No matter when you go they seem to only have one checkout lane open, even if there's several people waiting to checkout. Doesn't appear to be any quick shopping here. I had to edit this review for my shopping trip today. They had both raw hamburger meat and milk for sale past their expiration date. Luckily I skipped the milk wasn't lucky enough to skip the meat. I noticed it was a day past the date when I hot home. I opened the pack and sure enough it smelled off. Tofay will be the last day I shop here.

I walked into the store and saw the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in the history of women I’ve seen. I don’t even know her name but she has red hair and a crystal necklace she was so beautiful and she’s so magnificent 😭🙏🏼

Customer Service was lacking this afternoon when I went there. There were some pretty coolers outside with no price on them. One of the employees possibly a manager was standing outside so I asked her how much they were. She said I don't know, they dont have a price on them out here. Sorry. Her demeanor showed that it was inconvenient for me to ask her this question. I took it inside and the girl at the register scanned it for me in her app (something I didn't know you could do). It took her 30 seconds! But apparently the manager didnt have 30 seconds, or 10 seconds to tell me that I could scan it if I download the app.

Stopped in to grab a few items. It must have been the wrong day because the girl that checked me out today was rude. When I said thank you have a nice day she just grunted.

Been shopping at this store for nearly 2 years and I have to say I’ve enjoyed my trips more in the last few weeks than I have sense I moved to Slocomb. I haven’t much cared for any of the employees there except for the little girl that works in produce until recently! Register one... her name speaks for itself! Sunshine!!! It is such a joy to see a smile and personality like hers especially during a time like we are living in. Even if her line is long and no back up comes when she calls she is still smiling, laughing and keeping the mood light with the customers! Unlike the young girl with glasses that seems to always sit in the office because given the last few times I’ve been there and has requested help at 4 customers she’ll come out when there is 5 or more of us in line. This store would be perfect if management would get more people in there with good work ethics and personalities! Hold tight to that sweet girl sunshine on register 1 she’s a blessing to many of us that shop regularly especially night shift nurses like me that are plum exhausted when shopping for our family’s groceries.. she makes a difference in a positive setting! -Debbie

I love the Dollar General Market. There are just enough grocery items in the store so that you won't have to make 2 stops. You'll still be able to get those office supplies or shoes and socks along with whatever you needed from the grocery side of the store. Everything that you will find in a regular Dollar General along with the items you need in a hurry from the grocery store. Good selection of frozen and fresh foods. Plenty of canned and packaged items to choose from. Parking is plentiful and free. A little out of the way but kills two birds with one stone. This is the only Dollar General Market I've been in so I don't know if there are bigger locations elsewhere or if this is the norm. But more than likely you will find what you need right here.

I enjoy this store. Always clean. They have a wide variety of items including groceries such as fruits and meats. I love that they have "manager specials". It have saved me tons on milk and meats.

Everytime I visit this store they NEVER have enough cashiers. I could not tell you the managers name because I have shopped at this store since it opened and never once has he spoke to me. He walks around like he is God's gift to women but the tiny blonde girl that works with him can not leave his side. I will not visit this store at night because there is very little lighting in the parking lot because all the bulbs are out. I think people in this store need to be reminded without us they would not have a job.

I don't like the employees very rude.I go there because I like the store .Everyone I go the employees make me like it less.Today I went and at checkout I get in the shortest line .Well the cashier tells me register 1 is open .I only have 4 little items .So I get out of that line and go to register 1 a lady has a cart half full of stuff and and just starting to check out.Really you are that lazy you can't checkout a small order.Go home it is your job that is what they pay you to do .I don't know your name but long dark hair with glasses I will remember your face .A lady stocking shelves she was very nice and helpful .Thank you.

I just called here to see if they had an item that they had previously carried. I understand that the people who work there rarely know what’s being delivered on their trucks but to be rude about it is inexcusable. The person who I talked to on the phone was short, rude, and didn’t seem to care whether the customer (me) was taken care of or not. This isn’t the first time this has happened either. That being said, I won’t go here again. They have lost my business.

Not a very good visit some places have to remember not all people use their phone for coupons. That's what a newspaper is for. Some people like me aren't able to get on the internet for coupons. Every store should still have to send out salespapers!!!

This DG sucks. Usually one cashier and the line has to be 10 + deep to get another cashier to open. The manager that wrang us up was not pleasent and as Always the customer service here is lacking. What would it hurt to put a smile on your face and be kind. Family Dollar is where it's at.

This location is very nice and clean.this store has alittle bit of everything grocery, clothing,home goods etc.they have a great grocery selection.i love the $5 off $25 deal they have on Saturdays.Mrs.lori is always so nice.

This is an extremely busy store. Store was a mess and the employees were working as fast as they could.DG needs to give the necessary payroll budget needed to truly run these stores.

Check your bags before you leave things are left out unintentionally or on purpose who knows. When you ask them is that everything DO NOT BELIEVE CHECK EVEN IF IT HOLDS UP LINE. If i find things not in my bag gonna ask for manager and his blonde side arm😄😄😄 but better gonna call police THEFT

It's the exact same setup as regular dollar general except the added a couple extra food isles including vegetables, fruits, and alcohol. Oh and added a few more unfriendly and rude cashiers! WAY TO GO!!

THIS IS A LITTLE COUNTRY STORE, THAT LOCAL PEOPLE CAN SHOP AND GET SOME OF THE STUFF THEY NEED , INSTEAD OF GOING A LONG DISTANCE FOR IT, AND IT'S GOOD FOR THE ELDERLY PEOPLE THAT CAN'T DRIVE VERY FAR.
