They just prey on irresponsible owners, and have zero interest of keeping dangerous dogs off the street. If your dog gets out and kills someone's child's pet don't worry, because you can get them back for just $50. It's sad that the people have to take care of the issue instead of calling the actual service that have a job for this purpose. They are just a sorry excuse for their position. One of the many reasons this city has gone in the dumps.

Super nice, hard working folks. Wish someone would donate them some land, larger building, funds, etc. I've fostered with another rescue with them. They love the animals...but are clearly pack to the rim with animals. They accept donations of food, etc. Building is beyond the railroad tracks, first right. Through a gate at end if road. Maps didn't bring me to it

They are wonderful people working here. I would tell anybody that can open your home and open your heart to these loving animals that didn't ask to be born in this world, but we can open our homes and our hearts and if you can't adopt them, then if you can open your wallet to donate or bring food or supplies that are needed. Please care for these fur babies .

For the Dogs

Adopted a wonderful dog from this shelter. The staff was very friendly and helpful in choosing the right dog for my lifestyle. They also send a lot of dogs to rescue groups which help those dogs find great homes.

I reported a malnourished canine and they have yet to check on the poor thing! It’s been a month. Before that I reported an animal deceased after being caged with no food or water. They told me it was my fault for not reporting neglect before it died. Well I’m reporting it now!! Where are they now? Yes, my neighbors are terrible but so is this sorry company for letting things like this happen!

If you call about picking up a dog that is aggressive to children and driving all the neighbors crazy by be disruptive and coming eating your animal's food. They will come and pick up your kid friendly dog that slips of a chain for 5 seconds. When asked why they pick up your dog and not the other that have been reported multiple times by multiple people they respond with they can't catch them, but mine is fair game because he was running at large and friendly

Lovely shelter to work with. The shelter manager works closely with rescue groups all over the country as well as Canada to get dogs and cats into safe places.

Unfortunately at this time they are overwhelmed with cats and dogs that they can't get anyone to adopt and no other place to send them. They are a no kill shelter.

I called in about 4 puppies about 6 or 7 months in a 4x4 kennel with no shelter. It's so cold and they still have not done anything!

This place is horrible. They hurt the dogs. Our dogs never did nothing wrong. And they were very RUDE.

The people that work here really care about animals. They are underfunded and overwhelmed by dogs and cats that people abandon. There is a whole room of feral cats. Please go get one for your barn.
