Been in there 2 times in the last week. Last time 7:45 tonight. Both times trying to get chicken. 3 days ago at 6pm, told no chicken breasts ,I would need to wait 25 mins. I left went to sonic, tonight wanted a chicken box , they were out of chicken wait 25 minutes.We left. New manager ain't cutting it.

I go there often & always enjoy it, especially the milkshakes. Went this evening, the milkshake wasn't stirred at all & it was really liquidity at the top. Also ordered 2 salads. The woman working the window handed me the milkshake & told me have a good day. Told her I had salads coming too & she laughed at me. Like I'm gonna pay that much for a milkshake, that wasn't even good. She don't know what she's doing. Think I'm staying away from there for a good while.

This location is so busy and food was okay, but it is the nastiest building. I was wondering if I'd get sick from my meal. Walking inside the dining area, the smell of garbage overwhelms you and the tables and chairs are sticky and filthy. Flies are everywhere and the restrooms are something from a horror movie. The Jack's company could make a lot of money cleaning this place up and training the staff for busy times. It's the closest food to the lake and I know people go there for a quick bite, but the wait is so long- it's hardly fast food.

Night before last, me & my son went to Jack's here in vernon & got the loaded chicken fingers & had the fries the same way. When we got home, there was very little cheese sauce on the chicken fingers & shreds of bacon on the fries, no cheese. Just a few minutes ago, we went back & I got em the same thing, ordered a 4 piece, checked it before we left & it was a 3 piece so I had to pull back around & go again. If I have to check our meals each & everytime we come to Jack's & go right back threw the line again, like normal, I won't be back. So far this year, that made the 5th time it's happened. I'm about decided to just start going somewhere else.

I use drive thru often but when it comes to getting fried chicken meals that the chicken taste awfully, no seasoning taste like old grease. Jack's one had the best chicken when they were seasoning it with spices. Green beans are nasty taste bad no seasoning . Chicken oil also over cooked

We ate breakfast at Jack's in Vernon, AL. The restaurant has been newly remodeled and looks good on the outside (except for the parking lot) but the inside was filthy. There were flies inside the ice cream freezer. We had a hard time finding a table that was decent enough for us to sit at. The bathroom was dirty and the urinal was stopped up. The lady that took our order was not at all friendly and acted as if she hated her job. Very disappointed and will not be back until we hear that changes have been made.Parking: Parking lot is filthy and needs re-paved.

I have never been a fan of, Jack's, but man was I missing out! Absolute best 'plain' hamburgers you can get. The fried chicken is really tasty but not with overseasoning, but with it having a more homemade taste. I an sad that I missed out a a kid, but I an definitely catching up.

There was only one car in front of us so I was happy. The woman asked my order I told her. You didn't hear anything else. I asked did you get my order. Silence for another 3 minutes. They got back on and repeated may I take your order. I told them the order again. Same thing happened. By this time I'm very upset so when she came on that time. I admit it I got rude. I yelled the order to her that time and asked did she get it that time. We got to the window and she was standing there looking crazy. My bf asked did she go to sleep or something. Fries were hot and fresh. Ended up with one of the two strawberry cream cheese pies I ordered. It was fresh and very good though. Got regular cheeseburgers and they were good but they could've been assembled better. It was a mess. Good thing I got more bread than meat.

Normally a good experience when I visit my mom and eat at one of my old stomping grounds. Tonight my son and I was greated with a rude server. She was too busy ordering people around and sniping at them. Then when she brought me my food, since everyone was busy talking, she threw at us. Had to pull up to side with no one else in behind us. Didn't tell me anything, when asked about an item , she very rudely replied it was in the bag. So ended up with cold ice cream in same bag as hot food. Come on... Plus being rude and unfriendly... I know it was late in evening but still no use acting like that.I hope next visit is better, it is one of things I like sharing with my family when we come to Lamar County.

Well, wife want some fried chicken. She was going to order a 20 piece with sides so she was going to call ahead and pick up through the drive thru but there is not a single employee employed at Jack's that can pick up the phone. We tried for 30 minutes, she would call then I would. Oh well, took my business somewhere else.

The cook in the back, tall gentleman dark-skinned. I believe his name was Brad did a very good job on the pairing my order making sure everything was right and made the proper way. He notice my concerns when I talked to the cashier. Thank you sir.

Never had Jack's before, was coming through this town and stopped here to grab some food! Everything was great, it was hott and delicious, Hubby really enjoyed his food and so did the kid definitely gonna have to come back next time we are in town again!

The food was fresh and chicken was good. I always remove the skin from chicken as a way to limit bad food choices. The green beans were extremely salty. After rinsing them with the water I'd ordered for drinking they were good. (Smh)The employees should work on attention to detail and improve listening skills as my order was incorrect. The chicken was really good😁, so it was worth the stop as we were traveling and super hungry!! Prior to ordering I always inquire if the food is fresh to alleviate wasting our hard earned money🤓

We have eaten here quiet often in the past, but after tonight, we won't be back. My wife has a sereve onion allergy and we always notify the staff/manager when placing our order. AGAIN tonight, we drive all the way back home to find our food has onions all of it. Not one sandwich, but both. This happens everytime we go. When placing the order we asked them to please change gloves and no contact with onions, was assured by a young lady (who didnt seem the allergy was important) that they change their gloves. Not once leaving to double check that request, now we realized that was never the case. The manager on duty never acknowledged us nor did he look professional enough to handle our request regarding the allergy. I understand the place gets/stays busy, but shouldn't every guest leave happy with their order? Feel safe knowing that their order was handled to the highest standards? Or that maybe when someone comes in with an allergy, the manager steps in and handles that food personally so its safe to eat?My wife has already been sent to the hospital once before due to negligence on behalf of an establishment, and we shouldn't have to worry about going back. If I could rate the any lower than 1 star, I would. You guys need to really work on educating your staff about allergies before they kill someone.

The food is always consistently good and the fries are always hot. Sometimes the drive thru attendant seem a bit irritable, but overall it's not that big of a deal.
