Great location for a family outing, date or solo trip! The property has a variety of activities for all age groups. The concession stand is also reasonably priced and served hot and fresh. Employees were courteous as well.We were able to enjoy most of the activities even with rain!

We went with my child's class on their field trip. They all had a wonderful time, and we enjoyed it so much. Great place for photos so make sure your prepared for that! They have several areas staged for great fall photos. They also have a concession stand that is very nice serving hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos, various types of things like that. They accept cards. Nothing but great things to be said.

My family were here last year, we enjoyed seeing the farms out here. Makes me miss Home back in Washington. We enjoyed the pumpkin patch, my mom got a gourd to dry out for a bottle or A ladle. When my family left I was left with 4 orange pumpkins to decorate with, which was nice. Good memories in October. The food was alright, but we loved their desserts, we had to get like 3 of those baked Oreo batter.Came back this year on Saturday for first fall season of the month. I think I need more of those large apple gourds, they’re giving me ogre apples vibes. Got some small orange gourds or pumpkin shaped like pears and I think they’ll look nice together. I did like 4 rounds walking around finding these and thinking about which ones to get, I really wanted white pumpkins but they weren’t mixing well with the palette.I would recommend to separate your pumpkins in prices if you’re getting a lot I’ve gotten my orange pumpkin mistaken for $10-12 when it was just $7. Might need a Way to mark some of the similar size/shape pumpkins so the pricing don’t get mixed up at checkout. Which is probably the annoying part, my family likes to put price on scotch tape.Edit : maybe consider colored tape or price dot stickers to separate the $2,$4,$7,$10 etc.

You have to spend the day at Penton Farms. What a fantastic area for family fun! At $10 a person you get to enjoy countless activities including tractor rides, pumpkin picking, a walk through the sunflower field, playing in the corn and patting baby goats. You can purchase already picked pumpkins at their store and enjoy a hotdog or burger as you lounge at their picnic tables in the covered area. Bring your family today!

They have several seasonal activities for the family, and each year they add something new to each. We went to the Pumpkin Patch today, and it was awesome! My kids loved it, and there was something for every age! I love the new sunflower fields, too. Beautiful picture ops and yummy funnel cakes to top it all off. I love making this a yearly tradition for our family.

Great place with lots to do. We normally go to a different patch every year and weren't sure about this place and activities but they have just as much and different things to do! Open enough to not feel like you're on top of each other but the stuff is all close enough together that it's not a long walk from one thing to another. Also, a feature I appreciated, was they have a walking path to the patch so if you don't want to ride the trailer, you can still participate in pumpkin picking. Very affordable, check them out!

We really enjoyed Penton Farms. Everyone was nice and helpful and the music made our day! The kids loved the slides and the petting zoo and we had to take our grandson kicking and screaming out of the Tot Track lol. He loved all the different tricycles! We thought maybe we'd come up for a couple of hours but we ended up staying 4 1/2 hours and were never bored. We'll definitely be back!

I've been to farms in New Jersey, California, and other places around the country. This is one was the best for families, hands down.1st reason, very reasonable pricing, $10s a head, includes nearly everything plus a pumpkin.2nd reason, If you have a 4 to 6 year old...they could play here ALL DAY. My 8 and 11 year had a great time too.3rd reason, pretty decide spread at the concessions, elephant ear and funnel cake?! wow.4th...clean out houses...how often does that happen?!Areas of improvement, hold the salt on the boiled peanuts! oh my lord they were salty. A cajun option would be nice. Stretch goal, although you'd have to be very careful about this to keep what you have, some mead or cider bar would be awesome.

Yesterday was our first time ever going to this pumpkin patch. We went with our daughters school. The farm itself was beautiful and very well taken care of. Everyone was nice and seemed excited for the classes to be there everyone except for one lady and I’m using the word lady very lightly. The one that was over the animals. This person is disgusting and rude. The way she treats the children Is unacceptable and Very unprofessional ! do not hand eight year olds, food, and then scream at them for feeding the animals the food you hand them !

It doesn't matter if their 2 or 10 noone should snatch a pumpkin from a child my baby was 2 years old she shouldn't have had a pumpkin snatched from her PERIOD! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!! Take them kids where there are kid friendly people like he said say u can say 2$ for the pumpkin on the way out instead of taking it from her. Thanks William for taking her today I'm glad it was y'all and not her daddy. 😂

Awesome pumpkin patch! Two corn maze, one big one and one for kids. Amazing, large play areas with plenty of swings, two corn pits, two huge slides. Smaller slides for little kids. And more! Good little selections for quick food and drinks. Tons and tons of beautiful pumpkins of all shapes, sizes, and colors!! And so much more! Definitely worth the little drive to Verbena, Alabama.

We did a field trip to the pumpkin patch and our classes loved it! They had multiple activities for the children like a corn maze, milk the game cow, animals, slide, corn pit, and so on. They also had really cute t-shirts for sale. Their decorations made great pictures as well. I can't wait to go again!

It'd a beautiful farm, with plenty to do for the kids. Tons of lovely pumpkins in various colors and sizes and priced to standard among other pumpkin patches.Would love to give a 5* but the staff are the farms are what brings Penton down to a 3. They are rude. You constantly feeled rushed and as if you're am inconvenience. Not a single smile seen. It really makes a difference.

We had such a good time there, the kids could have camped there for a week! It's a fantastic time for all ages with so many things to do, I think we only did half of them. Oh well, guess we'll have to go back again!

I was pleasantly surprised by the sheer size of Penton Farms. There were so many activities scattered around the sprawling grounds. Eclectic Elementary School visited the Pumpkin Patch today and they had a blast! The kids didn’t know what they liked best. The corn maze, wagon rides, slides or being able to pick out their very own pumpkin! CLEAN- With a Great snack bar(You have to try the deep fried cookie dough)clean restrooms, oh and I almost forgot they have an animal barn. The kids get to interact, feed and learn about so many different types of animals that live on the farm. It’s perfect for a special family outing with the kids!
