Super super disappointed. Houses is usually great with food. I ordered the shrimp fettuccine about 3 weeks ago for a Christmas eve party tonight. I am preparing to serve it and it is Bone dry and BURNED!!! NOW I have to remove it, buy ingredients and hurry to try to salvage it. Super disappointing and $72 (after taxes) wasted!!

ROUSES ADD SAYS ST Louis ribs for sale for $1.88 lb thru March 6 . This is on the internet. I go to store an all I see is baby back ribs for 1.88. meat man says no ST Louis ribs on sale. I told him the add says that they are on sale. Why run me down to the store for nothing.Tom Sullivan

At one POINT I almost STOPPED coming to Rouses reason Covid had just hit, ONLY had 1 cashier and a bagger and some stockers during the time of my visit, had what appeared to be 2 managers standing at the return desk and I guess it was the other cashier that would be working, at this TIME Rouses had a great sale my reason for always coming HERE, so the line started to get longer and customers getting frustrated, I understood bc the cashier and the bagger were young, so the people that was in front of me and behind me I excused myself told them I’m about to go and get HELP so as I get to the counter I asked the guy manager about someone helping your cashier out bc this makes no sense with two of y’all behind the counter and another one waiting to count a register, as I walked away a lady manager asked what the PROBLEM was and I explained to her ma’am you see these kids out here struggling and NOT one person came to HELP them, and please do NOT get an attitude bc I’m one to write reviews and call cooperate bc this is my HARD earned money that I’m bringing to your place of employment to keep you with a job, after that I proceed to go back to the line and told the people that held my place that someone is coming to HELP, so as the cashier proceeds to come to her register she had an attitude and that drew the straw, so me I went home and called and HO and sure enough I received a phone call back immediately and that what made me continue to give them my money bc of the swift response that should’ve been HANDLED at the store.

Always clean floors, aisles are free from stock. There are plenty of open lanes with cashiers ready to check you out with your purchase. And the wine and beer selection is the best. I love going there. The atmosphere is great 👍

The baby back ribs they had on sale looked horrible. 99 cent a lb but we're nothing but fat and Bone looks like. Not a good deal. I would of expected better from Rousses. Waiting 15 minutes to bring them out I was so unhappy..

The employees here are really nice. The whole store is well run, especially the seafood department. I do like the sausage selection. Everything you need to make red beans and rice can be found here. Ok prices,too. The deli section has some yummy stuff, and frequently one may find free samples.

Disappointed that the butchers declined to debone chicken thighs I was buying. He said we sell deboned chicken thighs. I told him I want the skin on for a special recipe and to keep the bones for my own bone broth. "They don't have time".Old sale markers on products which is misleading to the customer.

Nice place love the sushi. Overall such a great selection of all the products you love to shop for. Very clean and if something is dirty they are quick to get to it. All of the employees are awesome all you need to do is ask and they are quick to help you do anything you would like to do. They also accept EBT with such a great thing and says he's hard times and everybody and their mother is on it. No mask required which is a must for me because that's awesome. No one should be forced to wear masks if they don't want to that's just my personal belief and if you don't believe it go I don't live under a rock. They also have fresh produce fresh sushi good selection of drinks and alcohol. Overall it's very great place and I will always be glad to come back and Shop here.

4/5 for highly overpriced specific items and wait times in line can go from 2 minutes to 15 easily.Otherwise , great store. Clean. Polite workers. Amazing sushi shop inside, and bakery has good selection. They do their best to keep the parking lot clean even though people litter there often. I enjoy using this marketplace.

I am from NJ and was visiting my family in Alabama and needed to take my mother to the grocery store to stock up. And I mean stock up as in 2 grocery carts overflowing with groceries. We split the list in half and went about filling our carts. My mother is in her 70s and is tiny and slow so I finished my part of the list well before she had even gotten halfway through hers so I took a few items from her list and went and got them. By the time I got back a young lady who works for Rouses had approached my mom and asked if she could help her get the items on her list and even asked if she could push the cart for her because by now the cart and its contents weighed at least double what my little mom weighed. The employee was patient, helpful and friendly and knowledgeable about where everything was. I am thankful to that young lady and happy Rouses employs people like her who are so helpful to the elderly.

I like this store. Some say their prices are high but they seem about the same as most grocery stores on an average. The best part to me is selection, their meat selections are a wide range as well are the prices so you have a variety of price ranges to choose from instead of every packaged meat etc being 1 of 2 prices and weights.They also have pre made packaged meals ready to take home and cook, plenty of seafood too.And some of the lowest prices on soft drinks, soda. With a wide range of coffee flavors at a good price as well.You should try the flavor Pecan, it's like pralines but not so sweet and a perfect flavor coffee to me.The friendly employees make me feel welcome every time I stop in. They have good selection to chose from in most categories and I've found that many items are lower in price than other stores near by.

I Love Rouses especially the Boiled Crawfish. Today I went in and the guy said that the crawfish would be ready in 20 minutes well an hour later luckily some other girl came up and served us crawfish because the guy couldn’t have cared less. He kept saying 20 more minutes and just looked at us like we were crazy. He needs another job that doesn’t deal with waiting on people.

This location has been out of items a lot lately and they advertise a cake or something in the deli .. When you try to buy it , the employee said it’s not in stock.. I ordered two honey bourbon chickens online and try to pick them up. The employee said they never sold that item before. This location needs to do better….

My first time in Rouses. They are known for seafood and they lived up to that. Got some great oysters at a reasonable price. I appreciated the man behind the seafood counter offering help. They had brands I had never heard of before. I had just come in for the oysters. But, I wound up with far more at checkout. They are high. But, no more than Publix is. Only thing I found odd was how small a space the store was overall. It appeared crammed in with a huge amount of items. But, I definitely will be going back. I enjoyed my initial visit.

The overall store was clean. Deli employees was very helpful on ordering food for catering. She took The time to tell me about what all I was ordering showed me the portion sizes of the containers. Even help suggesting foods to order to help With feeding all the guest for our venue. The bakery was just as helpful. All the employees seemed to Genuinely care about helping. The service is beyond what you would expect from a grocery store. The manager was out on the floor greeting people and helping the other employees that was needing help. The variety of fresh fruits and vegetables was superb. I love the shopping experience every time we go there.

I’ve been shopping there for years. It has great meats and nice fresh fruits and vegetables. I’ve never been disappointed in what I’ve bought there. It’s a very pleasant store to shop in and clean. The people who work there are friendly. They are also very helpful. They have an area you can buy a meal and eat there they also have a place in the back to buy fresh cooked seafood and other items fixing in seasoning.They have great sales on their meats and that’s one of the main reasons I go. I trust it to be fresh and good not preserved like some other places. There are places closer to where I live I’ll get some can items or some little things I need but for my main shopping this is my store

Good selections of quality items that can be hard to fine. Helpful friendly staff. Deli variety of outstanding options are of great quality. Bakery staff will help you please even your little ones desire for a birthday cake of their dreams. Produce is quality maintained. They always want to help you find what your looking for in store and will try to locate that thing you can't find any where else from cleaning product to speciality teas.

This store and their associates are awesome anytime i shop here it is pleasant experience. They have employees there that have been there long before this location was a rouses. Customer service is always on point and i never see associates standing around doing nothing to help their customers. I know the prices are somewhat higher then walmart but i suggest shopping here before going to Wal-Mart.

Call the store before going to see if they carry the item carrot juice the young lady said yes. I look on the juice aisle (no carrot juice) went back to the service desk, young lady asked the manager and he replied to her > I can go look in the produce section instead of going over to check himself needless to say I was very disappointed along with the wasting gas. Normally the customer service it's good but unfortunately very poor today

I love their rotisserie chicken salad. I have had it twice in the last 6 weeks. I go by almost every day on my lunch break, just to see they dont have it. What is the deal???? Why if its your best chicken salad you would not have it every day??
