Shopping is always a pleasure at this Publix! I regularly shop at Clay Moody and Deerfoot and Deerfoot is by far my Favorite place to shop! Donnie is always sure to put a smile on my face, he is truly an asset to your company! All of the employees at Deerfoot are so energetic, upbeat and positive! Thank you to Donnie and Publix staff for making it a Pleasure to shop at Publix.

Fast Friendly and Awesome service,, product availability was on point and what impressed me the most was the actual sincerity of the staff who made sure that I found what I needed. I didn't feel like they were just going through the motions, those involved seemed sincere.. Definitely a great experience during this visit.. #TeamPublix 👊🏿💯🙏🏿

Always a pleasant experience so far we actually drive an hour to get there. There's some really good prices but there's also some gotcha prices so be careful. And the other customers are all Pleasant to be around so far. And yes I will be going back until my experiences changes

I did not complain in the store, because I did not have the time to do so… but…it’s been a while since I’ve ordered a cake from Publix, because the last one I ordered was a little janky too… but I mean… I keep the order SUPER SIMPLE. Blue with white trim.. I thought. I won’t even share my thoughts… I’ll just post the pictures. Never again. This is the worst Publix bakery I’ve ever had the pleasure of using over the years. I will have to travel. If I want a Publix cake next time.

This is our favorite go-to store. Love the excellent service, always very clean and friendly and I can always find what I want. Let's not forget the curbside service, which is excellent. Never have I had any damaged or missed items.

It Was The First Time I've Ever Been To A Publix, I've Looked At Commercials, The Deli With A Meat And Two Vegetables,The Food Looked Like It Was Sitting There Too Long I Couldn't Tell What Some Of The Meats Were,IT Looked Dried Out,The Server's Looked Like A Deer In Headlights,We Asked Questions,But They Were Short Answers, Overall The Store Was Clean,We Found Orange Roughy In The Freezer Section,Our Favorite Fish,The Cashier And Grocery Shacker Was VERY Friendly,..I Would Like To Visit Again,Since We Just Moved Here, I Will Give IT Another Chance..Hopefully It Will Be Better...🤷‍♀️

The day before Thanksgiving is so crazy busy. I received much help from a nice lady in customer service (wish I remembered her name) and a young man named James. They helped me figure something out with instacart. It was a very good experience on what will be a busy day for them. So pleasant and helpful at Customer Service, as they always are.

Publix is everything that a grocery store should be! Look for the BOGO specials and that helps with the cost. The Main thing is the associates are very well trained and they act like they appreciate your business. That is so refreshing these days! Need one in my hometown of Springville Alabama!

They should have more freebies instead of charging double and get one free.The meats and delicatessen dept. Is way over price.Wynn Dixie has cheaper meat prices.No veteran discounts and theItalian and French bread has no flavor and should be given to prisoners as dailyRations !

OMG...it is once again a place receiving the highest compliment I give to those I feel worthy.TOP NOTCH to one of the most perfect Antique, Collectibles and gift stores I use consistently.The staff members are trustworthy, kind and knowledgeable.More importantly, they are constant staff. Never changing and courteous beyond most other establishments I visit.Personally, I find such amazing deals that I am able to resale such great items purchased at below market value on my small business on the marketplace with Facebook.Kudos,Robby Duty

The pharmacy doesn't call the customers to pick up the medication. They are so busy the whole time we have to wait 30 mins. Bad service to the public.

*DO NOT USE PUBLIX PHARMACY IF YOUR PET IS AT EMERGENCY PET CARE TRUSSVILLE***I rushed my 9 month old dog to the emergency hospital across the street for cluster seizures this morning. After communicating with my dog’s neurologist at Mississippi State, the vets decided on a different anticonvulsant to hopefully stop these seizures. They gave me a prescription to get filled immediately as it wasn’t something they carried. Luckily for us, there was a Publix across the street. We could grab food and get the script filled almost immediately. When I dropped off the script, the pharmacist said she didn’t think they had one of the two meds I gave her in stock. I told her that that was fine, as I still had some of his prescription left but I needed the second med IMMEDIATELY. I saw that they were busy (pretty long line and pharmacists running around and I’m self aware enough to know there’s staffing shortages everywhere) and asked about how long it would be. She said “45 minutes!” GREAT! So we grabbed food and posted up in the parking lot to wait, so we’d be able to rush this med across the street to the hospital as soon as we got the call. No call came.Almost hours later, I decided to call and check in. Again, I saw they were busy and hate rushing people who I believe to be competent professionals but my dog was still having sporadic seizures across the street and I needed to get him this med. When I got ahold of someone (Brittany, maybe??) she informed me that the second med wasn’t in stock and I could pick it up tomorrow.I AN WAITING IN YOUR PARKING LOT FOR THE MED I EMPHASIZED I NEEDED. I *EXPLICITLY* SAID I DID NOT NEED THE SECOND MEDICATION.I rushed into the pharmacy and as I’m checking out for the medication they had in stock, I asked if my other script was in the bag as well. She said something to the effect of “that is out of stock and we’ll have it tomorrow.” I do not live in the area. I will get my prescription filled with my regular pharmacy.It was just an absolutely horrendous experience as I thought I was thorough enough when I dropped off the prescriptions.

Decent experience besides at check out with the bagger girl. All because I asked for the glass juice bottles to be double-bagged she was rude. I even told her that I didn't want to get out to my truck and they bust through shattering.

Publix has always been my favorite grocery store. When I went this past week I bought two top sirloins that were on sale. They looked very good and I cut one in half and marinated it. The picture is what it looked like when I flipped it over. (Disgusting right?) It was so tough you couldn't cut through it for the tough skin in the middle. I went back to the Deerfoot location and talked to the assistant manager Scott. I showed him the pictures and we went to the meat department. He called the assistant meat manager (Alex) who looked at the picture and said, "some people like that kind of steak." My response was, "If people like them like that then put that side up." I was very very frustrated that the Publix employees couldn't recognize what I was showing them. They offered to replace the steak, but I didn't want another steak. I just wanted someone who was capable of understanding that this was absolutely unacceptable. To me it was unethical for a meat cutter to package this steak and sell it to the public.

Getting someone to wait on you at the deli is like pulling teeth. I always feel like I am interrupting something important, like the latest gossip. Two people working and ignoring anyone at the counter. Fortunately there is a nearby Piggy Wiggly where the deli help is actually happy to wait on customers

Never using Publix for cake orders ever again. Ordered a simple cake and they managed to mess up every step. Nothing like what I ordered. I shouldn’t have paid for it but I was too upset to say anything. Never again.

I want to just brag on this store and the associates.. from Donnie, Pam, Denise, Brandy, Becky, Cindy, Blaine, Sam and Doug to Ms. Cynthia and Darryl in the deli.. and a host of others that I can't remember their names.. I'm always impressed and happy to see them when I arrive to do my job(gig work). They're always helpful and just a delight. Thank you crew and I'm sorry that i forgot some names💕

The Trussville Publix location has extremely friendly and helpful employees. There are always plenty of check out lines and self check out lines. There are also employees out in the store who are able to help you find things. Though they have a good selection of items, they are many times sold out if you go after work or Saturday. I believe this is because the small location is trying to serve an area with too many people. If they could expand their store and increase their inventory, it would be the perfect place to shop.
