Had to do my $5 off $25 so I decided to visit this DG in Trussville and as usual was not disappointed.We have been to this location numerous times before … Always clean and organized … Fully stocked on everything as well.The employees here are always super nice as well.We will definitely return to the Trussville location.

I was buying a few items today, and while the cashier checked me out, she and another employee stood and spoke. Their discussion consusted of bashing a mother and her children who had just checked out in front of me. They spoke of what she bought, "junk and candy" and that she used food stamps to pay. They, the cashier in particular said,"those kids don't need candy, their teeth already look bad...". She then cursed, using the F word, in reference to another employee.I am shocked by the lack of care or respect for others and that you guys would hire someone who thinks and openly speaks this way, especially of children.How disgusting and arrogant can one person be?Not to mention the mess of the store and the carts in the middle of aisles.I definitely won't be back.Do better DG.

This store is awesome they do have trouble sometimes unloading new merchandise just because they focus more on the customer service then they do the new merch, all the time everything is stocked just new items might not be out on shelves. But the management is so AMAZING!!!!! I promise I'll drive 15 to 20 minutes out of the way just to go to that store. The employees & management are the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!- I felt it needed repeating 🖤Chelsea & the Daniels family

They are always so messy and that makes it difficult to shop. I fear that my elderly mother might trip. Two stars. However, I am adding two stars because the woman working the register was so nice. She was positive. It made a horrible experience okay. I won't avoid the store in the future because of her.

walked in and immediately noticed the store manager was talking to someone else so he had no customers. When I was done gathering my things I walked up to the counter after he was taking care of someone else and he was still talking to someone standing off to the side who appears to have been there for a minute. he continued to talk as I walk up to the counter and I said hi to him and how was he and he ignored me completely and continue to talk to the person the entire time he was scanning my groceries. When I tried to buy a cigarillo he told me that he wasn't allowed to use a paper copy because he had a scan it in. He did not apologize and there was no sign anywhere in the store that stayed at that. I have been to many and have worked at many Dollar generals and I know for a fact most of them can type in your date of birth. there should be signs up that says that they need to scan your ID instead of type it in and if a customer is up at the front he should not be talking to anyone else. I expect the store manager to know that better than anyone else.. this isnt an experience anyone should have. especially in customer service. His job is to make sure the customers are well taken care of for. His job is not to talk to someone who's been standing there for 20 minutes off to the side and scan grocery slowly because he's involved in the conversation and can't focus. This needs to be handled so that people can have a better experience than this. Also you need to put signs out at your stores if you have to scan the ID instead of tap the number in because that messes a lot of people up and loses the store money.

This is a nice new store located conveniently and great parking. The store is well organized with everything you would mostly need for a one stop shop. Everything from frozen meats to breads and dairy products. It has been a rare occasion that I have visited this store and they not have what I was looking for or something similar.

I was able to find everything I needed on my shopping list keeping me from having to fight my was through walmart. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The prices were fair and the selection was good. The store was extremely clean and well stocked. The store manager even stopped what he was doing to help me find and item. No lines or waiting at check out. I will be frequenting this establishment often.

I like the dollar general store only thing I don't like is having to wait in line for so long and could definitely use mote stuff on their shelves as quite a few times went for certain things and they were out ..I do understand that its a store and stores run out of product but seems they could get a better hand on ordering the products..but like I said,I love me some dollar general store also wanna add that the employees are very friendly for the most part!

I want everybody to know I absolutely love the Dollar General located in Trussville on Main Street. The store is always very clean, and the staff is more than courteous every time I walk through the door. I love to give credit where credit is due, and I want the new General Manager and the District Manager to take note of these names: Kera, Kiya, Brittany, Lyndsey, and Eric. When you have any combination of the aforementioned names, then you know that you're going to have a great experience at Dollar General. This is the A- team. I specially love now that they have a dollar aisle where everything on the aisle is a dollar and I would encourage you to go down there every time you come in the store because there's always something new. I just want to say thank you for being so kind and nice to my family and to me over the years that we've lived in Trussville. Thank you again. I encourage anyone and everyone to experience this Dollar General.

It was good. Clean, neat, everything was easy to find and the selection is usually good here(for those who don't know dollar general doesn't always have the same products at all locations but this one does good about having everything).

I love DG, Lord knows I do! But I must have gone on a day when EVERYTHING was out of stock! Not a dustpan in sight, and cleaning supplies were sparse. But I've got FAITH in you DG! And I'll be back!

I don't which one clay store empty,went to Argo one it was empty, finally went to the trussville DG at least they had dog food,cat food and Benadryl no dishwashing liquid I like! It looks like DG is counting there employees back and they can't keep up with the demand !

Older disabled man is always so rude and nasty. I go here multiple times a week for convenience. If it wasn't their convenience of this establishment I would never go back due to this man's personal skills. If you're going to work with the public you should at least be half way nice

The clerk was so nice and helpful!I hate the app and trying to get DIGITAL COUPONS!!IT IS NOT USER FRIENDLY AND IS CONFUSING.10 MINUTES TO GET A 1.00 COUPON FOR DORITOS!!RIDICULOUS!!LOVE THE STORE, GOOD MERCHANDISE.HIRE MORE PEOPLE TO STOCK .AISLES ARE FULL OF UNOPENED MERCHANDISE TO BE PUT ON SHELVES.PAY MORE TO THESE PEOPLE.

This Dollar General is like pot luck. You don't know what you going to get. If you need Clorox wipes and Lysol. Be there at open Thursday's. If that manager puts it out. He has a Napoleon complex. So if it's not out there on Thursday call corporate on him.

This is a good location to visit. The store seems to have more items in stock than a lot of other store's ivey visited. I've found the items that I was looking for and a few that I didn't know they carried.

Lot of bare shelves. But that's to be expected when you procrastinate until Sunday evening. Store is clean and not blocked in isles with stock like a lot of other DG's.
