The emplyees here are so friendly and willing to be of assistance. It makes it such a pleasure to shop here when I'm not hassled or rushed. Service is reassuringly quick, so I never have to worry about a long wait. There's always clearance and items on sale... A very long assorted variety of items included to that list also. I was and am completely pleased every time I visit to shop here. It stops me from driving all the way to the next town for items; which is convenient and helpful. I would recommend anyone who doesn't already know to shop here!

I LOVE THIS STORE! Management is amazing, stock is always neat and full. IF they are out of something, which is rare, they put a sign there so you KNOW.Workers are friendly and always helpful. Store is clean and, unless rude ppl with no manners and wild children come in, the shelves are neat and everything is where it belongs.

Hands down my favorite DG store. Always clean, organized and we'll stocked. The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. I absolutely abhor shopping, but I actually really enjoy going to this Dollar General.

Love this store! It’s convenient in our small one horse town. Love the prices and their makeup selection. Highly recommend going there. It’s nice to see friendly faces of the staff. They always welcome you to the store. Very clean and organized.

Love DG just be careful if you use digital coupons make sure u tell the cashier before they ring your items up I did didn't realize my coupons wasn't applied until I got home. I filled out customer service online put my register receipt information and everything they responded only telling me to make sure I tell the cashier before they ring my items up..In which I did....so nothing I wasted my time even filling out the complaint....

I like this store mostly because it's the last DG before I reach my mother's home, partly be ause I just love DG in a general sense. I can only give three stars for the lack of organization and properly stocked items. Employees are always kind and ample.

The Verbena Alabama store is ALWAYS CLEAN AND ORGANIZED. Very friendly employees, they greet you warmly. they know every inch of the store meaning they know exactly where the merchandise is and if it is out of stock.

New Store for a big- little town. Nice selection of merchandise, big enough for quick last minute pickups. So Happy they opened one here finally... Went to visit Friends for Thanksgiving and I forgot to purchase baking soda to make corn bread and desserts.. . I had seen the new store on the way there, so I went and was in and out in 5 minutes. The employees are awesome & very Courteous staff, whom were very helpful. I'm happy that whomever it was who realized that verbena needed a store and made the investment.... It's in a very convenient location, right across from the post office and fire department, which is in the corner of 31 and the road that takes you to exit 200 where you would take to get on interstate 65 N & 65 S, only a few minutes away from the house and the convenient location saved me gas, since the nearest stores are in clanton, which is 20 minutes away.Very rural and country. Our house has a dirt road... LOL.... and its Deer Season!!! P.s. PLEASE wear ORANGE when taking a walk.. LMBOLOVE IT.

As a resident of Verbena, I was very happy to see Dollar General move into the area. This store is managed well. Always stocked, and clean. This is a huge asset to our community because the nearest grocer for residents is 20 minutes away.

Convenient!!!!This location Has Everything you need for those last minute "Oooppps! I forgot to buy" & great prices.Wonderful Staff!!! Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.I no longer have to drive 35 min into town just to pick up dry goods.Its my milk, cheese and cereal go to.Great Veriety!They have fresh fruit some time like water melon and bananas.Of course everyone knows they do not sell fresh produce. Go to town for that.But they do have a freezer full of meats, pizzas, dairy. Canned goods- yup get your veggies in a can. Joke. There's asperagus, peas, mix vegis and corn. Beans of ever type. Tuna, chicken, stews and soups.Snacks snacks and more snacks!!!CHOCOLATE... Candy, ice cream,Cookies, chips, Starbucks, energy drinks, Beer and coffee and Juice... BEER....LoL.. cigs and tobacoo(I am guilty for buying all the Flour Tortillas, Cheese and Jalepenos)Make a mess? grab some cleaning stuff and laundry stuff and don't forget your toilet paper, air freshener and bath supplies... and grab some new clothes and shoes.Party decorations, Lawn and Yard stuff. Nicnacks and candles. Pool stuff, bbq stuff, propane and a Flagg and might as well get new home decor, curtains and towels. Grab a lawn chair or two...All the shampoo, conditioner, soap and makeup and baby supplies and diapers you need.And Don't for get the BUG SPRAY!!!!Only good pesty bug is a dead one.

Conveniently located and with competitive prices, Dollar General is a real life-saver for those who wish to avoid Wal-Mart without spending exorbitant prices. The only drawback is that some items are either temporary or are only rarely restocked.

The Verbena Dollar General is 20 minutes further away than my local DG and I'm willing to make that drive. It's bigger, more well stock, and CLEANER.
