Let me update this, still a 1 star review. I called the automated system last week and placed a request to have my meds refilled. They had to get an authorization from the Dr. Office. I get that. I go back twice over the course of this week and finally tonight after going back I find out they haven't got a response from my doctor. I understand that isn't the pharmacies fault but how about a little follow up. Check back with the doctor again. Notify me so I can call the doctor. Something... if only my town had a walgreens.

I had issues with using my Care Pass. Jenna took the time to figure out was the issue was. She was extremely polite, helpful, and kind. Jenna definitely needs to be recognized for her superior customer service! Keep doing what you are doing Jenna. You are making a difference in this world.

I am so glad this place exists. I stopped in here to use the restroom and stock up on some supplies such as razors etc. They had everything I needed at a reasonable price. Also a big thank you to the person at the counter! She was very knowledgeable and helped me with some purchases

I had an issue accessing my account to use my care pass. The issue was resolved by the cashier. She realized I was having a problem so we moved to a register. I showed her my email I had received and told her I had updated it from an email I was closing online. It took her a few minutes but she fixed everything in the system for me and did a new lookup after my purchase was completed to make sure it was in there correctly. The other person at the front of the store came up and realized what she was trying to do and handled the other customers while my account got straightened out. Both of these ladies had a great attitude and were very customer focused.

Dropped off a prescription on a Sunday about 1 hour before they closed and the pharmacy tech was super helpful. I had never been to this CVS and they didn’t have the medicine the script was wrote for in stock and I didn’t have enough time to go to a different pharmacy before close so he called to the urgent care we visited and got the prescription changed. All in all it took about 15 minutes for everything, which I was expecting it would take longer. I was very pleased with this service, and the pharmacy technician was incredibly helpful and kind.

Just trying to deal with this place because it's close to home so I finally left...why? Botched billing, prescriptions not ready on time, incompetent personnel, extremely high employee turnover rate, never being able to consistently keep the same manufacturer of critical meds like blood pressure etc.

You are in the business of helping people that are not well for whatever reason. To completely shut down the pharmacy for lunch is ridiculous. At a bare minimum have SOMEONE there to let you drop off prescriptions.

2nd COVID VACCINE RANT…It took us a long time to decided to get the covid vaccine. I have been against it from the beginning. I change my mind. It’s a Lisa thing!Getting the first vaccine was no problem. However, this is what happened when we went to get our second vaccine.I called the pharmacy at CVS in Warrior, AL on Friday to see if they were still take walk-in’s. They said yes an appointment isn’t needed.On Sunday, yesterday, my husband and I went to CVS for our covid vaccines. We walked up to the counter and asked for the vaccines. We were told that they couldn’t see us til 3:30. I told the pharmacist that we had called on Fri and was told no appointment needed. She said we have to work around the ones that have appointments. Ok, I understand. Are those with appointments actually sitting here waiting on their vaccines. Her reply, NO but they are coming. So, your telling me I don’t need an appointment yet the ones with appointments are not even here and your unwilling to give us our covid vaccines. I said ok then, make me an appointment for tomorrow. Oh, you will have to call in the morning for an appointment. Our system won’t allow us to make them for the next day. Then comes the other pharmacist. My husband repeated what I had just said to her.Pharmacists were rude and said we could go elsewhere. We were both mad. Here we are in a pandemic and we are turned away from getting the second dose.We left and I called the Gardendale, AL location. Lady was very nice. I asked if they take walking and do we have to have an appointment. Oh, no ma’am, we accept walk-ins, no appointment necessary. I said we will be there in about 10 minutes.We arrived and went to the counter and filled out out paperwork and got our covid vaccines. The pharmacist was very nice and very accommodating. I thanked her for being so nice. We had great service there.We can’t believe that we were actually turned away from getting the covid vaccine. No wonder more aren’t getting the vaccine. We almost didn’t.I also got my flu shot at the same time. Yes, they are already giving flu shots.CVS in Warrior is being reported!Keep in mind that it was our personal decision to get the covid vaccine. I don’t give a rip if anyone gets the vaccine or not. This is not a debate!!It’s a personal choice and I’m not saying you or anyone else should get the vaccine or not. Don’t post negative comments on my post about getting the vaccine. This is MY RANT!

Never use this CVS. I took my prescription in and told them I would be using Good Rx for a discount. When i got back the price was twice what i expected. I was told they had applied a different cash discount to the pills. The cashier would not listen or change the price. I don't know if the store or the cashier was getting the kick back but they will not get any more of my family's money.

Prescription prices and excuses (lies told by pharmacy members) are a reflection of their character.I questioned the price of a certain Prescription. It was not the GOOD RX price nor even close.cvs (lowercase intended and deserved ( $14.99 GOOD RX 7IISHEALMART 4 BUCKS

Our 7 year old son was diagnosed with the flu on a Sunday at Urgent Care. I took his prescriptions to the drive through at our local CVS, arriving at 5:40pm, 20 minutes before closing time. The tech took the prescriptions and then said to me, "We won't be able to get these for you tonight because we close at 6." I explained to her that he needed to begin the medication right away and that since they weren't yet closed, it was horrible customer service not to fill it. There was no one in front or behind me in the drive through line. Then she said to me that they always get "bombarded" with Urgent Care prescriptions and they just didn't have time to fill them. I replied that we had no wait at Urgent Care and no one else was in the lobby, so that wasn't true right now. She told me I could drive to Gardendale Walmart because they close at 7. I took the prescriptions, and after telling her what I thought, started the 15 mile drive to Walmart, who it turns out, also closes at 6. I had my sick child with me this entire time. My husband stayed home from work the next day and got our sons prescriptions filled at a family owned pharmacy that morning. Our entire family has monthly prescriptions that we were filling at CVS, but we are now switching. This was inexcusable.

As any patient my daughter needs her prescription waited two weeks for it be filled. No call to say its out of stock no help to find it at another cvs. Everytime I call its like no one knows the prescription exist or has not been filled i have to start over again and explain I've been waiting for some time now.

I have chronic migraines and my doctor gave me this new prescription as a last resort preventative. It’s a shot and he said it’s super expensive and most insurances refuse to cover it. I gave it a shot anyway and when I called cvs said it was $587 dollars, just for one month. Jade, the extremely helpful employee on the phone said hold on this is insane. She looked for and applied a coupon that got it down to $5! I was blown away! I didn’t ask her, she didn’t have to, but she went the extra mile for me. I’ve never had any problems and always am greeted with a smiling face and helpful service.

Store Manager had a serious attitude problem. First, before I could put my items down(had my hands full) he was asking for my CVS card, which I replied "Yes, let me put my items down first!" He raised his eyebrows with attitude. Had attitude the rest of the time....shaking his head, making faces, slamming things into the bag...a snarky "Have a nice day!" at the end. This was the Store Manager, mind you. I think he was mad because he was called to help check out customers when the line got long!! Nice attitude for a store manager!! I will go elsewhere from now on!!

One of the worst places in this area, lived here all of my life and never have I met more inept, incompetent, and rude people. Even if you're in dire need of medical supplies or a prescription, and there is another drug store within 80 miles, man up and keep driving. Be the best decision you ever made.

The people are nice but border on incompetent. Drop off a prescription and get told it's going to be 3 hours to be ready. Then call around that time, and it's going to be another hour. I don't care about price anymore... Not worth it....

I have to deal with CVS, because of my insurance. I have had many mistakes made on my meds. They have always blamed the Doctors. They do a high volume at this store. Just be careful and check and double check before you leave the store.

Wouldn't sell me sinus medicine because I have an out of state drivers license. I will not spend another dime with CVS! The building looks like they belong in the hood!

UTTERLY DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. PRESCRIPTION PRICES ARE GROSSLY OUT OF HAND HERE. SHIPPS IS GREAT. FOR THE SAME MEDICINE WITHOUT INSURANCE (BECAUSE INSURANCE DOESN'T COVER IT) AT CVS IS ALMOST $200 AT SHIPPS IT IS ONLY $38. BUT WILL CVS PRICE MATCH NO. BUT THEY SAY THEY'LL MATCH GOODRX BUT GUESS WHAT??? YOU GOT IT THEY CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $50!!! BUT YOU GO PULL THE SAME PRODUCT BUT 4% OFF OVER THE COUNTER SHELF AND IT'S UNDER $7. BUT THE DOCTOR WAS ADDIMENT THAT I NEEDED THE 5%. SO YOU CAN'T TELL ME THAT 1% MORE OF THE ACTIVE INGREDIENT SHOULD COST THAT MUCH MORE!!! CVS DOESN'T CAR ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS/CUSTOMERS/CLIENTS AT ALL!!! THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT THE MONEY!!!

I called the pharmacy and was on hold for 25 minutes before I gave up. This was the second time in two days of trying to get some information. This is unprofessional service, in my opinion, and I will be transferring my prescriptions to another pharmacy.
