This little hardware store has some things that you can't find anywhere else. Especially older household parts. I have an older fuse box with the screw in fuses. Guess where I found those style fuses?

I tell u one thing bought some hay. I'm glad it was for dog houses it was weeds twigs and only weighed around 10 pounds dry as a powder house . not a good place to get hay. And a about 3 years ago took a propane bottle to fill and guy looked out window at tank and said that bottles bad I ain't gonna fill it funny thing is I just had it checked and had 2 years left on date

Selection is decent and their always open when everyone else has closed for the day so that's a plus. Prices are a bit higher than their competitors but being locally owned and ran I would expect that. Good folks willing to help with any questions you may have.

Last 2 times I went in, I've left with the wrong thing after being assured it was right. Had to make another trip to get the right thing for real, twice! Not so helpful hardware folks. The guy does a lot of "eyeballing" instead of taking measurements.

A few months ago I went in and ask the folks that work there what would be the best way to secure 2 4 wheelers and 2 go carts. We looked at some chains and some locks. And then decided to try a 6 ft cable that had a lock built in. The fella told me that it should work. Since it was $21, I asked that if it didn't work would it be OK to return it, of course they said it would be fine. The next day I went in and purchased over $90 in chain and a lock. I had forgot to bring the $21 cable/lock with me. So the following Sunday I took the cable/lock back in, picked out about $60.00 in lawn tools that I needed and attempted to return the $21 cable/lock. They informed me that the manager/owner told them not to accept any returns. He wasn't there. If you can not trust your employees to make common sense decisions in your absences, you should look for new employees. I know its just $21.00. However, over $21 Ace Hardware has lost my business....

Jason and Josh are the most knowledgeable hardware people in the area...also customer service is top notch, you walk in the door and are greeted and your needs are met, they know the facility inside and out and you never hear maybes and I don't knows....save your gas don't drive to jasper stop here and support the small town businessman

a nice man gave my little brother with down syndrome a mask and micah also so happen to have his batman costume on and he drew him a picture of batman and micah(my little brother) loved it! definitely not a forgotten moment

This place needs a remodel bad, like 10 years ago it was out dated. They typically have what's needed but it is like stepping into a time capsul.
