The Fresh Value Marketplace is not my usual grocery store; however, it is definitely worth a visit. The employees inside this particular grocery store are hands down the nicest, most congenial, and helpful people I have ever encountered. They're always so prompt and efficient in their service, and the best part about them is that you can actually see the personalities come through when they speak to you and in the way they handle themselves at work. This alone is a refreshing attribute uncommon in most stores. There are two particular items that I buy at this store only and nowhere else, and they are 12 pack cans of Pepsi products and Ramen noodles. Not only do they have the best price in both items, but they also have the biggest variety anywhere in Trussville. When you enter the store, there are bins by the door filled with dollar value items that are special deals.It would be of great interest to you to check those out as well. I'm so thankful that this grocery store is so close to my house. I appreciate the service and the low prices. If you have never ventured out into the store, I encourage you to add the Fresh Value Marketplace to your regular shopping routine

The entire produce department appears different in a GOOD way. Very well organized and and makes me want to buy more fruits and vegetables. Everything is fresh. The asparagus is delicious, I'm buying all my produce here from now on.The entire store is clean and stocked very well. The staff is nice too. I really like this store.

This store is not fancy. The prices are good, and they run a lot of sales. They have a really good produce section as well. They have a good selection of bulk type frozen items. A great place to shop on a budget. It is a cost +10, so you have to add 10% to the price listed.

This store is my go to, clean, well stocked and the people are always friendly. Selections are limited but this location makes up for it in other areas such as value and service. Nothing but pleased with my shopping experience time and time again.

I always shop at your store And I always find your staff to be so friendly and courteous. Today I want to give a huge shoutout to your cashier Kaye. We always like to go through her register when she is there. Never has she been anything but helpful. Today she helped me personally. I'm on disability and money is tight at the end of the month. I added everything up and put one thing back so that I stayed within the $80 cash I had. After paying for it we realized that we hadn't rung up the case of water. I had no more money but really needed that water. I was trying to figure out what I could return to pay for it when Kaye brought out her personal money and paid for it for me. I was so grateful, I can't even express it. I promised her she will get it back next week when I come in. Thank you Kaye for helping me and trusting me too pay you back. You are a true blessing. And thank you Fresh Value for employing such an exemplary employee

Neiborhood market so prejudiced but well staffed most times and helpful with questions. Promotions are very relevant items usually and in store sale items usually very good value. However it is a difficult place to go to and only purchase what is intended.

You advertised 10 pound ground beef for $19.95, great value if the chub was actually 10 pounds. I out of curiosity weighed it at home and found it to be just barely over 8 pounds. So not happy with this purchase.

Very nice supermarket, everything is always organized well and products are easy to find. The staff is also very friendly & I very rarely have much of a wait to checkout if there is any wait at all. Overall its a great place to shop.My only complaint would be that the parking is less than ideal. Actually the parking lot arrangement makes no sense at all to me, the handicap spots are in the middle instead of the front. I don't use those spots but their location baffles me, either way don't hold your hopes for a close spot. Only other thing I'm not crazy about is that their prices are not that great. Some products they're right on par, but others its common to see 30 to 50 cents higher, plus they tack on an extra 10% at the register before the 10% sales tax is added.Despite those two negatives, their location is excellent & is the primary pull that keeps me coming back. Depending on where you live & how much traffic you feel like dealing with, this market may very well be the best option & most convenient.

Our first visit was quite pleasant. We came by around lunch time, and it was not crowded at all. They have good value products at decent prices with several group specials (5 items for $18 sort of thing). Our cashier was informative and didn't mind answering our questions, and even went so far as to let us know that they have a great sale every Tuesday afternoon. I would describe it as a mix of family dollar and piggly wiggly. We look forward to returning to take advantage of their frozen foods and meat specials.

The employees here are always very nice. I hate that the prices just keep going up and up because it makes this store not worth it anymore really... some things are okay but this can't be a regular grocery store. The cart sanitizer just takes up room at this point though

I love this place for one reason. Cheap groceries. I can get 80-90% of everything I need for less than Windixie, or Publix. And their store brands are even cheaper than Walmart brand without the hassle of a large shopping center.

I enjoyed my shopping at Fresh Value Market, the prices was well deserved the trip. The prices were so good, that I made other trip the same day for some the relatives in my family. They had chicken drumsticks for 2.38 for a 5lb. bag. I got five bags for myself then went back to the store and got additional five more bags for the relatives in my family. They also had bags of already cut and washed collard greens for $1.50. I got two bags and took the home. I washed the greens again and put them in freezer bags. The trip to the Fresh Value Market was worth the trip. I told another member of my family and she had me to take her to Fresh Value Market to see for herself the great deals. She didn't believe me until she saw the great deals for herself. She got the last two chicken drumsticks and made calls to other family of the great deals at Fresh Value Market. My cousin ended up getting several items for other members of the family. Now that she knows where Fresh Value Market is located, she will visit the store. Again, it is worthwhile your trip and the people that works in the store are so awesome. They were eager to assist you with finding items that you need.

We really like the Fresh Market. Price is shown on tags and is cost plus 10%. The reason for 4 stars as opposed to 5 is the are smaller store and don't carry some of our staple items like organic milk. There fruits and vegetables are very good. Their fresh veggies, meat and pick 5 program gets 5 stars.

I love shopping at Fresh Value. The prices are much better than neighboring grocery stores. There is a greater variety of frozen vegetables there at great prices and they have good quality meats. It is an uplifting store to shop in. We love Robin who is one of the managers there. She is so willing to help you if you have a question or need. Even in the midst of the coronovirus situation going on, everyone there seems like family and they are always willing to help you and they go out of their way to help. It is a great place for seniors to shop because of the money that you save!

First time going (I knew about the extra 10% fee beforehand). Store was great, I found everything I was looking for and it was all as marked in the sales ad. I even found great deals on things I didn't plan to buy. Excellent prices! Reminds me of the store in my hometown. Will definitely be back!

I love it! Last Saturday was my first time in the store and I was very pleased with the meat quality those Turkey necks were fresh and meaty and cheap, I also love those large family packs of meat at very nice prices get more for your money I love it!

They charge cost plus 10% on top of the retail value. Same item at Walmart is $1.58 per can of ocean spray cranberry jelly sauce. They charge $1.81 and 10% on top claiming it’s “Tax” but it’s a separate “profit” charge for the store. No one really could answer that question.

I always like this store. ALL employees are polite and helpful. The meat cutter has been there since the store opened cuts meat by request when you need something. The prices beat a lot of other places around. My one stop shop.

Great small store, I absolutely love seeing their selection of smaller brands to purchase from. I sometimes find it hard to find access to smaller local brands but I tend to find that kind of thing here. Could easily recommend to a friend in town.
