What a gem! This little coffee joint is such a delight, the interior is a hybrid of history and modern simplicity, bright and cozy, homey yet elegant.Hubby had The Rocket latte, which is maple, brown sugar and vanilla. It is heavenly. I wonder if they make their own syrup cause often times commercial syrup has those chemical aftertaste, but this maple brown sugar is soooo smooth and fragrant, it tastes like real food flavor.So glad downtown Wetumpka is blooming now with all the cool local shops!

I've been going to Restoration for several months now and I always have a positive experience! Everyone is so nice here. I'm a big Iced Coffee fan, and their drinks are amazing. It's HEAVENLY.Just as a suggestion, it would be nice if they had another few stacks of laminated menus for people in line to look at. Unfortunately, as I've stood at the counter completing my payment, multiple people that lack self awareness and respect for other people's personal space end up trying to stand on top of you to look at the menu on the counter. I feel like having more menus and them being in a dedicated location would help minimize this type of issue. Like perhaps having a stack and a sign that reads "grab a menu while in line" could work. 🤔

We are on a cross country trip from California to South Carolina, and spent the afternoon shopping in Wetumpka's quaint and charming downtown area. While shopping, we stopped by Restoration Coffee House for some coffee. My wife ordered the Twin Turbo, an iced vanilla-caramel concoction, and I had a cold brew topped with sweet cream. We were both very happy with our drinks. They were smooth and full of flavor. The coffee house is located in the former Bank of Wetumpka building, and it is grand! It has seating upstairs and downstairs, and it is decorated with vintage furnishings. There is actually a grand piano sitting on a platform above the entry door, just because! Besides the great atmosphere and tasty coffee drinks, the baristas topped off the experience with their friendliness and helpful suggestions. They guided us to just the perfect drinks, and promised to redo them if we weren't satisfied. Not only did they help us choose our coffee, we asked later for dinner recommendations and they helped with that as well. These baristas are about the closest thing Wetumpka has for a Bureau of Tourism! If you want a great coffee experience in Wetumpka, you've got to try this place!

My absolute favorite cup of coffee. The atmosphere is beautiful and the employees are very personable. They have a way of making you feel like you've known them for years. From what I can tell, Restoration Coffee has been well embraced by the community. The Tallassee location is equally beautiful. Not that I'm thinking about it....I should go get a cup!

Such a cute coffee shop!!! They’re local and the coffee is both yummy and affordable! It appears that they make their own syrups and I was genuinely surprised with how good my iced latte turned out. A lot of local coffee places will have burnt tasting and watered downed coffee then cost $9/10 for just an overall subpar coffee but this place really hit the mark with quality and price point. Super happy Wetumpka has a place like this!! The two girls working were also super kind, I wish I still lived nearby so I could go there more often!!

Good things: for this artsy girl from St. Pete Florida, I love the open space concept, and the antique comfy chairs are a plus! The people behind the counter are warm and inviting. And the biggest shock to me was that they made a lavender latte without making it taste like I’m eating the entire flower. The portion of honey and lavender were spot on and did not drown out the taste of my coffee but compliment it. Which just about every other coffee shop in Alabama has failed at the Restoration has succeeded.I can’t wait to try more of their items!Now why did I take away a star?Three reasons, one the floor is disorienting. I really hope they get a rug to break up the floor’s pattern upstairs but mostly down stairs when you first walk in. If it distracts me that much I worry about an elderly person with sight issues.Two they have green shades upstairs which is a beautiful touch of color but I would love to see more greenery. Maybe some Pothos cuttings. Heck I might bring some cuttings from my garden for them to break apart the black, white, and brown.Three they have an adorable bread box to hold their pastries and bakery items. But it’s too close to the counter so you can’t really see inside of it or really even notice it because everything blends in with it. If they’re going to keep it on the counter, I would definitely suggest like a cake tree, or pastry dome made out of glass or crystal so guest eyes are drawn to it.Lastly, if you do plan to visit and I highly encourage you to do so, remember this is downtown Wetumpka and parking might be scarce. This is no way the fault of the company. I just wanna make sure you’re prepared. :)

Went there for the first time today. I'm not too knowledgeable with coffee but the staff was so nice and helped me pick out my drink. I ended up getting a Coco-Mocha; it's amazing!! I highly recommend if you like coconut. Also the interior is gorgeous. I'll definitely be coming back for more!!

Best coffee of my life. I got the Coca-Mocha (Coconut and Mocha) and it’s amazing. The coffee isn’t watered down like Starbucks and Dunkin, and it’s not left in the dust by the cream. The coconut is just strong enough to be enjoyed but not too strong to distract from the great mocha. I need another!

My daughter and I visited Restoration Coffee House for the first time yesterday. Because of a heart issue, I only drink decaf. Most places I have visited have a limited menu when it comes to decaf so it was a very nice change when the seet barista told me that I could get anything on the menu as decaf. The coffee was amazing, service top tier, and over all great experience. This is my new coffee spot!!!

This restaurant had cool styles and designs. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean. This restaurant had wireless pay (Applepay) and wifi. I ordered the iced matcha latte with almond milk, and it was delicious. I asked if the drink was vegan, and the cashier was helpful and transparent. The cashier was kind and welcoming. They even let me check the ingredients on the almond milk carton. The experience and food was a pleasure.Vegetarian options: Dairy free options.Parking: This is in downtown so parking may be difficult to find but there is no cost for parking.

This place is amazing! The first time I came to visit I walked into a packed coffee house full of customers. However, the crowd did not stop me from being greeted with a warm welcome of smiles behind the counter. This group of talented baristas kept a long line flowing producing drinks at an amazing rate. But their efficiency was not to be out done by their quality. My drink came out perfect in taste and temperature. This is a must stop in downtown Wetumpka.Also, the decor is perfect and fitting for this wonderful place.

I entered wearing all black clothing, sporting a Bass Pro hat. I was completely stunned, at this time the exquisite coffee shop had zero reviews. What a surprise, a beautiful coffee shop with comfortable seating. I immediately ordered a cold brew coffee, and sat down. Good thing I was sitting because this liquid would have knocked me off my feet. Brewed to perfection, this cold brew brought me on a world tour. I obviously took another one to go. I will be back, I love this place. The humans behind the counter were absolutely lovely.

My mom does prison ministry at the prison nearby, and my little sister and I always love going here while she’s working on Thursday’s.Marge and Avery have always been so sweet to us. The coffee never disappoints. I highly recommend this coffee shop!
