Meat buyers beware@ Porkchops pack his at least a lb of fat under the meat! I do not buy fat to eat but meat! I guess the days of going in when the butcher does to make sure you "see" the cut before you buy it are coming back!

90% of the Tomatoes were rotten, and baking potatoes didn't look much better. Just about anything you need for a salad was rotten. A person would think that it being the 4th of July weekend, the produce section would be stocked with stuff worth buying. Wish I had taken pictures of how disgusting the majority of it looked.

The prices are completely over the top here for what you're actually getting. And that includes the quality of the food you are buying. Most products were either right on the edge of its OUT-OF-DATE range or thet were completely over it, which is why this place is considered too expensive for me to shop at, due to the fact that you are overpaying for the food that seems to be teetering on the edge of old to almost too old to sell. Freezer burnt food was in every freezer. I did not see the appreciation of this. If I'm goimg to overpay for a piece of produce, then it should be at least Fresh, not right past its "Fresh date". I'm not overpaying for the quality of food offered here.

I've been shopping at this Foodland for 8 years. Never had a bad experience with them. The place is always clean, even the restrooms. Their staff is always friendly and helpful. It's my preferred place to buy meat and groceries. When they have their Friday only sale, they almost always have everything in stock. Management seems to give a hoot about the store and their employees and it shows.

I enjoy shopping at Foodland. They have a wide variety to choose from and always have fresh cut meats at reasonable prices. The staff are always friendly and helpful when needed.

Love shopping here!! Great Bakery,, I’ve had several cakes made for different occasions and always delicious and well pleased!! Also their fruit trays and deli trays are outstanding!! They are very friendly helping you in whatever you need!!😊

I don't even know where to begin here but this time it's gone too far. I used to enjoy going to this retail store but now things have changed since all the young immature adults are getting hired here. I visited this store on Sun October 10th and the cashier that checked us out mentioned something about abuse and then all the other cashiers started laughing. Like dude that's not funny because they don't know what abuse is like and when they have experienced it then that's when it's not funny anymore. My point is in times like this nobody and I mean "nobody" needs to experience this regardless if they're in school or not.Ok, maybe some things have changed. I've had a peaceful experience the last 2 visits.

Very friendly cashiers, awesome sales. You have to pay attention to the expiration date on the meats though, I have gotten bad chicken and pork three separate times over the last month, but they were very helpful with exchange/refund.

It's my favorite place to get my groceries. I know about where everything is. If I cant find something there's always someone that I can ask. The reason for four stars the cashiers could be alittle more friendly. Some never gives a smile

This place is amazing they have great one day sales and even their everyday pricing is fair and competitive... The employees are super kind and everyone goes out if their way to help. Also, they contribute to their community by accepting various food vouchers given by churches, etc, for people in need.

This store always has great service and the isle are always stocked. They have hard to find items that can't find at the local Walmart. Meat department has fresh meats and a kind butcher staff. Small town store with a big heart!!

This store is really the only grocery store around other than Walmart, so I guess they really do not care about "customer satisfaction". They need to clean up their entrance way, and get those young men working! Buggies are always in the parking lot and all over the side walk! They are not good at checking dates on their food at all. And they hate to bring out the fresh produce as they'd much prefer to have the "OLD" sold first!

Bought some pre packaged chicken one day, went to cook it the next day and it was spoiled, i just threw it away, i went back to get a few things i forgot and told the cashier abt the chicken so they could check the other chicken and she immediately got the manager and he issued me a refund. They really went above and beyond for customer satisfaction. Please note: i will state again, the chicken was prepackaged and sent to the store. Also i might add the chicken was in date abt 4 days so the meat dept didnt put out chicken past the due date.

Occasionally let food get too close to expiration date and waits too late to mark down to sell after foods make expiration, they are getting better about this issue. Although they do contribute to the city proceeds and raising money for local city funds such as schools etc. They need restricted or fined for all food found spoiled or thrown away as waste for not selling.

With Mom and Pop shops dying out across the country and WalMart popping up inside of other Walmarts, it's nice to find somewhere where the manager will actually remember you. Their selection of local or craft foods is a godsend to our peoples' postmodern prepackaged, postprocessed product line we call "food."
