I went in Home Depot three days in a row. An Associate name Toni was helping me with bolts and screws in Hardware. One day I got wrong size screw and the second day I came back but Toni was there to help no matter what . She had a humble altitude and did not rush me when I ask Questions. She went upbove and beyond to help me find the right size screws for the crib. Tell Toni I finished the crib thanks to her. I offer her money but she refused to take it. Tell her thanks

Interviewed at this location for a part-time job (I already have a full-time). Not an issue that they couldn't accommodate my religious holy day once a week, but they are very unprofessional. I stated my availability in my first interview and they said my schedule wouldn't work, but that they had ANOTHER position that would fit my religious accommodation. So at that point, I was requested to come in for a second interview for a DIFFERENT position. They then told me that my availability would not fit the schedule of the second position. My availability did NOT change from one interview to the next, so why was I called in for a second interview when they ALREADY knew that? Not to mention, I waited 20 minutes for my second interview, all while the interviewer saw me as soon as I arrived. If an interviewee is expected to arrive on time, why isn't management expected to start the interview on time?

Like the other big box stores, Home Depot has it just about everything you would need for your home, yard, and garden. The problem is that they hire so few employees to run their huge stores that help is hard to find when you need it. And you will probably need help often because with the vast array of products that they sell, finding what you need in that big store is very difficult. Some the employees are very helpful, but others - not so much. Many of the employees, especially the younger ones, don’t know where the products are anymore than you do and are too lazy to look them up on the electronic devices. I have been directed to the wrong aisle servers l times . Frankly I now buy everything I can at the new Ace Hardware down the on Highway 11 where employees ar standing near the door ready to guide you directly to the products you need and help you in anyway possible. Ace may be a bit more expensive, I don’t know that for sure because I haven’t checked, but even if they are, it is worth no not having to deal with the hassle involved in going to Home Depot.

The grounds were clean. It was easy to park. HD seemed to be expecting spring and was getting ready for it. Things were tagged and easy to find. Personnel were nice and helpful.

Stopped by today and was looking for two things. I was helped by Ms Rendy and her customer service was top tier. I ended up not needing one of the two items because of her help. I'll definitely come back to this location.

They have a line of 10+ customers with 2 Self Check Outs open, and one won't accept cards. Staff just standing there. No management is concerned at all. After over 10 min in line, I decided to go to Lowe's. This is truly UNACCEPTABLE to any paying customer. GOD forbid a cashier actually taking the time to ring someone up.Hello to Lowe's.

We bought a dishwasher The installation is the worst opened the door and it fell over in the floor and they chipped our countertop.The second time the we’re supposed to fix it they didn’t bring tools the third time we were supposed to be on a list can’t even find out what time they are coming. Do your self a favor and stay away from Home Depot I am filling a complaint with the BBB

Home Depot is just okay. I bought several items to redo my bathroom, but I ended up going to Lowe's to finish my shopping. Probably could have started at Lowe's because they had everything I needed, a more organized plumbing section, roughly the same prices, and better parking.

Just bought this thing. It was in a box. Couldn’t see anything. Got home took off the box and set it up and saw the dents. Why!!!!??? Seeing as I now have to call the store in the am and see what they will do about either $$ back or an exchange…. Call me highly annoyed.

Ms Maria was fabulous with her customer service while I was getting the items to build my fence. I came 2-3 days in a row to get the items I needed and each time I felt like a known and well treated customer! I would definitely always shop here!

Great home improvement store. Being a contractor, I need to get in and out quicklyI will literally drive past a lowes to go to h.d.It would be awesome if the store manager had a better handle on his employees so the lumber carts were at the door instead of all over the parking lot. It's more than a minor inconvenience to have to walk the parking lot to fetch a cart. It's a huge waste of a customer's time.

Not a lot of what I was looking for, which were matching vases. Too much seasonal junk. Not everyone is looking for that or holiday decorations. Just need general decor that can be used anytime. And the cashier was fake friendly. Talked like she had a mouth full of taffy. If she is too shy, let her stock.

Asked for help, never showed told the customer service they seemed like they didn’t care either. So Home Depot lost a lot of money that day.I saw a lot of employees walking together I guess they was acting like they was doing something or bidding their time to go to lunch of clock out. They need a refresher course on customer service.

NOT THE PLACE TO BUY YOUR CHRISTMAS TREE THIS YEAR. Bought a tree 10 days ago. We bought the tree early since we were hosting my wife's family for Thanksgiving, and traveling the rest of the weekend, and wanted to have it done for when we got back. The tree was left outside, trunk freshly cut, and submerged in water, we brought it inside a few days later to decorate it. Knowing that you always make a mess with the needles setting it up, we didn't think too much of the amount of needles that accumulated on the floor. It was every day afterwards that had us concerned. Every morning and night we sweep up about a quart of fallen needles. It is only December 3 and we already have bare branches. At this point we called HD and they said if we bring back the tree and a receipt they will refund us. My biggest problem with this is that I feel as if that doesn't quite cover it. I have to go through twice the amount of effort, frustration, and mess. At this point I am out a lot more than just a tree. I'm out time, energy, and money on something I wanted to be right the first time. Yes they offered to refund a tree but what is being done to refund the time and frustration we are going through? I'm not just returning a plant that I neglected, I am having to remove the lights and decorations from a seven foot tree, strap it to the roof of my car and drive it back to HD all for the satisfaction of having to go through all the same frustration that consist of decorating a tree a second time. Did I mention my wife is also 8 months pregnant? HD has fallen way short on their recovery on this one.

Women, beware if you go into Home Depot, Trussville, and you try to rent tools. The Gentleman working the rental counter couldn’t have been more rude. He was not product knowledgeable and thought his comments and sarcastic remarks were funny. He even walked away from my questions and concerns to talk to a good old buddy standing there in the store. I am just totally surprised at how I was treated there today. I hope all women that go there do not have the experience that I had today.

I will never ever buy an appliance from Home Depot and pay for the delivery. For the fourth time now I've had two guys show up without any identification, uniform shirts and driving and enterprise rental truck. I've ever seen. I asked them their name they wouldn't tell me. I asked who they work for they wouldn't tell me. I asked for their boss's name they wouldn't tell me.. no thanks. Too many appliance stores in Birmingham with uniformed employees with identification badges. And not driving rental trucks.

I love Home Depot, but the Trussville,Alabama store has too many people working there that don't care and don't know things they should know, and it's seems to be worse everytime I go there. I used to frequent the Pell City, Alabama store and their employees were much more helpful and knowledgeable. Pell City is about an extra 20 minute drive for me now, but it may be worth the drive if the situation worsens.

I will never rent equipment from here again. I picked up a tiller on Friday so I could have a good day of sunlight. After the 45 min drive to home depot and another 45 min drive home, the tiller doesn't start. It took 30 minutes to start only to find out the tines do not turn. Called, they told me to come back and they were going to upgrade the the tiller since they didn't have another. Drive all the way back, tested the new tiller which worked, get home at dark amd tried using it. The handles are bent where it connects to the machine and was being held on by hose clamps. You can barely run the tiller 5 minutes before hanving to fix them again. Never again.

While some companies have a hard time being patriotic, you have the Trussville Home Depot that wears their pride in being American and supporting our service members out in public. These were prudly set up in the first non handicapped parking space in front of the store.

Always love visiting this location. Friendly employees and I was pleased to stumble on the garden center taking action against our sudden cold snap and insulate the plants. Self checkout options which are easy to use especially now that the machine has been turned down or updated to not yell at me regarding my purchase lol.December 4th, 2022: still amazing service

I needed to price a lift for a commercial job and The Home Depot had just what I needed and the associate was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about my needs. He explained everything including various options. This Home Depot is a winner in my book, during this visit 👍🏾

Holy vaca (cow in Spanish)! This place is incredible! They sell Backyard Bug Control, Lawnmowers (both green and black), umbrellas, tikis, snacks, and sundry items. A little dissatisfied with the plunger selection however, so just four stars 😕

Great experience with purchasing a washing machine but afterwards was horrible. The washer was set up to be delivered and after waiting all day, received an notification that no one was home to take delivery. The delivery people took a picture of an entirely different house and tried to say they went to the wrong house on our road but we & one more house are the only ones on our road and we had camera proof they did not even go by our house. We got the runaround and there was nothing the store could do to get us our washer.

I would like to say customer service reps Flame and Nicole are very good at their jobs. I had so many issues at this store BUT they were very patient and helpful. Showed team work!!! They are why I give this store 5 🌟. I really hope their supervisors see this and will be letting corporate know they have two people that are likely overdue for a promotion and raise.
