Pretty awesome place to get your dog some exercise in the depths of winter! After an orientation, you're free to schedule a time for your kids to come out and enjoy the pool, as long as they behave and don't claw at the sides!! Nice pee potty area near the pool so they can take breaks as needed with dozens of toys to keep them occupied. Finally, the bath area is perfect for staying in one slot for the whole wash with separate drying stations. Warning: if your dog hates vacuums, they will be MORTIFIED by the industrial hair dryers... 😅

I brought in my 14 year old 12 pound little scruffy mutt mix to use the self grooming facilities. He's not in a great state to be left at an actual groomers for 5+ hours. The employees were so incredible kind and welcoming to my little buddy (Roger). They set us up with everything we needed, checked on us regularly, and it was clear they had a genuine interest in how he was doing with the process. Heather was very helpful and attentive to our needs, but both employees I interacted with had top notch customer service skills. Can't say enough about their assistance with the self wash process.

Very friendly staff. They did a great job helping coach us and our Frenchies for their first dip in a pool. Also provided guidance for future life vest purchasing. The bathing and groom area was nice for getting the pups ready to go back out in the cold.

Needing to update this review from 5 stars to 1 now that it is under new ownership. This used to be an amazing place. The new owner doesn't care if people come in and interrupt your session. We were paying 120$ for 3 dogs for 30 mins every two weeks. Our time and support of their business was not valued or respected. Old review:This is a fantastic way to introduce your pups to swimming and keep them swimming in the winter. The crew is great to work with and flexes to meet your dogs comfort zone for being in the water. Our dogs a zonked out after a good swim.

We moved here from Texas a year ago and I don't know how we would have survived this winter without K9 Aquatics - the best place for dogs!! I wasn't sure how my dog would do during her first swim/orientation but the ladies who work here are amazing and made her feel so comfortable. Within no time she was in the pool having a blast - she is SO excited to come here every weekend. We look forward to it!

What an awesome place! Took my 6 month old puppy here for her first ever swim and it was a success! Martina and Heather were so great to work with and took great care of my pup in the water. Highly recommed checking it out!

I took my 12 year old golden retriever here. Considering he is an old guy with arthritis, I was a little worried about how it would work and the entry and exit set-up. They were soooo nice to work with and the pool has an easy ramp that our golden had no trouble navigating. They got him outfitted with a pfd and let him pick out a few toys to retrieve and he had a GREAT time. We will definitely be back for more playtime.

I have owned and trained dogs since I was in grade school. I was very impressed with the very simple training process this place offers.My 3.5 year old Belgian mix was never taught to swim as a pup. He has extremely high energy and doesn't like water he can't stand in.At the end of our first session he was going further down the ramp and when assisted would swim with the proper posture. I think 2 more visits and he will be swimming on his own.I imagine most dogs that aren't as neurotic as mine would get it in the first session.

If I could give zero stars I would. The new owner is completely unprofessional andrefuses letting me bring a puppy there. Even though he’s been there previously with zero issues.Claimed my dogs acted aggressive whenshe's never met them, never met me,couldn't explain said situation when I'veonly brought in my puppies/no adult dogs that are aggressive. Couldn't give me areason or tell me what happened. Shehates Malinois and any breeds that "may"do bitework. Super sad to see such a greatfacility immediately go down hill becauseof a new owner. Didn't disclose she wasthe new owner until she took my card infoand WROTE it down and wouldn't tell me ifshe shredded the card info or not. Becautious because apparently any dog whodoes sports is deemed aggressive. Themost horrible phone experience I've everhad. Embarrassing for them.

This has to be the best find for my Allyanna to swim! Heather and the rest of the girls are genuine 100% all about dogs. They have a shower station, dry station and everything is individually gated for all dogs protection. Whether for therapy, weight loss or just fun, your dog's will be happy campers and have a lot of energy spent in a good way.

We absolutely love this place! We have brought our labradors here for several years. The pool and property is very clean, extremely friendly and helpful owners and they help you to get your dog used to the water. Our new lab is a year old and he gets wore out in the 30 minute block and then as an added bonus we get to give him a bath afterwards. It’s absurdly perfect. We bring home a clean and happy dog!

Alaska K9 Aquatics is the perfect fit for us. Faith, our Belgian Malinois loves to swim and retrieve toys from the water but she is very reactive towards other dogs. Taking her to public lakes where other dogs could potentially come by is not an option. At Alaska K9 Aquatics, we are able to play and have fun with her in a safe solo environment. When we are done playing in the pool, they have wash stations where we can rinse her off or give her a full bath complete with dog dryers. The owners are absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend Alaska K9 Aquatics!

The staff is absolutely amazing! Very caring and attentive to my boy. He's 1 year old and loves water, he had swam a bit in a lake several months prior to coming here. He was a bit shy with the water but the staff made him feel soo comfortable, trying many different approaches as to keep the stress level down for Barkley. Barkley doesn't trust men very quickly but he warmed up to make staff as he was calm and gentle. Barkley had a great time and we already have our next appointment set up for next week!

Alaska K9 Aquatics is my pupper's go to place for all aquatic adventures!Super convenient location, great staff, awesome scheduling! They have shower/bathing facilities and dryers. They also have towels and soap in case you forget those as well as collars, leashes, toys, and snacks for purchase. They even carry people apparel so you can match your best friend in style.They can accommodate any swimming skill level and are very super friendly! My little ginger baby was terrified of swimming for his first two years. But one day at K9 and he now has swim buddies. He looks forward to it every week and he definitely tells time by which day is 'puppy pool day'. It is a huge part of who he is and it is a nice little mini-date to spend with the SO. It's great exercise and keeps him clean and fresh.You 👏 Won't 👏 Be 👏 Disappointed 👏

My dogs LOVE this place! They get excited just pulling into the parking lot. If your dog isn't a confident swimmer, no worries, the staff is there to help you and your canine buddy have a safe and fun experience.

Big pool, great staff, very accommodating to dogs with disabilities or issues! Included use of the showers and dryers are awesome as well (I have a malamute). Awesome to have somewhere, esp clean and in winter to get good excersise in!!
