Have used this vet office since doctor Ramey was here. Went to order flea and tick stuff for my dogs and found a better price on chewy got a call this morning that they couldn’t fill it unless I paid five dollars since I chose not to order from them, also the fact that they don’t let you come in with your pets anymore. We’ve decided to find another veterinarian . Very sad about this Todd has always be very nice but things have really changed lately.

I called over the weekend and spoke to whoever answers the phone after hours. Emergi pet was not being helpful (they’ve also misdiagnosed my dog before and had me paying for things I didn’t need,) and I wanted to talk to who has been seeing my dog for over a year now. I was told they were leaving a message with the on call team member, and I would receive a call back soon. All I needed to ask was a simple yes or no question. It is Monday and I have yet to receive a call back! Luckily my dog is fine, but I will not be bringing my pet back here. Years ago this place was the best, but it just isn’t the same anymore

Moved here from out of state ~1.5 years ago and have been having our older dog (11 years) and newer dog (~3 years but we adopted him off the streets) seen by Dr. Askew and his staff and couldn't be happier. Scheduling is never an issue, they are up front and honest about what needs to be done to ensure proper care for your pets. Just a great all-around practice.

They performed the spayed surgery on my lil baby holly. They did a very good job and the incision is very small considering shes had a few litters. Holly had sone swelling on the 3rd day which caused her a good amount of pain. When I called them we talked about what was going on with her and I sent pictures of her so we wouldn't have to move her. They got me the necessary meds to help her heal painlessly.

I have been a client of Ramey Veterinary Hospital for over ten years and have been very pleased. Dr. Askew is not only a good doctor but he is a great person. He takes the time to genuinely address any questions or concerns you have. The vet techs are always friendly and kind to the animals. Finally, the prices are very reasonable. I have no complaints!

They are so helpful and professional. I’ve had so many vet offices treat my American Bulldog poorly, where they roughly handle her all because she’s a medium/large sized dog despite her not doing a single thing BUT Ramey Veterinary Hospital does no such thing. They’re always very caring with my dog and they’re so supportive. They informally referred me to a dog optometrist a few months back and when the optometrist needed a formal referral, they had no problem giving it. They were so patient and understanding every time with everything. Best vet I’ve found down here.

These people care so much about your animals and they will do whatever they can to help. When i boarded my dog with them, he wouldn’t eat the food I sent because he didn’t like one of the flavors. Or of the vets went through and picked all of that bad flavor out for him. They are amazing at what they do.

Interesting approach.. I have an elderly dog that has an incurable disease. I've been through elderly dogs with cancer and liver failure. I am researching vets to inquire about services they provide. I am new to the area but not to humanly helping elderly dogs. This location requires an office visit before talking about "options". That might be nice for some.

As of July 24, 2023 this clinic is still making you wait in the car while your pet is being treated. I do not trust anyone with my pet enough to drop them off like that. Just thought others might want to be aware of this.

I spoke with Kimberly this morning, and she was very apathetic and unhelpful. So rude! She rushed me while I was trying to explain my situation. She put me on hold multiple times for several minutes at a time. I called back, and she did it again. She had a horrible attitude. My mother and I bring our cats here because they're close to our house. Usually, we have no issues aside from talking with this Grinch. Looks like we will be looking for a new vetenarian if we can not even get help from the one we already go to. Horrible experience.

The best vet in the business!! So grateful I found Dr. Todd Askew after I moved to town over 13 years ago. He has taken care of every animal I've had since then including fosters and hurt animals I've found on the road. Cannot recommend him highly enough!!! And his office manager Jennifer I trust with each and every one of my fur kids. Elizabeth and Sam are great too!

Totally mishandled my dog. I did not follow those “curbside” rules and saw first hand. Had to deal with the repercussions of askew not doing his job and lying about doing my dogs vaccine. I wouldn’t take an injured snail to this so called vet. He’s also ran off everyone good in his office that actually knew what they were doing and were good with pets.

if you are a category 5 nervous wreck when it comes to your fur babies like i am, ramey veterinary hospital is the vet for you! my kitten was not acting like herself and they were able to squeeze her in so fast. they went above and beyond to ease my anxieties about my poor louise. very fair pricing and they are so compassionate! you can tell they care about your pets and that you aren’t just another customer to them. i am so glad that i found them and decided to bring my baby there!

Took both my furbabies today for their first visit with Ramey Vet. We needed to transfer to a vet closer to our home because one of my dogs does not travel well. Ramey Vet was highly recommended by several people. I am now one to highly recommend them. My appointment was at 9:30, for our 2 dogs and I was leaving at 9:55. The staff were so very nice. These folks are so nice! They take excellent care of my cats. Dr Askew is very nice and always makes sure to explain every procedure and all medicine. His staff are all awesome and super friendly! Very reasonable prices also. I wouldn’t take my babies anywhere else. I highly recommend them!
