Courteous staff, clean and organized store. The store had ample parking and the restrooms were also clean as well. The bathrooms had baby changing stations which is needed for anyone with little kiddos. This is a good location to shop at Walmart as compared to other locations in other towns.

I dropped my truck off today at 12:30pm to have the tires rotated and balanced. It took quite a while for them to come over to the customer station and get my information and keys. It took them 3.5 hours to finally get finished with my truck. I arrived at the tire and lube shop at 4:30 and after a 30 minute wait I finally got to leave. I have never seen such a sense of “I don’t care attitude and none sense of urgency “ at any Walmart location. I tried to call the store 6 times trying to get a manage on the phone to speak with and never got an answer. The Sylacauga store is the worst of any Walmart store around.

NO DEPT WOULD ANSWER PHONE EXCEPT THE PHARMACY! I called at 630 on a Wednesday trying to order a meat tray from deli. The website DID NOT give a option to view meat trays or any food catering options! Everytime I called, the Deli & Bakery Dept, phone would ring, then they would hang up on me. The pharmacy answered the phone & tried to transfer me and still was hung up on. I ordered the meat tray from Publix!! A very polite and helpful employee answered & helped me immediately!I have had a NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE AT THIS STORE EVERYTIME I SHOP HERE. The self checkout employees are ALWAYS NICE, POLITE & HELPFUL! I will not shop here anymore. The Chelsea store is 30 miles from my house, but that store is clean. Courteous & Helpful Employees!!

I HATE WALMART!!! I counted TEN employees standing at the front of the store chatting but NOT ONE register open. Then, after having to be an unpaid employee, they have the nerve to make you stop at the door so they can check each item as if you’re a thief! If you’re so concerned about theft, GET ON A REGISTER AND SCAN THE ITEMS YOURSELF! It’s a waste of honest people’s time.

2023 Update: bread was moldy, not just one pack but almost ALL of the pita bread was moldy.2019: The facility itself is okay, everything seemed to be in good repair for the most part, it is a walmart. The problem is with the amount of goods for purchase, with the current problems with the supply chain there was very little chicken to choose from.

I showed up at 10:45 and they said they were “closed” I understand it because I also work in customer service but that dosent give them the right to close 15 minutes early when I had to grab one thing .

What can you say that will actually get them to listen?Friendlier employees. Cross trained inpther areas of the store so they don't hVlave to say, sorry not my department and not sure where to l9ok,or we don't have it and leave, then I find it out of place. Take better care of your flower garden. So many times I want to buy plants for my home & my fl9wer shop, but most are dying or dead, wilted from lack of water and soil too dry.

They make me feel like a criminal for shopping at Walmart always wanting to see my receipt. Like who is out here stealing wood chips? They also never have enough registers open. This is going to be my last trip to Walmart period. Piggy wiggly here I come!!!!

Walmart garden center in Sylacauga Alabama were throwing away healthy perfectly good plants in huge lawn & leaf garbage bags. I asked the lady that was throwing plants away in huge lawn bags if they would discount the plants or give them away They could've been taken to assisted living or nursing homes. She said no employees would get in trouble if they gave the plants away instead of throwing them in the dumpster. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Unbelievable

&UPDATE$ 3/24/24 While checking out our cashier STOPPED WHAT SHE WAS DOING TO HELP A PERSON that looked a little diffrebt than I do (maybe had a good tan idk) and left us standing there for 3 or 4 minutes while she walked her to service desk to help her with her problem instead of waiting til she finished with our check out. Just lost 2 stars in this one! $Update$ 7/9/23 they have just about finiahed their upgrade and place feels cleaner so ill a extra⭐️ Walmart is Walmart but this one has more than it's share of "colorful individuals" from every walk of life! I seen one person that had hooves instead of feet.....yes sounds impossible but it's true. They are in the middle of a refurbishment/ updating process so it'll be cleaner than before. #UpDaTe# 6/6/23- It seems it'll take another 2 years to finish its updating, it seems like it has been a year already!

Always a hassle every time you go in the store. The people are not friendly and service is below standards . Would be better if they closed the doors bc no one wants to help . This includes managers who seem to be bothered you asked for a moment of their attention to address customers issues . Constructive criticism is part of the public service industry and those around here do not like anything being asked about or addressed to improve satisfaction for us the Customer. Seems to be about taking our money now and who cares if we have problems or would like certain items available in the store .

Gonna take awhile to get adjusted to how they have rearranged the store. Nothing is where you think it should be or where it used to be. Wish they had more cashiers open on the registers. I hate having to scan and bag my own items. And if I have to then I feel like I should be getting some kind of discount.

Why do you have people checking recipes at the door but they don't check everyone. Please put people back to work running the cash registers and you would not have to check my recipes everything I go out the door. I paid!! Now I think you should pay me everything I have to check myself out due to you not having enough employees. My hourly rate is not no 7.50 an hour either.

I was just into this store an hour ago and the first thing that me my husband and my brother in law are greeted with is one of your male employees with dreads who looks like he is high looks at us and goes I have the perfect costume for you keep in mind all 3 of us are white and he comes back from the halloween section wearing a ghost face mask that was really ballsy being so blatantly racist to 3 customers the minute we walk in will not be coming back here thanks to said employee.

I cannot believe that I have been standing at the fitting room waiting for someone to show up to let me in for over 25 minutes now. There was a lady with her son here already waiting for 20 minutes, and nothing. She had her so. Try the clothes right out here. What a shame Walmart! Several employees tried to get me help. But still waiting. FINALLY… someone showed up that just started her shift. Where is management during all this time????

Honestly I hate going to this place it's always like it's an inconvenience to the employees that you're there the shelves are never stocked and are always out of the product I did not know what happened to the Walmart brand but it is really going downhill

The Walmart Pickup in Sylacauga is abysmal. There is absolutely no reason they have 89,000 pickup parking spots, the parking lot empty, and still take 78 years to bring the order out then be rude too. Preposterous!

Can't keep stocked EVER. Always out of food items that I would consistently buy (if they ever had it on the shelves that is). This is without a doubt the sorriest Walmart I have ever seen. I would give it 0 stars if I could. I pray that they have what I'm wanting to get and they do maybe 1 time out of 10 times I'd go. And an update. Worse now more than ever before. Forced to re-ring all my previously rang items bc I asked an associate to remove an item that I was short on money to pay for. Very rude and not helpful. Thanks guys. Can't say I'm surprised but still. Do better, please.

Always moving stuff around and it would be nice to actually have a real person to run the registers. The self checkouts has a person to make sure you do steal while you do their job. I try to avoid this store unless absolutely have to go.
