i usually am not one to leave a negative review however, i feel as if something needs to be said about how downhill this dollar general has gone down. i’ve been going here for years and i’ve always loved the people and have had little to no complaints about it. however, as of recently, the store has began to be absolutely disgusting and the people are horribly rude to me no matter the circumstances. the employees always hang out in the back which causes many customers to sit in line to check out and wait for 10 minutes until they finally notice. when they DO notice they have an attitude with the customers as if it’s our fault and we’re bothering by interrupting their free time in the storage closet in the back behind the counter. plus, the place has become absolutely filthy. i used to bathroom the other day there and found blood stains on the floor, a fake nail, the toilet was disgusting, and there was just pure garbage in the floor and it looked like it had not been cleaned in WEEKS. I have noticed that most of my complaints are the newer employees that were just hired in the past year. 2 of them specifically. i am so disappointed and have never seen such an unstocked, dirty, and just pure gross store with such rude people in my entire life.

Been going here since I visited a friend on Trinity Mountain.. Very Clean and orderly.. Well lit and has more high end items then Decatur Stores.. Went there for outdoor patio cushions.. awesome.. cheap and thick and stylish.. love it..

The manager and cashiers are very kind, and helpful. I love our Dollar General. It's so convenient. But being really the only store of its kind in town, they're super busy most every time, and definitely could use a permanent stock boy or two. The store is so convenient, but I stopped buying as much stuff there as I used to, because the poor girls just can't get the shelves stocked completely, and regularly. They need a permanent stock person just to do that!

I worked here from 2013-2016. I loved the store manager because she was amazing. It was difficult to get certain supplies, like the mops for mopping store floor, or for our computers to get fixed since they broke down frequently. It is difficult to keep the place stocked due to lack of hours given to store causing only two employees working at a time with one having to work cash register and stock. Overall, I preferred working for this one compared to ones I would go help at that was closer to home.

Management is excellent and the atmosphere is great!! Couldnt ask for better service!! Store is always clean and neat, employees are down to earth and know how to greet customers when they walk through the door. Best dollar general I've ever been to hands down!!

Your same old run of the mill dogs I mean there is absolutely nothing great about dgs I mean any chain business that has blew up like it has and to pull all this money in for he or she doesn't want to seem to give back to it's community don't believe me just Pop your head a little look see into the DGS waist I mean it is a complete and total shame to see what I see on a regular basis the tossing of still in date foods and other goods when they could just as easily donate that food I'm throwing a real shame on you dollar general 1 for being greedy enough just so you can pull food away from someones mouth like you've been doing and 2 being the most expensive place to shop. Forget dollar general they suckkkkkkkk!

The unfriendly staff makes you feel like your wrong and they dont seem to care about anything except talking to each other about others. The managers even make you feel bad, or being watched for no reason. Honestly feel like a preyed on everytime i am in this store. They dont care if you was rung up correctly or even if your coupons were taken off. The one true employee that cares works nights and she isnt never there when i am in there anymore and she makes you feel like your welcome to come back.. Will get ladys name but other than her rest are rude individuals whom stereotype. grown women that are into drama and everyone elses lives. Worst dg.

Hey I give those people at $ General A ++++ they are so kind, very helpful, my husband loves to go because its just minutes from where we live, I hardly ever get to go but its like I turn into a child because I love all the $1.00 Items I have a Garden in my Window with all the miniature fairies, angels, gates, fences, benches, tables, arches, crosses, birds, butterflies, cats, and its so enjoyable to me to go and see if there is anything new for my Window Garden it says Life began in a Garden referring to the Bible and God.

I have to make a stop here at least twice a week and I always choose here over Wallmart to save time and money. They can have a few people in line at times but always quick cheek out. Just be warn stay away when bad weather approaches because it's everyone 1st stop it seems for bread and milk.
