Lovely little hometown market. They had almost everything I was looking for. The only thing missing was a specific type of Goat Cheese, and it was not a big deal for me. Prices are a bit higher than I am used to. Clean and friendly staff. I would recommend going here to 1) support your local small business owner, 2) to find everything you need heading your way to the island.

This place is simply Highway robbery. The prices are sky high and the personnel are unfriendly and actually yell at customers. The young deli manager on Friday evening was rude, ignorant and obviously felt entitled. I’m done with this place.

Deli closed more than open for pizza. 3pm and closed. Can't tell you how many time times happens but its more often than not.

Check your receipts and their prices-the last 3 times I shopped there ,what i was charged was much higher than what it was supposed to be-also chicken wings supposed to be fresh- when i asked the butcher Aaron he said they were fresh until he froze them!!A few weeks ago they had Grapes on sale -Big store wide sale published and on their store flyer-Manager said sale was the past weekend until I showed him the flyer proving him wrong - did he really not know the date of this big sale?Because of where they are , I guess they feel they have a captured customer base.

Picked up a fish dinner with a side of mashed potatoes from the deli, and their homemade shrimp salad. The fish was hot and tasty and the mashed potatoes where well seasoned, but the shrimp salad was awesome, I could have ate the whole thing by myself. It's a little pricey but we'll worth it.

It's conveniently located and has a friendly staff. They have great deals on different meats depending on the week and a nice selection to choose from.

Being from the midwest I was completely overwhelmed by the prices, and I walked across the store several times looking for my friends that I came with. Not once did an employee stop me and ask if I needed help. $14.55 for a watermelon blew my mind, but the issue came at the checkout. There were 2 women in the line ahead of me. The first paid for her groceries with cash and the checker couldn't make change without the register telling her how much. The second paid with three twenty dollar bills, and the checker gave her back change from fifty, two twenties and a ten, which we all saw was wrong, and the lady said, oh ok, I thought I gave you 60, not 50. Lastly it came to me so I am watching extremely close at the pricing etc. She rings up a couple items, then picks up the first item she rang and rang it up a second time. I stopped her and had her remove the overcharge. She continued and then I inserted my debit card and requested 20 cash back on the machine. She was just about to close the drawer when I reminded her I was getting cash back, and she replied in a snotty condescending voice that she didn't forget. I left it alone and just walked out of the store. Several patrons remarked to me about her bad attitude on my way out of the store. If I go back I will wait for another checker. I don't need that kinda garbage in my life. Not a great impression from the young lady on my first 20 minutes in Alabama in my way to Dauphin Island.

Just moved out this way and happened on this jewel! Really nice grocery, good prices for Mobile and cost close to half for fresg meat as opposed to Walmart in general and nice ladies at the register. It cost half

Store stays well stocked and prices are competitive since they are the closest ones to the island. Glad they have self checkout now which a great improvement. Go ahead and stop in for all your needs before proceeding to the island for fun in the sun!

Obviously the prices aren't going to beat Walmart consistently, but that's not why you're going to a place like this. So with that in mind, this little grocery store is excellent. Well stocked, friendly employees, and a small town vibe. I will definitely be coming back.

Great grocery experience! We ordered our groceries online (we’re visiting from another state) and picked them up today. Outstanding customer service! Order was correct, care had obviously been given to pick out quality items. I would highly recommend!!

The worst prices we have seen so far. Price gouging is terrible down here. Taking advantage of people. Even the locals I talked to said to go somewhere else.

Not a very friendly atmosphere to shop in. I'm from out of town I stopped in on my way to Dauphin Island and the personnel was very rude, prices were extremely high. That was the last time I will ever go to Greers! Unbelievable! It's really sad that the new generation of children can't appreciate their inheritance. Mr. &Mrs. Greer where remarkable people of our community. Unfortunately it stopped there.

The deli staff is so rude! GREAT food and other employees but one of Greer’s great selling points is there inexpensive deli. If they continue to employ the staff they have now, no one will eat there. You do not roll your eyes at customers when they ask a question or slam your utensils down because YOU couldn’t hear us!

A good market with a hot deli that includes daily specials, hot wing bar and salad bar. Eat in or take out. Mondays is a busy stock day so a bit of an obstacle course. Additional health items available next to pharmacy. Also includes in-store entrance to Ace Hardware and includes outdoor ice machine and gas station.Visiting the island? Last chance for groceries. Entrance from gas station side or in store to liquors. Separate beer room in the back. 😉

Very nice surprise. Needed some food for our camping trip and decided we would stop and get a couple of things knowing it would pricey. Well we were wrong! Very nice selection of anything you may need and prices were very good. Meat selection was very good

This Place usually has something that will work for the application . I work on projects in the eve & night and relied on it being open till 9 . But now they close @ 8 so I will be finding another store. Doesn’t cost much to keep the lights on another hour.

Nice size grocery attached to an Ace Hardware. We were able to get everything we needed to replenish in the RV. It may be a little more expensive than our normal neighborhood grocery store, but it was definitely convenient.

I've always been iffy on this particular Greer's. There's a few employees that actually engage in conversation and are super sweet. But there's more employees that just make it obvious they don't want to be there. Just very poor attitudes. But shout out to the super sweet ones. And the like ONE male who always makes me laugh

Love this place. And now with Ace hardware added to the shopping it's just perfect. They have a pharmacy..deli..bakery.western union.and fuel pumps. Also they have order online and easy pickup or delivery.

Very convenient for visitors to the island area. Prices are a tad bit higher than what you'd expect to pay inland, but not awful. Nice facility!

This is a true grocery store in an area where there isn't any others. You can get almost anything you want from them and they have a good deli. Their fried chicken is excellent.
