I called this location on April 5th due to an app issue ordering to this location as I am out of state from the location. I asked to speak with a manager in regards to issuing a refund as I was hours away and the person who answered the phone said I have to come in. I spoke with customer service of smoothie king and they said they could assist and I still have heard nothing back. All I wanted was assistance to cancel my order as it involved one of my rewards and no one can do more than say I have to come in after me explaining multiple times I’m hours away in a different state. If you order from here do it in person and not on the app because from at least my experience they don’t care to try and resolve anything.

Thanks Kathrine for calling me back YOU were a better resolve. I'll remember NOT to call here in advance to complement customer service and place a order. The very person I called to uplift and compliment and was very excited to speak with (Jessica) was soooo nasty and rude to me on the phone and hung up the phone in my face!! Because she was "paranoid" which led to Opal the manager... that went all bad as well. The manager Opal ended up yelling at me and hanging in my face. She should definitely NOT be a manager until further trained. So sad about this for the owners!! I meant well and was very excited to buy the entire staff of 7 who over heard the entire ordeal smoothies. Needless to say that did not happen. Smoothie King missed out on a pretty nice size order today. And have TOTALLY embarrassed the brand 😳.Not good when competitors (City Bowls) are right across the parking lot. And they are phone friendly as well as in store friendly!! Js. We enjoyed our City Bowls today. But would have much rather had Smoothie King today. I hope further training takes place. So no money is missed. Big fail!Oh well. 😢

Literally just wasted $14 on a half filled acai bowl with poor customer service. This location was not my first option because I never have a good experience here, but to have purchased an acai bowl the day before there's no way I can not leave a bad review. 1. What happened to Hello, Welcome to Smoothie King. I let that slide because maybe they're not morning people which means they shouldn't work morning shift. 2. The acai bowl I received was half filled, Literally can see over 40% of the bowl without the top bowl cover, there's no way Smoothie King is charging $12 for a bowl to only be filled 60%. The bad haired manager states the bowl is weighed. Either the previous bowls I've had were done wrong or this store is just lazy. 3. Horrible customer service, one thing you shouldn't do is patronize a paying customer especially with inflation being an issue. This is one of the sole reasons I would rather make my own product than spend money were I'm not appreciated or get my monies worth.So, to the Horrible Hair Dyed manager and timid employees (Jaylin and whomever) you should find another high paying career if you don't like your low paying jobs that doesn't require much efforts.

I went to this location and wanted to use a coupon from the SaveAround Fundraising book that I bought from my nephew. The coupon offered a free 20oz. smoothie with the purchase of a 32oz. The clerks told me they not longer took those coupons because it affected their pay rate and the quality of their smoothies (what??) even though this coupon specifically says that it can be honored at this location. I don’t understand why they participate in this if they’re not gonna honor it. I didn’t have any trouble with any other vendors using the coupon book. We won’t be coming back to this or any other Smoothie King location.

I thoroughly enjoy visiting this particular smoothie king for making my smoothie PERFECT every time. There seems to be a new manager in place named Opal and she is awesome! The store is always clean, pleasant customer service, and my smoothie always taste fresh. Pleasant atmosphere, Id highly recommend.

I was cautious due to the low ratings, but there were no problems with my experience. I was greeted upon entering. I got the mango kale smoothie, tasted like a really good fruit smoothie that happened to be green.Only suggestion would be maybe adding more chairs for sitting and waiting.

I'm no longer returning to this specific location. I went in this evening (05/06/23) and there was a young lady and a young man with red/strawberry blond hair working. The young lady greeted me, but the young man did not say anything. I went up to the counter to order and the young man followed me to the counter - he did not say one thing. He just looked at me and looked off. I asked him if he was ready to take my order and he nodded his head once - no words, no smile, nothing. I left. I would suggest better training for the employees, but then again, speaking to someone is basic courtesy.

DO NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION IF YOU HAVE ANY MEDICAL CONDITION. I usually visit in the PM however after my AM gym session I stopped in . While asking the male which options would provide less sugar (a female staff member appears to be of supervision support) steps in and RUDELY over talks THE cashier and myself. Upon finalizing my order I explained my medical need to have my smoothie blended super thick due to a medical condition that doesn’t allow me the toleration of watery drinks …SHE RUDELY DISREGARDED MY INFORMATION and stated she will make my smoothie as standard directs ( keep in mind I’d just paid 11bucks so this wasn’t complimentary) she slammed the lid of the blender in disgust at the mere fact ofmy request and when poring my smoothie she did so in the most unsatisfying way possible throwing all over the cup.

Looking at recent reviews it's not going good to say the least. I admit that I did come in a few min before closing which I hardly ever do and apologize But I walked in and the guy held 2 fingers up saying "2 Mins before closing" and said it 3 times while uttering uhhhh, uhhh, uhh. "I don't know if I can do anything for you" the whole time. Didn't get his name but he had probably a giant ring for every finger and if there was a dress code, hes out of it. Customer service is the easiest thing to perform as well as the most important if you do it right. I gave a tip because I felt bad not because he deserved it. It's bad when an employee can not even do what is expected, much less go the extra mile for a customer. He couldn't even do the expectation.The review isn't exaggerated like some customers like to do.

Smoothie was good. However, I ordered the curbside pickup, and when I arrived, I waited in the only curbside parking spot for 20 mins after calling four times (spaced time b/w calls) with no answer before going inside to get my order. I do not mind walking in and getting my drink, but if curbside is an option to order, it should be possible to call the store when you arrive. There may be cases where a person may order curbside, such as older individuals, people with mobility and vision problems, parents with children in the car, etc., that order curbside for accessibility, ease, and eliminating barriers they may face to walking into the store. Some are able, like me, but others may not. I write this not because I am upset that I had to walk in but so that others who face the barriers I listed above may not share this same experience. Please be mindful of those you are serving and the obstacles they may face/why they might have ordered curbside.

I usually don’t leave bad reviews bc I get sometimes we just have bad days. My service here is normally fine but today, whoever was working 11/14/2020 4pm was so rude. She took my order then continued to leisurely clean the back counter (not where she was making my drink) I literally sat there for 3 minutes while she cleaned half the back counter and then decided she’d make my order.. I worked in service industry for 20 years, and even if you’re having a bad day.. you don’t make your customer wait while you’re doing side tasks :/

My experience with Smoothie King was great. Jalen had a smile on his face when you walk in something that you don't see offer now, I was treat like a customer he had me try the veggies smoothie and it was good. I went the next day and got the same veggies Smoothie. Jalen deserve a star and raise . Keep the good work up .

My second job ever when I was 16 was at Smoothie King. I’ve been ordering smoothies from the Vestavia location for at least 2 years now with no issues. Just this week on 2 separate occasions my smoothies had large pieces of plastic in one and today I found smaller pieces of plastic in my smoothie. This is unacceptable coming from a company that promotes a healthy lifestyle. There needs to be some kind of quality control on the products that are getting to consumers.

I hardly ever give a bad review. However, this situation is still bothering me so here goes. The customer service here is HORRIBLE. And the manager Tyler made my call-in complaint seem more like a call in for a coupon for a complimentary smoothie. I immediately mentioned to him, this is NOT that, your employee was rude. My son and I walked into this store and not once were we acknowledged. After the young lady at the register took the couple's order in front of us, she just walked away and began helping the other employee prepare orders. I was confused at this point but nevertheless we stood there waiting for her to return. Then the phone rang while we were standing at the counter, this same young lady stop helping prepare orders came and answered the phone standing right in front of us, never to acknowledge us and after the call, she went back to helping prepare orders. There was no, I'll be right with you, thanks for coming to Smoothie King. At this point I told my son we were leaving. I went to the car and called the number outside the door and asked for a manager, which Tyler answered stating he was the manager. I mentioned to him he must have been in back because there were only 2 visible employees in the store. I explained to him what had just happened and IMMEDIATELY he jumped to defend the rudeness of his employees stating, after 3 orders it's mandatory that employees help prepare orders, when the phone rings it's mandatory an employee answers the phone....it wasn't until I Repeated myself and stated WE WERE NEVER ACKNOWLEDGED. This is about CUSTOMER SERVICE. Being in this establishment on yesterday was like comparing Walmart to Publix or McDonald's to Chick Fil A...there is NONE. I will choose Quality over Quantity Anyday of the week. I would rather spend more money somewhere that knows how to treat their customers. To offer me a coupon after the back & forth was an insult. I don't need or want your coupon. Learn to Listen and Train Your Employees Better. There's a difference between an Average Manager and a Great Manager and it reflects through their employees.

My wife ordered two smoothies. The cashier took our name and the name was on the receipt. The first part of our order was given to the wrong person, because it was called out by type of drink. The second was call out by name. My wife said to the person making the drinks that one was missing. The person making the drinks said well I already called that one out 15 minutes ago. My wife replied well someone else took it. With a piss poor attitude the girl said ,"I said I was going to make you a new one. The person making the drinks had short hair and was heavy set. Not sure if it was a boy or a girl. That person needs to learn how to speak to customers.

Even though I showed the employees my history transaction where I purchased a smoothie from them using my points, they refused to acknowledge it and give me my smoithie. They called the manager Tylan and he was very very rude..cursed me on the phone. God will judge them. Worse experience and embarrassing. I wish I could post the picture of that transaction so everyone can see it. He told to to contact a 3rd party to get my points back because on their register it did not go through but on my app receipt it has there store address the amount everything he needed for evidence but Tylan refused me kindness and good customer service.

Lots to be said about "customer service". I walked into an empty store at 8:15pm and was told that after 8pm I could not place an order in person and had to use the app or place an order on the website. Had any other restaurant or store nearby been open I would have not ordered a thing from Smoothie King today or ever again. Its ridiculous to have a paying customer in the store only to send them away to make athe same purchase they were going to make in the store. Doesn't feel like Smoothie King wants my green dollars but in this economy I'm sure lots of other places that do.

Very nice staff, seems like they've improved their ingredient quality, and my favorite smoothie is the Peanut Power Plus - Strawberry. Love the free smoothies you get with rewards including one's birthday.

Please train staff to greet paying customers as they enter building , instead of trying to fix the register for 5 mins without an acknowledgment. It's rude to say the least. Do better.

First time for me. It was so SO good!! I ordered the strawberry lemon smoothie. My husband got a peanut butter chocolate banana smoothie with protein and he loved his. We both got large and it was $17. So good but very expensive!!!

Excellent and excellent. I am trying out this juicing and smoothie diet lol. But all seriousness it was great. The flavors were right on and none of them overwhelmed the others. I ordered the Lean1 Pineapple Mango and it was just right. I sub it for my lunch, it didnt hold me over which it wasn't supposed to be let's just say I will be having one with my dinner tonight.

My smoothie was made incorrect and the lady that made it had an attitude when I told her it was wrong . I drink the same smoothie everyday for the last five years so I know exactly what it should taste like, and what color it should be. Very disappointing

You would think since they have blenders, the smoothies would be evenly mixed up and not have a ton of chunks of powder in it. I cant eat solid food for a few days and this was what my lunch is and kind of hard to enjoy this with all the powder chunks . And even when I try to mix it up with my spoon I still cant get it all. Pretty annoyed .

I usually visit the 3056 Healthy Way #144, Vestavia Hills, AL 3524, smoothie king. I currently have discontinued patronizing here as the young man (teenager) that works on Fridays is unprofessional, lacks mannerism, and has no awareness for cleanliness and health policy in a food setting. The young guy rubs his hands through his hair and then prepares smoothies without washing his hands. This is, simply put.. GROSS!!!... In addition, when a customer walks into the store, the appropriate greeting is hello, or "welcome", not "what's up"!!!...It's apparent there is no leadership to coach and train him on Fridays. As a result of this, I wont be stoppong by this location any longer. If you hire inexperienced kids, have someone there that can coach and train him accordingly and not just have him work with someone who can't coach or mentor this kid.

I'm a HUGE fan of smoothie King. But this one has a man who knows his "smoothies" and "stuff"... you tell him what you like, he can tell you what you will want. You tell him what you feel, he will suggest the boost you need. You can even tell him your favorite go-to smoothie (like me) and he can suggest a "new" one that you may like even more!Go here!
