My husband bought the Valentine’s Day meal and we LOVED it! We got the filets and they were great quality. Even the directions that were enclosed were perfect! We did everything according to the directions and it was amazing! The steamed asparagus and the potatoes were the perfect accompaniment! Can’t thank you enough for this wonderful meal! The staff in our local Fresh Market are definitely the best!!

Everything was great except the cashier… she was apparently not in a good mood. Other employees were helpful and friendly though. I could spend all night smelling the different coffee bins… scrumptious!

It's a slightly more high-end grocery store than I normally shop at, but you can get some high quality food here and several things that are not readily available at normal grocery stores. To give you an idea of the prices, some of the at-the-counter candy can range drastically from a pretty average $2 to almost $11 for a chocolate bar. It's high quality stuff though! I also really appreciate their ready to eat or ready to reheat meal options that are available and the large selection of cheeses and fruit. This is a place that I would go to for a splurge.

This store is beautifully laid out, well lit, and carries a nice selection of produce, cheeses, and dessert items. All the Fresh Markets are pretty much laid out the same way, isle for Isle. I found good things to take with me for lunch and an early dinner for work tomorrow. One star off for the higher prices.

Updated review. Previously, I thought the place was fine, like any other Fresh Market we've been to in other towns. They don't always have in-stock what online says they have in-stock, and instead, carry off-brand substitutes - something to keep in mind with curbside service. Nice layout, usually nice workers.This Fresh Market doesn't always sell fresh items as the name would indicate. Several items on the shelf were well past their "sell by" dates. Not "best by", but "sell by."At least a dozen rotisserie chickens they put out early in the morning were still sitting under the heat lamps at 6pm alongside chickens they put out around 5pm.They probably presume college kids won't be looking at the dates/times, and they're probably right. For everyone else, though, you may want to look twice. For the prices they charge, you'd think they'd do a better job in keeping with their namesake.Recently, I went in to buy two avocados among other things. They weren't individually/weight priced, which is a big no-no in retail produce. However, they were running a special where a bag of four were 2 for $10 (which should be $5 each bag, right?). So, if they were $5 for a bag of 4, wouldn't that mean they should be $1.25 each if NO OTHER PRICING is displayed? I even walked the cashier to the display of all the individual avocados and politely asked her to tell me the price for the individual avocados. She couldn't. She said the sale was only if you bought a bag of 4, and held to that. Rather than ask for a manager, I just let it go, paid $2.50 for each avocado because I was already there, and then was rewarded to find both were bad when we got home.Next time, manager, then police for trying to sell unpriced items. If you've ever worked/managed retail, you know it's a thing.As with most establishments in this town, once management starts to slip, things go downhill quickly and there is little incentive to stop the trend, or improve it. Most folks would agree there is a higher expectation from Fresh Market when factoring in the premium price of things. The question, then, is whether the premium price for sub-par high-end products is worth the convenience of the buying location. I'll probably still go here for items I can't find anywhere else, and are less likely to be out-of-date. But, for everything else, I'll drive a little longer and pay a little less for actual "fresh" food.

Its nice, feels fancy. Fancy prices but less generic items. I do enjoy their sushi, but its so popular if you get there after the chef leaves you won't find what you prefer, and you'll be one of the 100 faces that either settles or passes on what's there. I mean, that's a good thing. Food is good, but it's gone fast.

1st time visit.Have riding carts,handicapped parking.Store stocked to max.Deli has anything you want,hot and cold case.Meats show cased you pick out what you want.Some seasoned in pans.Pizza cooked on site.Each area have someone working.No waiting at register.Interesting store.Was in there a min.looking.Only thing items a little more pricy than couple stores I shop.Enjoyed it.

More expensive than Whole Foods but I have to settle for The Fresh Market.Update: I am an avid and ongoing shopper of the Fresh Market. I have fallen in love with the exceptional customer service, friendly staff and fresh produce and seafood options. I want to highlight one Fresh Market team member “Justin” who always seems to know exactly where everything is. Not only does he tell you where to find your item but he physically guides you and put the item in your hand. “Is this the item you are looking for ma’am?” He is a pleasant and knowledgeable team member and that’s why I will continue to shop at Fresh Market. Thank you Justin for going above and beyond for your customers. You are sensational!

Their rotisserie chicken is super flavorful! They must marinate it. At only $6, it is a delicious and affordable fast dinner option. We have also enjoyed the fresh sushi there, as well. The bakery offers a variety of appealing and tasty treats. This is one of the few places nearby, where one may buy actual bran muffins. They even have a few gluten free choices. Absolutely every employee is friendly and helpful.

Recent trip here was even more delightful then the last. This season is especially one that I am fond of because of the Fall Items. As always the store was clean and well stocked and kept up good. Employees were friendly. Bree help me find a bakery item I was looking for and she was very nice. Denise in the Deli helped me get some items that was recommended by a friend and she was nice too, and Kaya was sweet to help me in the coffee section and check me out. Over all other than some of the items are very pricey, it’s a great place to shop at and to get what is needed for your everyday needs. I especially love the coffee, wine, and candy sections.

They are not very expensive. Here's why: I bought a half pound boneless rib eye steak for around $7. In comparison, I have never seen such great marble at Publix, and a comparable rib eye steak will cost $5-10. I bought cupcakes as well, which were way better than the Publix bakery. Definitely going back and highly recommended.

THe customer service is excellent, BUT the bar is actually COLD and you need a microwave in order to make it edible, if you’re just visiting, I wouldn’t suggest getting it and I also threw my plate away since it’s REALLY BAR when it’s cold

Just bought some Visa Gift Cards for my daughters teachers for teachers appreciation week from Fresh Market and payed $6.95 per card on activation fee. This is insane!!! Could not give them back. No information on this on the card or anywhere else. Really annoying!

Wonderful health food market. Deli, bakery, meat Dep, this store has it all. So many coffees to choose from. Even with so many bulk products it is still pricy. But what's good healthy organic food worth ? I did only give 4☆ because the staff was not that friendly and seemed irritated when we ask for help.

Love Fresh Market. It's a great shopping experience each time I visit. Today we bought organic autumn squash soup and some pepitas to do our own knock off of the Panera Bread item. Everyone in every FM dept is always knowledgeable and friendly.

The store is extra clean and products look fresh. But as a senior citizen, the prices are not within my budget even with the sale items. If you use SNAP, this may not be the best place to stretch your grocery dollars.

Bought expensive items I normally wouldn't because it said bogo. At register they don't make it easy to see what's ringing up, the screen is far away and turned away from the customer. I always try to watch for wrong prices at the register. The lady was friendly, but fast. When I got home I checked the receipt and I paid twice for the items I'd have never even considered unless it was bogo. I'm busy and don't have an hour to spend returning. I feel ripped off, though, and it will be quite some time before I'll return because of this. The register price needs to match the price on the shelf. That's a must in my book. This is not the first time by any means at this store, but normally I can catch it. I'm right over 99% of these challenges.

Friendly staff. Great meat selection. Like that it is fresh daily and you can see the meat packaged as you order it. Also have some great gift ideas. Deli service was great. Like 1/4 pound serving size options. Some of the items looked a little dried out. Would like to see fresh seafood. Don't like the taste of previously frozen.

They have everything you could ever need here! What sets this store apart from others is the quality and freshness. Not to mention the service! This is pretty much the only place I'll buy fresh seafood in Tuscaloosa. It's very comforting in here. Always clean too! They have a good international section as well for buying different sauces and what not. Incredible wine and beer selection as well!Bonus points for this store because my now-husband and I met as customers here over three years ago. Thanks, Fresh Market!

The place for specialty gifts and all right inside the front door!! Gift cards, kitchen items/gadgets, fresh flowers, beautiful pre-made gift baskets along with all kinds of greeting cards, bags, tissue paper, bows & gift wrap. Everything you need to come up with a unique gift for someone special! Found my husband a pop up card that played a really beautiful brass rendition of happy birthday! Also some Italian expresso. Great selection of coffees from all over.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!! A truly unique shopping experience compared to other grocery stores in Tuscaloosa. They carry a great selection of vegan, vegetarian, and organic products you'll not find anywhere else in town. They have fresh, healthy meals and sides that are made daily in store. There are always amazing samples of new products and combinations of things you might not have thought of to try together. The staff is super friendly and helpful without hovering. They go out of their way to make sure you find what you are looking for and are always willing to recommend great new products and recipes. It's such a pleasure to shop here!

If you want fresh veggies, exotic food from out of the region, vegan food, gluten free, coffee beans to grind, gelato, a yule log cake or other hard to find foods, this is the place to go. I enjoy getting veggies for dinner, fancy flavored breads or cupcakes, seaweed chips and other food I enjoyed from other states here. The employees are helpful and nice too. Its a great place to shop. The only down side is the prices of everything. You can find good prices but they are all more than my budget can usually afford. I dream of the day I could afford to make a fresh salad from their salad bar, or bring home a cheese wheel to enjoy. 'Sigh'... If only and all that🤗

Wonderful shopping experience. They have organic foods and everything is freshly made daily. They have a variety of cultured foods and workers. Nice and friendly atmosphere. A little on the pricey side..but you get what you pay for..right? They also except Bama cash and EBT! Also their employee enjoy a 30% discount. Sounds like a great place to work!
