I’m a city girl but I love this store! Not only do they have a great garden section, they also have great prices on all the major brands of dog food - and all the other critters you may have like rabbits, horses, cows, etc. and did I mention Baby Chicks and Ducklings? They sell out fast in the spring but they restock. I love to stop by just to look at them!Along with pet stock, there are also work clothes, rubber boots, tools, and so much more under one roof! Block out some time and come check it out!

I'm editing this review by adding one star. This location has improved, and by my last two visits, is on the right trajectory. It still has a ways to go, though. The Northport location has Tuscaloosa location beat, hands down. The staff is friendly (they actually smile), attentive and the store more presentable. Still though - I see the improvement and want to note it.----original review---Horribly managed. Messy. Uninspired (most of them) employees. Stocking issues.That pretty much sums it up.It's a pity, because I love TSC.Numerous times I have found aisles to be completely blocked by boxes, or an entire pallet of inventory just sitting there. Sometimes this inventory will sit for days before being dealt with. The store lacks organization, and is often just plain ole messy. Finding packages opened up with pieces/parts missing is commonplace, so theft is apparently an issue.I would recommend not wasting your time here - if you're a customer that cares about such things. Do like me, and when I need something from TSC, I go out of my way to go to the Northport location on 82. Very clean, organized with interested employees.See attached photos from a frustrating visit in the spring of '19.

I love this store and I come here most of the time because I love seeing Angela! She always greets you with a smile as soon as you walk inside the door, always helps you with anything and most importantly she acts like she’s happy to be there!

Just left tractor supply in Tuscaloosa highway 69 south and have two propane tanks to be filled. How do you have employees working at the store and no one is available to refill the tanks. No one authorized or passed the course to refill a propane tank. Just lost a loyal customer tractor supply.

I have to say this location instantly gave me bad vibes. I entered the location no one greeted me. I then searched the store for boots. I asked an associate for assistance, whom I later found was the store manager Regina ( I did a quick glance at the name tag so excuse me if I’ve butchered it. ) I informed her I was looking for boots and she responded their in the clothing section in such a way as if that was obvious. I asked where was the clothing section and she informed me that it was in the front. Her tone was as if she was annoyed by my need for assistance. I would not have known she was the manager if it wasn’t for a customer incident she was handling up front. This was my first experience visiting this location and I will not go again. As someone with previous experience as a general manager I found her tone to be very rude and condescending. As a manger you should be so pleasant that you are unforgettable. I also feel the incident that she was later handling could have been handled much better.As a manger whatever tone you set in your store your staff are sure to follow.I could definitely see it happening there.On the other hand, I was assisted by a lovely young man on today whose name I did not get. He had to be the friendliest of the entire staff. I would give him 100 stars alone. He was the one good apple out of the bunch.

Love tractor supply they always have everything I need and more and you always get a good price and a lot of times you’ll get a super good deal on what they have on clearance. If do any kind of work at all you go there first

Jessica has been super helpful with everything when I come in especially when it comes to equine products!! My big guy has been doing so well with the feed she recommends and supplements. Not to mention her and Yahsha were SUPER helpful with loading everything I got. Love this place❤️Too bad they decided to let her go, she was definitely a big contributor to that store for years.To NP we go!😀

We have pigs, donkeys, chickens, goats, rabbits and dogs so I love how they have everything I need and I only have to make one stop. This location has a very friendly and helpful staff!

Probably the best ever tractor supply I have been in,. In any state. Enjoyed my conversation with two gentleman who I am ashamed that I can't remember their names, but I will return and visit with them again. I wish every store had employees like those two.

Staff were pleasant. I needed help loading dog food due to a rotator cuff surgery. The employee was very helpful and had an awesome attitude. He assisted as if he was happy to assist. This is the difference between average customer service and awesome customer service. I'm very pleased. We shop here frequently and will continue to do so as long as people like him are employed here.

I always have people asking me if I need help and someone always puts my stuff in the car with a smile on their face and tells me to have a nice day! I always feel bad about asking people in stores to help me because I know they are busy but they act like they are glad to help! I want to say Kevin is a very nice man!

We go for lawn and tractor supplies, garden decor, clothing and toys for the Grands... and there's so much more! This place has a bit of everything and it's fun to shop. Quality products. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Ample parking with short, level walk to store. Easy to enter/exit.

If I could rate this store ZERO stars I would. Nobody knows about their products, what they have in stock etc. Moriah is the cashier and she was very disrespectful and the old white dude with long hair was disrespectful. Would not recommend this place to anyone

I'VE Been there 3 Weeks in a row to buy 50 lb.s Paws& Claws clupping unscented cat liter off Hwy 69 S. Now I understand once maybe twice, but three times is not unacceptable. They could at VERY LEAST offered me a substitute for a the same price as what I needed or at VERY LEAST offered me A discount on a substitute of equal amount. I was told they had it in the 35lb bucket. I have four cats it is cheaper in the 50lb bag. I live on hwy 82 east . So .... JUST SAYIN'

I used to be impressed with this store. I'm not anymore and won't go back. I purchased six items online only to be told when I went to pick them up that only two were available. I'm still waiting for my money to be returned to my account for the six. I drove to Bessemer to get what I needed. The staff member at the Northport store was honest enough to tell me they didn't have what I needed.

I live on the south side of town so I usually go here for convenience but the Northport tractor supply is my preferred choice. The staff here isn’t as friendly but they usually have what I need so it’s hard to complain. The Northport one also usually has more of the livestock related supplies.

Made an online order at the Tuscaloosa tractor supply of dog food cat food and cat litter paid for it and went and picked it up . And two days later they canceled my order saying I never picked it up even tho I did canceled my payment. Got a call from I guess the manager saying I didnt pay for my stuff even tho I did the first time and it's there fault. Why would they give me my stuff if I didnt pay for it ?

I buy from Tractor Supply fairly often. Mostly stuff to feed the deer plus today I got a 50# sack of floating catfish feed for the bream in our pond. I like to buy here because they will gather and load my stuff which I need that because of my heart. A bonus today . . . I had a 10% Neighbor's Club discount coupon which saved me over $10.

Bessemer Al store way better with customer care and services period,this store they act as if ur in way more than anything at all,go to Bessemer Alabama store and see the difference people,they actually care about you and will have what you need period...... God bless you so much

I like what Tractor Supply offers and the people are very helpful I only wish that they had more forecast on their baby chicks and if they had the ability to order or offer more variety possibly ducks and geese

the communityHorrible service, stood outside for 30+ mins didn't get any help loading our order of hey. The worker looked at us waved and went back inside. We ended up loading the hey ourselves. Not how you are supposed to be

We made a 35 Mile trip to the store to pick up items that we had checked online to be sure they were in stock. We paid for the items and went to the yard to pick them up (cattle panels), only to be told that they couldn't find them.
