This is a nice change from a big box store, convenient local hardware store right off the Argo exit. We’ve purchased lots of items here including Christmas trees. The staff is nice and friendly.

Edit: I bought nice topsoil here lately. It’s great to have that and other lawn and garden supplies close to home and at reasonable prices. Buying here beats going to big box stores for those supplies by far and I’m supporting local small businesses which I love.A lot of the store is empty in the back…waste of space. Millennial manager, I guess, was on his phone sitting and talking on speaker phone and listening to music when I entered. Female cashier answered my one simple question in a curt manner. All plants outside were from Bonnie plants which is a mass marketed product. And when this store runs out of that stock… that’s it…. Even though the season is not over.Where are the local available vendor products like fruit or plants or jewelry or clothing etc…or more selections of beer and wine?? This store has so much potential to be a REAL local Gem, but it falls short. Looks like the management doesn’t try hard to make it really something special. Typical self absorbed human. So much for me buying local..smh.

My favorite store in the whole city. Customer service is outstanding from the time you walk in the door until you leave. Totally different than the lack of service you get at Lowes and Home Depot. Product selection is second to none.

It's been around as long as I have, since I was a kid. And I have always loved old mom and pops kind of stores. They always treat you like family to. That's the big plus in my book. And I used to love to build thing when I was capable, and they have got what you need on a shorts notice.

We go out there to buy our Victor Dog Food. Which is one of the top 5 rated dog foods. Jan who is usually at the register always has a smile when you walk into the store. There is a young man that always comes right away to see if you need help with the dog food. Everybody is so friendly. That’s what I call a 5 star store with 5 star dog food

Surprisingly, they carry Victor, which is on the higher end dog foods and Diamond Large Breed dog food, also a good feed at very reasonable prices. Can only get Victor online from Chewy before I found out about here, very happy about that and they were also so kind to help me pick out some hardware I needed, everyone is super nice and helpful. Will be continuing to buy all my dog food there.

This is the coolest all around “general store” I’ve ever seen. Hardware, locally prepped food, diesel, ethanol-free gas, garden plants, beer on tap, and wonderful people. Nothing but good things to say about this place!

Glen is always wearing a smile and remembered my name after my first visit. If they don’t have it, he’ll get it for you, and keep it in stock. Their prices are extremely reasonable and with a well stocked store combined with 1st class treatment (compared to the big chain guys), who cares? I’ll buy everything I can from them.
