4 stars...not 5 because the self checkout registers hate me and are stoopid... "take the item out of the bagging area", after I paid. "Put the item in the bagging area", before paying. Then it locks up until someone comes over and counts every item..

I don't know about money saver...... the store is all outta sorts... not a lot of choices for many items. Prices are pretty high. I have been many times during our stay, and it is getting easier, but still need to get staples from another store. It is very convenient for us. The employees are very nice.

I like that they're involved in the community and helping others.I also like their business model how they operate for a flat profit rate and a lot of their stores are in areas that are underserved by the giant retailers who don't see a big enough profit margin in those areas.And of course they've got Lucy!

Way over priced on everything, but the staff is friendly enough. I went in looking for some lunch. I was in need of something that was already cooked or that I could eat without heating and sadly the options were not great. I ended up buying 2 pieces of dried up, overcooked chicken for $8. Needless to say, but I won't be making that mistake again.

Purchase a Stihl MS 170 16" from the Ace Hardware at this location. Super friendly people, they worked with me to find the right chainsaw for my project. They fueled and added chain bar oil and showed me how to start and operate it. Explain the warranty and that if I ever have any issues they are an onsite service center. Very pleasant buying experience.

I am an invalid. I called customer service in the store and ask if anyone could bring me something to drink. A lovely young lady named Rhonda came to my car, went back into the store and got a soda for me. She was kind and considerate and very welcoming.

Fully stocked grocery store close to Dauphin Island! They had everything on our list. The prices were higher than we were used to paying typically. But they were cheaper than the store on the island.

Very interesting having a Shell gas station, Greer's grocery store and Ace hardware all in one stop. Very shortfalls groceries and they had well-stocked shelves! Love the Christmas decor, too

The store is always clean, well maintained and stocked. The employees are friendly and most greet you by name when you walk in. The food in the deli is delicious as well, albeit a bit pricy.

Their prices are a little higher but they have a huge selection of food products and all sorts of needed/wanted items. The employees are always polite and very helpful.

If you want to see a place that holds a monopoly and takes complete advantage of it Greer's is the place. If you want to see a retail grocery store that holds their clientele in complete contempt. Greers is the place. If you want to see a consistently filthy store with second-rate meat and overpriced wilted vegetables greers is the place. If you could imagine a grocery store with the food prices of a convenience store but less customer service fewer cash registers and more General hatred for the General public, greers is the place.

First of all ace has better prices than lowe's on alot of stuff. Sometimes this includes lumber. They stay in stock on basically everything. Would highly recommend going especially if your from the island and are thinking about going somewhere in Mobile or tilmans corner.

I bought my fishing license in there the manager that helped us was great only took her just a couple of minutes for us to fill out the applications and get our fishing licenses then we went fishing yay

Stopped by to get some deck boards.Lumberyard boy went irrate after I climbed 1 ft. Up to reach the lumber.Then some female came up like Barney Fiffe to show me who was boss,LOL...

I love Greer's, they have great deals, friendly and helpful employees and this one HAS A HARDWARE STORE. Take the wife shopping and check out that new drill 10/10 always a pleasure shopping here
