convenient lil grocery store in Wilsonville..been there since I was young ,name has changed but store still has the same small town feeling.like small home town stores .I went here with my daddy, when I was younger and brings me a sense of nostalgia .good deals and clean as well.

Stopped by Hudd's Food Center on Hwy 25 going to Sylcauga. This was before Easter. They had a beautiful selection of flowers and plants for sale outside, before you enter the store. My sister and I liked the produce section. Just picked fruits and fresh vegetables. Great dairy, meat area was awesome.( Found a beef roast that turned out to be so.... tender.) Grocery aisles were stocked. Did get a few bargains. Frozen items looking good. Great selection of ice cream.We were greeted when we started shopping and thanks as we were leaving. Overall, store was clean and service was friendly. Will stop by Hudd's Food Center again.

While in a campground up the road, I stopped in for some groceries. It's bigger inside than I thought. While it doesn't have the selection of a chain store, it definitely has everything you need. Great store that I would recommend visiting

They usually have what I need and the employees are always friendly. My only complaints are their prices have gone up a lot and there is no one there to cut meat on the weekend.

I love that they cut there own meat. But you wouldn't know it. Why because you don't smell the raw meat. The workers are so sweet. You would think they have known you all your life.

Local little market. Moderate selection. Not at all reasonably priced, unless you want to buy the completely generic, no name, off brand, they're rather expensive. It's a little run down. Things are noticeable worn out, broken, stained, etc. Rather dirty. Some of the cashiers are very nice, a couple are scary and sometimes rude. I'm pretty sure the only reason that they're still in business is because they sell more food than Dollar General, and there's simply nothing else in town. You're literally paying for the convenience of not driving 30 minutes to buy some groceries.

Does not require patrons to wear face masks. It may not make some nervous or upset, but there are some who it does. But the staff is wonderful. The comment regarding the lack of masks is in no way a reflection of the customer service the staff provides. I have gone to this grocery store since I was 13 and in the ** years I have frequented it, the staff has been pretty much the same! With the exception of a few new faces, of course. But the ladies that manage the store are just peaches. This is the kind of store that still allows people to charge a few groceries until payday, ya know? Why wouldn't you want to support a place like this?

Hudds is a great little local grocery store, people are extremely friendly, store is old but clean. They have a very good meat dept. I just purchased a bunch of Ribeye steaks and they were as pretty as I have seen anywhere.

Friendly staff, older facility, limited variety and stock. Everything is very overpriced! One trip I spent 25$ on 6 bananas, a bag of apples, one gallon of milk, and one jar of pb&j. (To put it into prospective to for you.) Will not be back. If I want to spend 50$ on one lunch I'll go to Publix 30 minutes away.

This USED to be a great store, but in the past few years it's declined progressively. I've purchased milk from there only to realize it had already expired! and I won't even feed the meat to my dogs not to mention it's over priced. I will happily grab a soda or snack from there but I'm not buying anything fresh.

I would not take anything for the people that work there. A little over priced but what do you expect when the next grocery store is 20 minutes away. I love it.

This is my hometown grocery store, formerly known as "Sammy's" which opened in 1957, and if there's one thing that everybody will agree on, it's that the employees treat you like family, it just feels like home. If you've never had the pleasure of shopping here, I HIGHLY recommend you stop by, you won't regret it!

Okay could be cleaner. Produce sits too long not good quality. Often have good price on meat just have to pay close attention to freshness, tends to sit in case too long and develops water/blood in packages.

My family loves Hudd's. The store is a little old but it has served Wilsonville for 4 generations that I personally know of. It sees a lot of local and lake traffic. The people at Hudd's may take a little time to get to know you but once they do, you won't find a nicer place to buy groceries, plants and have access to a butcher that will custom cut your order.

You have to make the speak are if you need to for something they act like they don't want to help you. I come in saying smile it's looks like you have eat a lemon then you might get a little smile but it's a good Store and I have been coming there for years.

Friendly an helpful staff,they will order most anything your looking for if they don't carry it. They also have a butcher on staff that will cut meat to your request. I don't shop anywhere else.

Would be a good place to shop if they didn't have people hanging around outside of the store like stray dogs... they just be in the way of other shoppers
