Convenient location while traveling. However a serious lack of help in all areas (store, restaurants, and repair shop). Needed to have some repairs done and couldn't because they closed the shop at 7pm. Was told due to being short staffed to come back in the morning. I understand but it is unacceptable especially in trucking where time is valuable.

Mr. Michael LeFleur (check spelling) was awesome! Great customer service, friendly staff and patrons, and well stocked store! McDonald’s and Subway is located within the store as well. Items are a bit overpriced honestly. Gas is cheaper than coming from Atl way. (Check my birthday on the back of the sandwich 🥪 😜) Popeyes and BK is next door, if you’d rather that.

Compared to other Love’s, even the oldest ones, this is a place to avoid for the lack of service, cleanliness, and both of the restaurants are jokes. Employees are far more concerned about loudly yakking to each other, almost to the point of yelling that it’s hard to communicate and obtain their attention!!!! Much less for the customers to talk at a normal tone, or grab an employees attention!!!!I like going to Love’s… However, this location is going down the hill at a record level!Hey corporate!!!! Send some undercover shoppers there if you don’t believe me!!!! They are destroying your reputation and location here in Shorter, Alabama! This location needs to be visited by corporate, and the employees need to understand what corporate policy and culture actually is!!! Why?!? Because, they seem to think they are at a nightclub with how loud they are and what they are talking about. I probably will avoid this location from now on, certainly will not be buying anything from here anymore.Compared to ANY other location, this place is nothing short of the word, disgusting!

This morning I bought milk and started heating food in the microwave. But then an employee of this gas station attacked me and said that I had not paid for it. She started screaming loudly at me. I forgot to take the receipt and had to go with it to check the payment at the cash register. Payment confirmed. The store employee didn't even apologize.

Nice place to stop by for fuel. You can find foods, fruits box, sandwich, burger, ice cream etc. Washroom are clean and the employees are very helpful! You can buy state suvinior stuffs! This is family and kids friendly travel stop!!

This Loves is just as great as all the other Loves, except for the employees that do not want to help people. Also, air machine is broken. They will not give you your money back.

Very poor showers, extremely moldy and not swept which means floors were not mopped as well, shower wasnt cleaned at all. Only good part about them was the hot water. Thry currently only have 4 showers in use and the wait time is ridiculous. They have showers clean bur wont call a # to use them so they dont have to work too hard it seems. Mine was "clean" for over 15 min before they called my number. That is bs considering we are on clocks. Men's restrooms are currently outside in a trailer. Good luck guys...they smelled horrible.

Stopped here for gas and to let our dog out and run some energy off. Dog park is well kept and plenty of room to run compared to other gas station dogs parks. There is no shade, but don't let that deter you. There is a small dog section and a big dog section, both equally the same size. There are trash cans and doggy bags, in case you forgot yours. The breeze is nice and the smell of food lingers on the air.

Good restroom and fuel fill up stop. You can get just about anything from food to clothing. Lots of fuel pumps, air, propane gas and other food places to eat or you can grab a shower!

A usual stop , for fuel and snacks , have been here a few times including tonight when the restroom is broken and key pads are broke on some pumps , and they didn’t bother putting signs on them , and they knew they were broken . This one is a hit and miss on everything. And they do not have laundry machines here .

Saw something here I never see at Loves. Overflowing trash cans in the men's room. While the overall cleanliness of the facility was ok, the men's room in particular was sub par and not up to typical and expected Loves standard. Hopefully it was just a bad night and not the way this place is generally ran. Hopefully.

I pulled an old rookie mistake and trusted my fuel gage a bit too much today and was stuck on 85 in Alabama. A quick call to tge Shorter AL store and they sent Dee out to get me back in motion. Thanks again Dee I appreciate ya good sir!

Very bad customer service worst experience in my 10 years of truck driving career, i stopped here at 1:45 am to get a coffee and some munches after I pay the lady stopped me I think she was a manager ask for if I pay or not I said yes ask with your cashier she said yes he paid already then she ask for receipt which I didn’t take that was only $3 something cashier show her the history in cash register then she said it was my job ,I don’t know why she did this maybe because of my skin color it was very disrespectful

Nice store and restaurants, but there is only one road to get in and out. The only way in when we visited was to go through the gas pumps. The road was blocked with trucks parking along the sides where it says "no parking" making it impossible for two-way traffic. So, if you only want to shower or get something to eat, you'll have to go through the scales or gas pumps to be able to park.

Kenneth in the truck service area on 09/06 around 1600 hr was fantastic. He was multi-tasking between turning showers around, folding towels and helping my husband print some documents for our next load. Kenneth alone is the reason for this 5 star review.The ladies at and around the counter were gossiping and doing nothing productive blocking both registers in their leisure. The lady up front was running around replenishing the griller and cashing out. There were boxes all over the sales floor from the truck. It was ridiculous to see.

The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because the restrooms were dirty. Grant u it was super busy with everyone driving back home for the holidays, but the 2 ladies working around 7/8 pm were super nice. I also let the Mgr know on my way out how much I was happy. It's really hard being on the road, being away from ur family can really take a toll on u sometimes. It helps that the ppl at the trucks stops r so nice n make u feel appreciated.

The selection of goods is on par with the chain, offering a decent variety.However, the customer service of the majority of employees is terrible. I informed one of them on a coffee product being out and she just mumbled something vaguely similar to a "yes" and continued on her "cleaning" like nothing happened.Another clerk flat-out ignored me and my fiancee as we were ready to pay for our items, acting like she was the only one in the store despite my fiancee and I speaking loud enough to be heard.Drivers, get in, get your stuff and then quickly move on to somewhere else since this is all that this place is good for.

Stopped for coffee. All were empty. The coffee refills were sitting on the counter by each machine. One employee standing behind the counter not doing anything was more concerned with his phone than getting the coffee started.Went next door to the McDonalds, no signs saying they don't accept the Loves card. When we tried to order we were told they don't accept the Loves card.No hot breakfast. No coffee. No creamer. Never again.
