The store in Sumiton is being remodeled and everything is not where it usually goes, so be careful when you are shopping and don't run into something! As always, Walmart is easy to get in to, but a pain in the butt to get checked out. No, I do not like the self checkout and there usually may be only 1 or 2 cashier checkouts open. I think in the near future there may only be self checkout, but don't look for any benefit coming to you from this. Are prices going to drop when they eliminate dozens of jobs? I don't think so, how long do you think it will take for someone to checkout that has groceries for several people, two or three shopping cartsOK. I am done ranting, won't do any good anywhere! Ha! Nuff said...

Took all the frozen vegetarian food away. We already had a small selection, now it’s just non existent. I understand it’s not a very popular diet around the sumiton area, but I figure walmart being as big name as they are could at least have left the little spot we had to get food from. Very disappointed.

Worst store for delivery or shipping of groceries for people without transportation!!!! One star Placed unavailable items in my cart, had to delete, switches delivery items to pick up!!! Had to delete...I lived in Calhoun county before I moved here a month ago..and I got everything I ordered delivered...what's wrong with this area!!!! My friend I moved in with shops at dollar general for his so called groceries, that's not a grocery store ..no fresh meats or whatever.. why have a delivery service...maybe good thing Wal marts are shutting down !!! Waste of my online shopping!!!!! Finally rode with a friend to get groceries. Typical Walmart store inside..just shopped for groceries. Checked out at register with cashier. About a 10 min wait in line ..not too bad. Employee helped with showing me where kiwis were ..

Lots of clearance. Got exactly what I went to get. Loving it. Shelves were stocked. Friendly courteous employees. Store was cleaned bathrooms sanitized. Absolutely enjoyed my day shopping with Wal-Mart. Great job. I most certainly appreciate each and everyone tOf you. For all u do. Thank you

The Walmart itself is nice. Small, with less selection than the one in Jasper, but everything is easy to find. Be prepared for the family reunions in the middle of the aisles and the parking lot. Opt for grocery pickup if you are in a hurry.

I was told on. 11/14 I would receive a email with info about my refund within 7 / 10 days.it it is now 12 / 5 I have probably spoken with someone including supervisors who assured me it was being escalated with the billing department. Two of the names were Saint and Sophia . I have a fractured back and need this money. I went to Sumiton Walmart and purchased a set of tires for my truck. Everything went great. A week or so later I received a phone call from the manager. He told me that they owed me some money. He said that their register in the automotive department had an overage on the day I had purchased my tires. He reviewed the camera footage and seen where the cashier had given me my receipt but not my change and the overage was the amount of my change. That's service and honesty, that's unbeatable. Thanks

This is a complaint concerning the auto department. I went in today to get tires. I was not greeted at all and when I asked a question the man was very rude. This would be my second time dealing with this particular worker and each time he behaved in a very rude and non helpful way. I do believe it had a lot to do with my race. I asked him if he could see on his computer if Jasper Walmart had the tires I was looking for. For some reason that upset him and he told me I can go look myself. Then he walked away and refused me service. I never got an attiude with him and I never raised my voice. I don’t want to see anyone lose their job but maybe he shouldn’t be the one talking to customers they should get someone else to do that.

You can do a grocery pick up at Jasper Walmart and it take them 35-50 minutes to bring it out or you can come to Sumiton and do a pick up and get it with in 5 minutes. I sat in my car for 5 min after I got my order, to let my son get out of his car seat for a minute and I had two separate employees come to check on me to make sure I had gotten my order!

I love the Walmart pickup it's great don't have to deal with anybody want to get out in the heat except to unload it very nice very convenient big fan. They're always very fast with their service and I must say all my items are always nicely package they're not overloaded in bags. Shout out to all the pickup delivery employees!!! This store is very disorganized and it was difficult to navigate due to employees stocking in the middle of the day. Some food selections are very good, but others are not so much. The positive was that the self-checkout employee was friendly.

It good, the service was great. They have some fresh produce, the app could help you locate items if you're new into this specific store or others. I ended up finding a bag of beans opened, which is definitely not good.

They always have what I'm looking for at the best price. By far the best place to shop in my area. They are in the middle of renovations right now so you have to sorta navigate through the workers,but it's not so bad.
