We stopped in this coffee shop for a milkshake and a coffee. We met with the owner and we really enjoyed his company. He is such a great guy and made a fresh pot of strong, hot coffee for us.He also made a great chocolate milk shake for me on his vintage soda shop shake machine.Lots of art to look at and such a great person to talk with. Highly recommended!

This coffee shop is my girl friends and I favorite go to coffee shop. Great coffee, and very cozy, relaxing atmosphere. The owner is a very attentive, good sense of humor, and all around nice guy and makes sure we are comfortable while we are there. They have free wifi also, which is quite nice, and useful while drinking coffee.

Coffee tasted bad. Idk if the milk was spoiled or what. I only took a few sips. Place was nice enough, but there was a strange old man, kept staring at me. That was weird. Also, the place was hot, idk if they have air conditioning. I really wanted to like this place because it was cute inside. But, alas, don't get coffee from here!

Fine little shop. Filled with local art to view and purchase while you enjoy your coffee. The staff is quite friendly as well. Great place to stop by while you're enjoying a day downtown.

I walked in the door. I was told by the assistant that I had 30 minutes before closing. I was reminded several more times by the owner. I was sitting there with my lap top. I told him that I had a clock on my laptop after the owner reminded me several more times when the time that it closed. He said that it was the time on his watch that mattered in a VERY hateful and angry manner. Over the years I've been going there. No more. The owner is a very money conscious person. In no way is he a customer focused person. In other words, he just wants your money. He's greedy. I would suggest going somewhere else if you want some peace.

Had a very poor customer service experience, and when I attempted to just let it go the owner came at me again with another rude remark. People DO NOT like that sort of thing, and it ruined the time we were having for an event we had spent a ton of time and money at. Considering the smartie remarks of “thank you” under the other reviews calling out his bad customer service I believe that says enough about how much he cares what the customer thinks. I am happy to see a new option in the area to try.Hahahaha! I also love the comment that proves he is a jerk was added to this review as well. My advice is to avoid avoid avoid because the bitterness at this place is spilling into the flavor of the coffee, in a big bad way, anyway.

Worst customer service ever!!! Owner made sure to tell us that we must make a purchase for our 3 and 4 year old kids to use the restroom. IT'S NOT A PUBLIC RESTROOM! Just so you know. Then he harassed my wife a second time asking if he should start a tab and let her know again that she needed to purchase something and that it wasn't a public restroom. To the owner: Good customer service goes a long way. We would have purchased two medium coffees and more items for our four children. Instead you lost those sales and have another bad review. By the way the coffee on it's own is terrible.

The interaction with the worker was rude and awkward.Reply to the owner: "I did not have any workers today so please get your story right."It was experience from a previous time I came. I just am now writing reviews to all the businesses I went to from a previous day. It does not mean I had to be at your business today. Maybe if you spent more time knowing how to treat people, have class and manners, and not instantly write a reply to a review then maybe you wouldn't have any 1 star reviews. My story is right, it's just that you don't know mine.

While in town for a business trip, I stopped in to have a coffee and to work for a bit since I had to wait for my hotel to be ready. There was a gentleman having a milkshake before lunch so I decided to go the same route. The owner was nothing but friendly and supported our early morning shake decisions. When you walk in you can notice the "100" on the health department score sheets and that this business was recognized as the best of 2021. Striking up the conversation, he stated he had been here for 7 years. He is proud of his shop, as he should be. It was so interesting to see his 1950's milkshake maker; it still put in the work as if it were brand new. I noticed a sign on the door saying the shop would be closing for a certain time frame, however, this did not stop the owner from offering me his wi-fi and granted me permission to hang outside of his shop to work. When the shop owner was leaving, he personally stopped to check on me and make sure I was still good. I love supporting locally owned businesses and I am so glad I chose this establishment over a corporate chain.

I love the boutique that is with the coffee shop. They have the cutest clothes, jewelry and accessories. The candles are handmade and smell wonderful. A great place if you are looking for gifts for any occasion.

Cute place. Easy to get too. The guy serving us coffee was very nice. I had a mocha and my husband had a caramel macciachto. My husband loved his. I gave it 4 stars because it has a very blunt coffee flavor that almost over runs the other flavors and I like smoother coffee. But if you love coffee flavor you will like this coffee!

As always, we had a great visit!! We always feel like we're visiting family here!! My husband swears by their Red Bull Milkshake. I LOVE the White Mocha Frap with an extra shot of espresso! Have them hit it with a small shot of caramel and it's the bee's knees!! We love this place and love to stop in when we want some delicious drinks. If coffee is not really your thing, try the Peach-Colada smoothie. I promise you it's gonna be the highlight of your day!! I always feel like I'm visiting family when I go in!

I wish I would have remembered to grab a picture while I was here. I love this place, it's a small town coffee shop locally owned. The owner and staff are all super nice and the coffee is good. Environment is pretty laid back and it's in the heart of downtown Wetumpka if you're visiting so you can take your coffee on the run. They have a wide variety, though I am more of a cold coffee drinker myself. They have a wide variety for both coffee lovers and non coffee drinkers. You can get your standard drip coffee, lattes, Fraps, cold brew, smoothies, ice cream, and a ton more. If you're in Wetumpka stop by and support the local business! It's located in the old Bank, and can be somewhat easy to miss, but just look across the street from Frios.

The HGTV show has really vitalized the Wetumpka downtown area. The River Perk is a nice little coffee shop full of local artist's work and interesting coffees. We went on a Saturday near closing time and it was clear that one person was not enough to handle the crowd. Although he could use more help, I'm not sure where he would put them in the tiny space. The shop has tables where you can enjoy you coffee, shakes, smoothie or ice cream. It even has a door that allows you to explore the quaint shop next door full of eclectic and one of a kind gifts, clothing, and jewelry. Take the time, relax and enjoy the rebirth of a town.

I recently visited downtown Wetumpka and stopped in for a Cup of Joe. This little spot has the best coffee! It has me reminiscing a week later. I ordered a Lavender/Vanilla Latte made with Oat milk. Yum-yum!!

Every town needs a coffee shop, in my opinion. This is the closest within many miles, unless you prefer to brave the Waffle or Huddle houses. Their coffee is strong. The barista grew up in Seattle, and that's just how she makes it. I prefer my coffee on the stronger side. They made me a vanilla latte, and it was quite tasty. They also don't skimp. The large coffee is a LOT of coffee, and for only $4 and some change. This place is much more than just a coffee house, though. They have breakfast, lunch, and a nice-sized gift shop. If you're looking for Alabama souvenirs, this is the place to go. It's also rarely crowded, but that's only because their secret isn't out yet. Experience this coffee gem for yourself. Free parking!

Don’t know if the man behind the counter there was the owner or what, but to make a long story short, he was very rude and put a damper on what was otherwise a nice day spent supporting small businesses in downtown Wetumpka. Will never go there angain. Everywhere else we went was awesome.
