I am a frequent shopper at Dollar General, and I have always had a good experience. The stores are clean and well-organized, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I especially like that Dollar General has a wide variety of products to choose from, including food, household items, and health products.

Never seen a DG with fresh produce except this one, more should have it.Bathroom is always broken! I stop here on motorcycle rides for a couple years now and bathroom has NEVER been operational. Will find a new place to give my business.

I visited dollar general because it was the only public bathroom at a fork in the road outside(about 6 miles) of Mooresville, Alabama (population 6,519). I tried the gas station first but they said "absolutely not" and pointed across the street to the Dollar General where the parking lot was pretty full but the store was empty EXCEPT for the customer (who locked herself in the bathroom for a good twenty minutes while I waited) and one cashier. So I did what anyone in my situation would've done...the "peepee" dance(which by the way, is the ONLY dance I've mastered) while perusing a rack of marked down and date expired chips, candy and six dollar sunglasses. Finally! She comes out...I'm dying here. What does she do? Slams the door shut behind her...locking me out. I yell to the cashier "it's locked!!!". She yells back "the key is on that balloon over there". Frantically I'm looking around for a balloon with a key, which to my surprise was a helium balloon floating up near the ceiling sort of floating around the store. Chasing it, I'm finally I'm able to grab it, while dancing. I get the door unlocked, and made a quick decision to re-release it out into the store. The bathroom was disgusting as you might imagine...being the only public bathroom for miles, but the worst part is that the woman who had taken 20 minutes... well, I think she...well I really can't say, but I have never seen as much chewed up toilet paper in my life (like a gerbil cage) So no, I would not recommend this dollar general and would recommend using the bathroom about 19 miles back. I'm giving the store a generous three stars because I didn't buy anything.

No hours posted on the door. If hours differ from other dollar generals in the area then hours should definitely stay posted. Store closed at 9 p.m. instead of 10 p.m.

I'm always in a dang dollar general store. It's closer than Walmart in a hurry. But they don't sell something you may won't.

I wish EVERY Dollar General was this well stocked and as clean as the one in Uriah, Alabama. Very nice store.

DG is the place to go in Uriah, Al. They have what you need and don't have to go to the big stores.
