Love the meat selection. Everything else has gotten so expensive. Customer service is friendly. But I'm forced to bargain hunt. As even a 6 pack of soda is 8 dollars. Update: last steak I bought had awful taste super tuff and went in trash.

Very unhelpful. They lost Check Cashing as a Service they are supposed to offer at this location. The rude lady at Customer Service declined to cash my check as soon as she seen that it was from another grocery store and gave me the immediate response that she didn’t have the amount to cash my check. It was only 900$ and this is a busy location, the woman didn’t even attempt to cash my check. Will not be returning to this chain, I definitely thought this was a professional grocery chain but I was sadly mistaken.

I like Winn Dixie and this location has very nice staff. Other stores ice shopped near me have disrespect for some customers, I guess they pick and choose but not Winn Dixie & I love getting rewards to cut my cost. Been shopping with them for many years & will continue

Haven't shopped at Winn Dixie in yrsalways liked their selection of store products and the prices are reasonable and well stocked so was able find what I wanted was not displeased in any way employees their are open really friendly a home type of atmosphere to me its plus, I might add plenty of parking and easy access from Hwy 90 and the interstate i-10 and to many other amenities you might need things to know when you are out traveling. 🚙🚗 🛴🛵

They need to make some major changes, I guess they get away with it because this is a backwoods Theodore location with low expectations from corporate. Zero Stars

Nah, nice store, but to jack up prices double then sell them 2 for 1 only if you have membership cards, which is free, but if you don't know, you are getting jacked. They do have an excellent strawberry shortcake cake, though.

This store has friendly staff and it has a majority of items that you will need, but damn the prices are insanely high on a lot of items. This definitely isn't a place where you want to buy all your grocery needs. There are many items that can be bought at ANY other store for a lower price. The deli and the seafood department are really sad now. Every time I go there's nothing there or anyone around so I can ask about items and their bakery is hit or miss as well. Tho I have never seen anyone in the bakery in the passed year. Maybe they are there only during certain hours, but I've gone to the store at many different times and still haven't seen anyone there. The store is usually quite empty every time I go. It is sad to see that most people rather shop at Walmart. Even though Winn Dixie has better deals at times, better quality meats, and a better sense of community. I wish they were a lil more competitive with there prices, but I also understand that not all stores can bully their way around and force companies to sell at lower prices, like Walmart does.

Always a joy to shop here. Today me and my girlfriend came to get sweet tea and they didn’t have any on the shelves. A worker, named Ricky, asked what we were looking for and he went to the back for us and got us a gallon. Very polite guy and great customer service. Even the cashier lady was very sweet.

Great customer service, but they need more selection in the veggie department. And they should train their cashiers to bag as they scan. They are saving time on items per second, worrying about how the transaction time looks to corporate (instead of the time it's taking from the actual customers), but then it takes more time at the end of the transaction, after the total button has been pressed & it looks good on paper, to bag the items, or I bag it myself (as if I were at Walmart being forced to self check out) while they are checking out my items so I don't have to stand there and wait for it to be bagged and the line is not held up. Your bottom line should be customer service, convenience, and efficiency; not a facade of corporate perception.

Store are always clean and staff are friendly & helpful. Store layouts are different from store to store, but are easy to navigate.Sales are a bit wonky. Gotta watch how they word things in their ads. Buy one free get one free sales mean just that. You have to purchase one item at full price to receive the second item free. Other stores may give you the first item half price if you just want to purchase one item. Some of the 10 for 10 sales are tricky. Some are for one specific item, others can be "mix or match."Update (May of 2023): Seems as though the store is changing it's aisle layout and product placement a bit. Produce has changed a bit already. And I noticed other aisles were different.

The beef people is not just a clever slogan, they really do have the best beef in town as far as grocery stores, butcher shops withstanding. They had what I needed, the checkout girl was an absolute babe if you're down for such shenaniganry. All in all quick service, a clean store and friendly staff. No wallyworld idiots either, the customers make for a top notch shopping experience

Worst produce department ever! Half the fruit and veggies didn't have prices. All the produce was over priced and sad looking. I was going to rate the store 1 star, but the cashier was super friendly. She did such a good job and saved our visit. If you have to shop here, get your produce across the street at Lil Brian's produce store.

Honestly Winn Dixie as a company should be ashamed of the condition of this store. It be never seen a Winn Dixie so out of date and neglected it’s like the company has not done any upgrades since 1999. The hot bar and produce are pretty terrible.

The hot bar food is good but if u get something like a fried chicken tender plate u get charged for a bbq sauce. I would understand if u wanted ten but one doesn’t even come with a ten dollar meal.

Nasty! The meats had something nasty all over them with nothing to wipe your hands with. Boxes and trash blocking your way while guys stand around chatting. Then when you try to bring it up at a register saying you wanted to talk to someone you get called a Karen. So not only is the place nasty and dangerous(slipped on plastic) if you try to say something you get called names for being it up.

I gave this store in Tillmans corner on Hamilton and hwy 90, 5 stars a year ago, but, after what happened today.....I have to re-evaluate.I was having trouble getting my card to work. My son had sent some money but only enough for a couple of items that he wanted and I stopped to get them since his car was not working. So after 2 tries I said I would step to the side and figure it out with call and get back in line. The cashier was patient with me and helped me as much as she could in this situation. She gave me some sort of receipt where all I had to do was let her rescan it and I could just pay. Well card still not working on 3rd try. So I said well ill figure it out and get back in line again, while I was checking to make sure the card wasn't locked. Well she wasn't having any part of this, she came around the counter saying something about , I will take care of this don't you worry.She started punching in numbers on the keyboard and I realized she was GIVING me the food. And not just the one loaf of bread the 1$ butter and w lbs of sugar, but the 3 tuna packs and the second load of bread that was also on special. I reached over and tried to stop her, to push her hands away but she was like a line backer! She help me with one hand and punched keys with the other. And I said,, No, I help others, others don't help me.That's when I BROKE DOWN. Yeah, it was only $8 worth of food. But I had literally. 02 cents in the bank. She didn't know this. I also, have been having a rough time, my car had a title pawn my wedding ring is in the pawn shop, and so much more is just going wrong and costing me money daily.What I am trying to say is her huge, kind wonderful heart, touched my soul and it opened a fountain. I cant describe why, or what but it was awful, wonderful and sould cleaning.I sat in my car until my sobbing passed and drove to my sons and gave him the food to feed his family and he said use the $7 for gas and gave me 1 of the loaves of bread..I just graduated college and tried to start a business and it is eating us alive so, when I say, this little , tiny lady, with the HUGE heart ❤ made my day, this is saying A LOT!!!!THANK YOU AMBER! Nice people. Very nice store with an excellent selection. EBT accepted. Very clean Isles very quick to clean up. I just wish the hours were a little bit better. Conveniently located in between other businesses. Close to Theodore High School. Conveniently located off of Highway 90. With a fresh market produce place across the street and a Family Dollar down the road liquor stores located across the street as well. The License Commissioner of Theodore is also located across the street. As well as a Goodwill. Overall good place I wouldn't mind coming back anytime. Parking lot is nice and tidy. Not too far away from and Sea Island. Has fresh produce Bakery good selection of alcohol. Did I mention that accept EBT that's always nice. The employees won't hesitate to help you no matter what your question is.

Cashier was very nice and made small talk while serving me and recommended a beach nearby when she saw I was from out of state. She gave me the member discount which made the prices a bit better. While she was ringing me up another cashier came over and bagged all my stuff and double baged what needed it. Thanks Bonnie and your coworkers. I got a nice looking ribeye for $8.69 a pound. Heck yeah I like it!

I do most of my grocery shopping at Foley Winn-Dixie. I'm so familiar with the layout and they seem to have great prices on the weekly fresh Staples I need most.
