Nice stop, I’ve been coming here regularly for a couple months now, and this store is always clean.Showers have nice pressure, and are always clean. Nice laundry area, drivers tv area, and game room.The Charley’s is a good food stop.

Good morning my name is Dwhan Brown awww my God this restaurant food so good that was my first time every taste Charle's the fries with the bacon cheese on it I love it the Philly cheese Steak so good my Old Lady worked there her name Tameshia Vinson she tell me she love her Manager name Mr. Dex he very nice to her she tell me all the time she never had job like that in Montgomery Al she not going no where he worked with her teach her how do the worked right way he stand right there with her in the Hired Management she very nice to her all the Crew workers love how she worked they all worked together I Rate the number too 100 Montgomery Al Jobs out of hands the jobs need manager like Charlie's down here he don't play with the Crew members he do wonderful jobs.

This is just a heads up. This Petro has very strict parking rules and has strict security (understandable). There's very few free parking spots while everything else is reserved parking ($20). If you park in the reserve parking just to a quick shower, quick restroom break or for any reason, security will come to you and ask you if you have purchased reserved parking. If you didn't, then they'll tell you to move to the free parking spots, No Excuses Period. Again understandable.

I pay to park at this Petro for one night. I got here at 4:00 p.m. and at 4:00 a.m. I got woke up by security. They went and knocked on every truck's door. I just went back to bed and they didnt knock on my door again. I could literally hear them banging on all the trucks. I checked the app to see how many spots were available only a few were available. Instead of checking to see who is paid they knocked on everybody's door at 4 a.m. Which tells me they did not check their parking lot between 4:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m. and then decide to knock on everyone's door. I think 4:00 in the morning is a little late to be waking everyone up. Most truckers are getting up that early to leave. They should have done that earlier in the night. Makes no sense. I will be calling corporate today. To let them know how their managing the parking at this location.

Big black lady name Takiya Williams.bad manager.Employee there I asked to buy light bulbs for truck paid 16.98 for it. I told her if it doesn’t work can I return. She said yes. When I bring item back because it is not working she said the manager you can only change for same item. Why I shouldI change for same item? Can I get something else ? She said no.Another is pump 2 not working. I told her to block it for other drivers not to waste time . She ignored meManager looked like she want to hit me when I talked to her .You buy something no refundNever come back here againDrivers be careful

Charley's is great. If you get the regular size sandwich with fries...that's close to 5lbs. I wouldn't attempt the large unless you know what's up already. Friendly staff...clean store. I have one small complaint and its not really that bad. Most of the parking is reserved at $20. Currently if you pay to park here, you're going to have to walk to loves to get a shower or use a real restroom. They have porta potties set up. I appreciate that, but I think if your showers and bathrooms are out of the equation , you might as well stay at the rest area or the loves for free. Unless of course, you have an urgency for Philly steak. 😎🤘

Rude employees standing around doing nothing, Showers are supposedly "under construction" during night shift only..... also, was just told that the only bathrooms they have, is a portopotty.... the other reviews for this place are accurate! Either that, or my skins just to white! Anybody would be much better off just parking at a rest area on the interstate!Update: the loves across the street has working Showers, bathrooms, and subway open till midnight!

Very small Peteo. If you're hungry, go elsewhere. This has nothing but a couple hot dogs heating up and some peanuts unless you want to eat out of a package or a few prepackaged items in the small fridge.Luckily, there is a Love's across the street with McD's and Subway. Next door to it a Popeyes. Also, the casino runs a shuttle service and they have food and bar service.The Charley's when if they open on time and don't close early before 8 has overpriced wings and Philly Cheesesteak but the service is so bad no thinking person would trust their hands on the food.I'll try to say something good so yeah, the coffee isn't bad at all. But man cannot live on coffee alone.

The gangster who drives the fork lift around the parking lot trying to hustle drivers, the one that wears the eye patch, needs to go easier with that disrespect. The lady who runs around the parking lot barking orders should follow suit, Loves right across the street, with respectful employees. Petro is a joke

It’s 3 AM, am trying to get diesel and there are 3 women siting outside that refuse to check people out, the store is literally alone and no one to run the registers. I went back to my truck and drove to Loves Travel Center. Avoids this place.

I am a truck driver and I stopped by this Petro today 7-2-23 and the staff here is awesome special kudos to Nicole and Ta. I would personally like to thank Nicole for going above and beyond to provide great customer service to me. I am recommending this truck stop to all my trucker friends so if you are ever in Shorter Alabama stop by this Petro because you will receive awesome customer care.

I wish there was less than one star. I stopped to take a 30 minute break. There were half a dozen reserved spots. So I took one. For 30 minutes. And was harassed by the security guard twice. I buy your fuel. I have my service done at your facilities. For 18 years. I deserve better.

For the past 3 months the restrooms have been closed. Looks like the least they could do is fix the restrooms. I guess they love sending business across the street to Love’s where the restrooms are always open and clean. Just not going to stop at this Petro location any more. It’s just a hassle.

Do not buy anything electronic from this location. They sell products they know do not work and then every employee in the store denies being a manager, and refuse to refund your money. They are crooks. Will never return here. I highly recommend that truckers read all the reviews, and when you realize just how bad this place is boycott it until it is out of business.

Recently on the the road with a truck driver friend of mine who has been at this a couple decades, truck drivers deliver everything we have and need whether it be home furnishings, milk, toilet paper, food, etc. He's been on the road and his food options are nothing!! Restaurants are always closed by the time he gets done and parked sometimes by 7-8pm 7:40pm Charley's already closed, locked up with only fast food options, anything good is miles away. Now he's down to a bag of Lays potato chips and two Sprites for dinner. This is how we treat our truck drivers? Come on people, they take care of us... let's take care of them!!

Small lot with limited parking (both free and reserved). Restrooms currently under construction and have been for months now. Nastiest ever port o johns outside. On the plus side the Charley’s Cheesesteaks are on point. But where do the employees wash their hands with no restrooms?

Great place to fuel and shower when traveling through customer service in in petro filling station needs improvement especially with Mary she needs an attitude adjustment as for the food i belive the morning breakfast could be better but the evening crew was great as well as the food.

Everyone here is super friendly, as it should be in the south. I stopped at the Charley's Philly Steak shop and thought it was pricey, but it was very good, much better than subway for the same price. They certainly aren't stingy with the meat, but my main point of praise is how nice everyone is.

The security is stopping people at the entrance saying "it's 20 dollars cash only" even for the free spots that the corporate site says they have and when asked if there was a receipt they said "naw man" they are making good money charging cash only and putting it in their pocket. I hope BP closes this location and charges them with theft.

My daughters absolute favorite restaurant . The food is amazing & they have an extremely good strawberry lemonade (that is when they aren't acting as if there is a strawberry shortage or trying to save the company money by skimping on the strawberry laden syrup & filling the cup with all the ice in the bin)!!
