This place is literally a joke. It’s the closest store to my house so I regularly go in there. The amount of employees that have showed up drunk on the job or high on substances amazes me half of the time there’s no one to help you they don’t give you the correct amount of change back there have been times where I could’ve walked out without paying because they gave me back too much money but I stopped them. I watched them tell someone that they had fake money tonight without even checking the bill he said felt like paper anyone who has gotten fresh money out of the bank knows what $100 bill feels like when it’s brand new it does feel a little funky, but it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s fake . It’s just always something never a dull moment, but sometimes I wander how some of these people got a job dealing with money

Had what I needed, but took some effort to find. Overly crowded isles with boxes of unpacked stock sitting around. Would be hard to navigate inside in a wheelchair or walker.

This has to be the MOST trashyest store on the outside that exist when I drive by it it blows my mind to see it ,,,is it not possible to pick up the trash

I try my best to not go to this store. Things being overpriced, but the last few times I have gone here and purchased items that were suppose to be on sale. I have been charged full price.

This Dollar General is a hometown place. So don't go in here if you are in a hurry. They were very nice and helpful. I enjoyed the calm atmosphere. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to take their time. [ which is a lost art.]

Store was disorganized and dirty. It didn't look like much care had been paid to... Well... Anything in the store. Got what I needed and the staff was quick and quite friendly. Overall, it's did the job and I never have high expectations at a discount store. But be aware, it could be a mess if you are looking around for a particular item.

It's always well stocked but there is usually only one cashier. One of the managers will help out occasionally when it gets super busy of enough ppl make direct eye contact with her...but alas, it's on my way home so I have resigned myself to just standing in line for a piece of eternity.

Good employees. They will take you to what ever you are looking for. Also I noticed an employee assisting a customer with taking her groceries to her car. Very sweet people working there. I like this place much better than Walmart.

Superb and helpful staff. Sweet woman at the register was exceedingly nice to my son. 12-9-2017 around 7:00p.m. Any employer would be honored to have gracious and sweet people like her in their employ.

This is my usual store but this particular day the girl behind the counter was talking with another employee on my side while my items were on the counter. I had to wait to be checked out while this employee continued her conversation. Had 2 people waiting behind me. May have been only a few minutes or so but the conversation could have waited or she could of talked as checked me out. This was the first time I experienced this.

Actually it was pretty unbelievable. One lady at the register was trying to learn to twerp from the other two. Yelling at people they knew as they entered the store...not just a hello either. There was stock thar needed put away. The floor needed swept. This use to be a nice store but not anymore. The bread is never ever fresh!

I just moved to Toney and this is almost the only place out here to get anything. If you think I'm exaggerating, you probably haven't been out here yet. There's literally this place and a gas station across the street.THAT BEING SAID - everyone who works here is insanely nice - you can tell they know their regulars and that they do their best to give each customer a warm welcome. The store is kept clean and neat, and as weird as this is to say: it's the nicesest Dollar General I've been to. Which is good since that's where anything I forgot to pick up in town is going to come from.

This store carries lots of name brand products that are cheaper than Walmart!!! I will definitely be going back to this Dollar General store. Also the ladies working there were very kind and pleasant to be around.

I went to the Dollar General today & was almost attacked by a beligerant customer who actually threatened me with bodily harm. I was in the checkout line when a good friend & I struck up a conversation regarding mask wearing. In the middle of our conversation a customer began hurling insulation at me for no obviously reason. I asked to desist but she wouldn't. She used profanity & physically threatened me. I thought the cashier would make her stop but he simply turned on me instead. I will NEVER shop in that store again!

I absolutely love this DG. I use to live right up the road and every now and again I'll stop in. The staff is always kind and feels quiet homey. If you need help finding stuff they will help, not just point you to the isle. Love this DG!!!!!

Always Great Employees That Are Friendly And Ready To Help In Anyway They Can...only reason not 5 stars is they don't seem to have a lot of things that a dollar general lil bit farther has and the lines ti check out are always long...cashiers are great tho and do their best to get everyone quick as possible... I always like going bc they are always curtious and they stay open late till 10pm..Walmart still closes early when they used to stay open 24/7...It would be nice when then get back to somewhat normal 🤦‍♀️

A great store for cleaning supplies and household items. The customer service depends on the manager on duty. Sometimes they can be quite snippy or sullen.

Its a nice place to find what you need. But there is one day shift cashier that needs to stay professional and needs to stop gossiping about night shift to customers. Very non professional!
