This is our go to place when we need a few things quickly here in Trussville because it’s just a few blocks from our house. And you don’t have to wait in line long to get checked out. We buy the majority of our items from Walmart in Trussville, because it supposedly cheaper, but it is a pain to shop there. We buy the vast majority of our fruits and vegetables from Publix were I think the quality is the best.I don’t know how their fried chicken the prepared and cooked differently - but WINN-DIXIE HAS THE BEST FRIED CHICKEN IN TRUSSVILLE, BAR NONE1

For the most part, the service is great. The people are friendly. I was treated rudely by an employee. I was asking someone in deli about a product when she went to ask another person the person in bakery got angry that she was "interrupting her conversation." I refuse to shop from the bakery.

Good offerings in the delicatessen, although it can be kind of expensive. I had the hot bar which is by the pound, and I picked up some chicken wings. The chicken wings have a great flavor to them and different varieties

We shop here primarily for the pharmacy but the store is always a good place to shop as well. The produce is always fresh which is a huge bonus. Only issue is not enough cashiers when it is busy, I prefer actual cashiers above using the self check since I wasn't hired to work there.

Use to shop here a long time ago and I was looking for some cube steak for my husband has went to several stores and went there and they had some I cooked it and it was delicious !! So I have decided to start shopping here from now on !!! The store is so clean and employees are so nice !! On Tuesday they have sales so that's when I'll be shopping I also bought some pork chops buy one pack get another free my husband was really happy with that they had a Buffett and it has a little bit of everything I started to get a plate but I had to cook but when I go back I'm getting me a plate !!

What a great place to buy groceries! It was an extremely cozy atmosphere in the store and the customer service representative was so nice helping with our receipt problems to gain bonus points for their store discounts! The fresh fruit and vegetables section was also very inviting! I couldn't believe the size of the tomatoes and nectarines that we purchased! Prices were low and such a great selection too.

Ordered food via INSTACART and had till 8pm to pick order up. Well the instacart person left before I arrived shortly after 7, so after waiting 10 after alerting them to my arrival to only be told to come inside rudely by the staff, who ultimately hung up on me refusing to fulfill the curbside order because it's not their job. Won't be going back. Never had any other store I've shopped at using instacart be that rude or not going out of their way to fulfill the order.

Pharmacy. I had the greatest experience with the pharmacy. They reduced my prescription from 662 to almost nothing by knowing how my insurance works. I wouldn't use another pharmacy.

Clean store with open aisles. Produce section was nice, if not real large. Lines were short in the middle of the afternoon. Twice had to ask staff for the location of an unusual item, and they gave me perfect and prompt directions. Was 9nly buying a couple of items, so I wasn't able to compare prices.

I didn't get his name, but the young black man who was on the register was super sweet. I didn't have any problem in the store at all, but was just kind of in a bad mood, and it was like he picked up on it and decided to make me smile. He succeeded. I wish I'd taken note of his name tag, because he was delightful.

The store usually has good produce and the meat department has some great stuff. They have a large food bar which I have never used but I hear people say how good it is. The staff is friendly. Prices in some things seem a little high but the store almost always has great bogos. You do have to have one of their "reward cards" but it's free and you can save a significant amount if you watch the sales. The store is older but usually pretty clean and well stocked.
