Dollar General in Sylvania is always great. Very friendly people always willing to help. Store is clean with nothing blocking the aisles. Some issues with out of stock items but it's the same as every where else currently.

Typical Dollar General. Some good deals and very friendly staff. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because management does not schedule very well and it leaves customers frustrated when they need help and there is only one employee running the store alone and you have to find them to ask a question which they do their very best, but it's impossible to do all the daily duties of running the store and assisting/checking out customers and stocking shelves alone with no one to help out. That's not an employee issue that is a management issue! You can't be a team player if you have no coach! They definitely do not have a coach or a full team!

Always fast service. Park outside the store and you are in and out fast. Store could use to be tidied up a bit.Updated 11.20: another fast in and out. Store was in good shape. Aisles are rather tight but that is the norm for DG.

The Sylvania store is always a mess you have to move stock just so you can see what is on the shelf. The people who are working don't speak to you when you walk in.

Sylvania Dollar General is devoid of humanity. Staff called law on hungry girl who stole bologna. Cops broke her arm. SHE WAS JUST HUNGRY! Give her some food u so called Christian! Cop should be done worse than what happened to the girl. Needs all his bones broke for his brutality. Uphold law!? It was a farce.

Very crowded. Trying to put to much in a small building, same as most Dollar General stores. Prices look good until you notice how many items are in the box compared to other stores.

They had what I needed and the employees were actually pretty helpful compared to the usual DG folks. Not that they're usual rude, they're just not real friendly in most stores I've been to.

I love going to the Sylvania Dollar General they have great service!! Mostly l love going knowing that Nakota will be there to serve me, she is Great Employee and very sweet,and respectful. I love going. Thank u

Great store except some of the staff seem to have an attitude but that could be due to how backed up the lines are ALL the time! Usually one register open and a line that would go out the door!

Dollar General has gotten to where they have just about any thing the big grocery stores have, and for me to go to a local ' grocery ' store, it's 11 to 15 miles one way, 22 to 30 miles round trip, so yea Dg saves you money and time.

Definitely one of the better stores. Like all of the rest of Dollar Generals you do have to wait to check out. Those poor cashiers! Not their fault.

All the local dollar generals in this area are like a mini Walmart that has friendly people working lots of cheap stuff good in a pinch and a great place to pickup snacks.
