Worked here at the end of 2022 for a couple months. The two managers are always arguing. Both accused the other of stealing from the registers. They never clean the floors or the bathrooms. There are boxes and trash all over the place. When I asked for Christmas Eve off a week ahead of time, they said no. Three people quit during that week, leaving only me and the managers. I had also asked for new years eve off two weeks ahead of time, and they said yes. Then they told me I had to work anyways. I missed my last Christmas with my grandmother to keep this job. Then I found out they were paying me less than they said. About a week into the new year, my girlfriend sprained her ankle, and I called out to take her to the ER. The older lady manager, Anita, told me I couldn't do that and would be fired if I did. So I got fired. I moved outside of the GM's district to get hired at a much better Dollar General. They told me I can't work at another DG again, I was blacklisted for quitting. I told them I was fired for calling out, and they said Anita put me in the system as quitting. Ive never quit a job without notice before. Do not shop here unless you want expired dusty food, broken or torn products, and terrible customer service.

A black female with two other black females walked past me in an aisle where the older one said something harassing to me. I am white and was there to work. Never saw her in my life and I was only standing there looking over my work details and briefly looked up as they approached where I was standing. She continued the harassment by talking loudly towards the other two about me and looking my way. I’d had enough of black unnecessary hostility, so I confronted her. A nasty argument ensued where she approached my personal space and I felt even more threatened. The manager didn’t do anything for me. She told us both to leave. This nasty black female continued her verbal attack until her and her crew finally exited the store. I apologized to the manager for my involvement, which was me taking up for myself. However I realize it bothered her, so hence the apology. She continued to not be supportive even tho it was clear who was the aggressor. I’m never going there for any reason ever again. It’s convenient for me, but I’ll shop elsewhere. I don’t feel safe.

Bought a propane tank from them that leaked at the valve. Old lady wouldn't exchange the faulty tank because I did not have a receipt. She even said a customer just brought one back with the same problem. Now stuck with a very dangerous propane tank that leaks.Check your tanks and keep your receipts.

This was a great Dollar G visit. They had everything I needed on my list from my wife. Some items they sell are just the best for us. Cat food and dog foods are inexpensive and about the same as Walmart.Easy to get through aisles too. Store is always clean.

Store is ALWAYS in a mess. Stock that should be on the shelves to be sold is in boxes crammed to the back of the store. End caps have boxes in front of them so you can't see what is on them. I heard that they had 12 boxes of Christmas items that weren't opened until after Christmas. They need a crew to come in and clean this place up and more help to keep it up. Used to be a nice store but totally different now.

Really like this location but there was a n employee working tonight that I have never seen before. She was completely loud and obnoxious and down right asked my daughter and friend if they were stealing right in front of me. Just because they were laughing and walking the aisles. I will not shop this location anymore if this employee is there when I go. I have been a general manager for 15 years and know bad customer service and wrong hires. She is definately one. I understand that the store closes at 9 PM. But the gentlemen saw me at the door and locked the door in my face and smiled. I believe that there is always an exception especially since he saw me at the door. I will NEVER do business again with Office Depot. Staples or even Walmart from here on out! What happened to go old customer service especially during the holiday season!

I will never go in this store again. when i walked in there was already a man waiting to check out, i yelled hello is anyone working here, nobody answered, he said he thinks the cashier walked outside so i walked out and she wasn't outside i went back in and walked through the store and the manager and the cashier were on the toy isle so i said we need to check out, the cashier said i will be there in a minute, we are looking for a toy. This is not the 1st problem. Its every time i go in there #DONE

Empty shelves, carts and totes full of product blocking aislesThey need to over hire to catch up and stay caught up. Since DG doesn't pay well, the turnover is high. The two people on staff are usually nice but stressed and overworked.

I dont appreciate the employee sending a customer to chase my wife and I down accusing her of stealing. We were looking for headphones and in a hurry. Didnt see what we needed and left. Pull up at Bill's and some other customer is yelling at my wife to return what she stole...I've been trying to call and sort this out since we got home. Phones go straight to message saying call again later. March 31st 4:15pm..

Store was messy and cashier kept yelling yes yelling at manager in the back that's its time for his break. Put chemicals in with my bread. What happened to good work ethics? Very disrespectful.

Power went out in town today, we pulled up needing a powerless charger just to see if they are open. There power was on but doors locked and employees looking at us laughing. Big black guy in particular. At least you could come outside and tell us if your machines are down or not or if maybe you could take cash in stead of looking at us. But then they proceeded to purchase things for them selfs. I work retail and would never treat my customers like this. If I could rate a ZERO I would.

Everyone there from the manager to the floor clerk is just super nice and super helpful. If you ask where you might find a product or need help getting a product, they help you find it or get it. Great people, great place.

I absolutely hate Dollar General. Service is always slow there's always a line to check out the big waste of time. Gladly they're everywhere. Probably only reason why they're in business

They really have a problem with the way they serve clients, because here in Argo there is a woman who claims to be a supervisor in the night shift, of short stature, white also with a problem apparently on her skin because she has many marks on her face she shouted at my daughter who is a minor just to open the refrigerator and was mocking my daughter because she was scared because I scream several times in front of other customers, I am her father and I will make a report of this as she You do not have to do this to customers especially if the clients are minors
