Strongly prefer to address issues directly with store management. But, after having tried to call the store 7x over 2 days, sadly an online review is the only option since I do not live in the area.Very frustrating shopping experience. Attempted to pay cash for purchase, but Sunday late afternoon on 6/5/22, the cashier/manager (young female) questioned currency as counterfeit. Used a counterfeit pen to "confirm". Wrote "Bad" in Sharpie across the bill, including a large X across the front of the bill. Bank advised there were no issues with the bill, it is valid currency, but an older issue date that caused counterfeit pen to alert as invalid.Dollar General employee defaced currency, which is not the policy of any retail establishment. Her actions caused embarrassment, notable stress and a tremendous waste of customer's time.

Went in there last week. The manager was very helpful. She was polite and very helpful in helping us. Store has came along way since the new manager took over . Hope she's there to stay . Because of her I will make this my go to dg again .

Well, I went in the store, very hot! Had to pick stuff up off the floor just to get through. Place is a mess. Odds and end just laying around. The guy working there was walking around the store. You would think he could put stuff back in place. He was on the clock to work, not me! I can say I will never stop in there again. They should be ashamed. ! Lafayette has a great store, as well as huguley and Fairfax. So what is the deal here.

Employees were fine and helpful. The store itself could use a rehaul. Everything out of order. Bathroom was nasty and smelly. A lot of stock in back by bathroom.

Can find some great deals here but the entrance of the store needs to decluttered majorly bad *there's to much clutter there once you enter the store* not easy for the handicapped customers to maneuver around.
