupon. THEIR PRICES ARE ALWAYS JACKED. Admittedly...ONE OR TWO random items might be a great price. BUT GOOD LUCK playing hide and seek with that item.

If your light is on and you’re helping s customer, when the next customer pulls up and starts unloading the 6 items in their cart, you should help them not just say “line 3, go to line 3” and quickly turn off your light. It’s rude. The lady at checkout 1 at Abbott Road at 7pm on Thursday, September 25th needs to be taught about customer service. It’s back to the competition for me.

I felt it was expensive. I landed up going Costco. My daughter bought fresh mozzarella cheese, it was clearance and it was cheaper at Costco and you got two cheese. You think I would be use to the prices. I live in Oahu, Hawaii. It's just as bad the prices.

My all time favorite. Amazing variety of food from gourmet to bargain brand. Great sales and discounts. Always clean and well stocked. But most of all, great customer service. I'm always greeted warmly by the employees, and they always kindly help me find what I need. This is in great contrast to the Fred Meyers down the street.

Unusually has what I am going for. Fruits and veggies fresh and nice looking. Friendly service. Can get in quick and plenty of parking. Love the marked parking for seniors. Some of us don't have handicap signs but still have a hard time getting around. So it's nice to have a place close. Thank you. Some stores have so many handicap parking that many don't get used. Would be nice if some of those could be switched to senior spots.

It's OK. Late night shopping brings challenges as you can tell they don't really want to be open late. No bathrooms as they were shut down which turned our trip to a quick get what we need from a stock up on things trip.

I love this store ! Always stocked and clean.Today upon my visit I was amazed at how many people were not in compliance with the municipal rule requiring masks. If we all do our part we can maybe get to the point we no longer need to live this way. So I’m asking Carr’s to please enforce the rules.

So let me start by saying I LOVE the variety at Carrs, and they usually aren't very busy which is another plus...However; today, I left totally insulted and offended. My fiancé and I were watched as we did self checkout...now I have no concern with loss prevention or whomever doing their jobs but there were several other parties also using self check-out but it wasn't until me (a black woman) and my black fiancé were done with our transaction that they decided they no longer needed to watch the self checkout area. The profiling is disgusting, and while you're assuming that I would need to steal ANYTHING (let alone cupcakes and sprinkles)the person you don't suspect is probably stealing. DO BETTER.

The staff is friendly. The meat department and the produce department are the best in town. The food prices are reasonable, and the liquor store has a good selection. I have used the bakery four times for custom cakes, and they have never disappointed me. Five dollar Friday makes it affordable for the Church bakery detail. The only downside is that the deli line leaves a lot to be desired after five pm.

I placed a Thanksgiving Dinner order on 11/11/22 for pickup on 11/24/22 and I go in to pick up my order and the lady at the Deli tells me they never received my order. There was no apology and no reasonable solution. Thanks Carrs for ruinining Thanksgiving for us this year!!!!

Our Carrs was clean,some item were cleaned out pastas and quick fast foods like burritos,pizza pockets..lots of Easter candy though lol..meats and fresh fruit and vegetables was stocked! Good shopping otherwise 🙂
