I don’t know who’s idea this remodel was, and I was willing to give it the benefit of the doubt, but this redesign has made this Walmart one of the worst shopping experiences in town.The conveyor belts on the new checkouts are too short to be useful, except for people only getting three items. The new self check out have absolutely nowhere for people to queue, which means anytime it gets even moderately busy in the store there are people crowding the aisles trying to stand in line to check out which creates an unsafe environment and makes it impossible to shop. the cashiers are clearly under trained and struggling to keep up with the volume of customers. I will not be shopping here anymore, I would rather drive across town to go to a different store.

I’ve been shopping here for years the store is looking rough I remember when I was a little kid and sat down in the McDonald’s which is now a subway😔 shopping here is great you can get your favorite foods and snacks I would slightly recommend going.

The pharmacy girl sucks she shouldn’t even be there working. Plus she has a wig on her head and it’s like girl fix your hair. Completely rude and will never get my prescriptions fill here again

Well when I went it was Christmas time was right before Christmas and it was packed out as usual for Walmart and they had not every lane was open but there was one woman who worked self-checkout she was doing a splendid job she was by herself she was kicking butt but I had an issue there and she right to find the situation quickly admirably just freaking great but her I give a five stars to. I really wish I had gotten her name but I didn't want you to think I was trying to date her and whatnot I married you know so anyhow it was a wonderful experience. Like I said especially considering that it was right before Christmas it was great great environment great place great all the way around this time

I'm very disappointed in my level of service. I came to my appointment early for my tires and was told by the managers Camden and Kathryn that if you make an appointment that you can only come at the time you set. They refused service and waited on 2 people after me.

It has went down hill since change in managers. Store looks bad it stinks. The floors are nasty the shelves too. They are empty a lot. You can’t find what you need. The employees are rude and the boys are showing their underwear cause their pants are coming off their hips and they like it like that. They talk on their phones and play on them while working. I guess I’ll shop at another store since this one is unsafe and nasty. I’ll take my money else where it’s not worth it. I find cold food on the shelves and they put it back in the coolers. The cleaning ladies can’t keep it clean fast enough. The depts are not doing their jobs they are everywhere else.

Waiting for the grand opening of this store. A few items were not on the shelves that I normally use, but overall the shopping experience was nice.

I have been on hold for over a half hour today trying to talk to the manager about groceries that were supposed to be delivered last evening. The last time this happened I had to wait 8 days to get my money back. $191!! It's worth the free extra miles a and I'll be using the Walmart on Schillinger for shopping and delivery or cancel my Walmart+ and go elsewhere. This is ridiculous.

This WM location is ALWAYS out of things. It's mid-day on a Friday and the shelves are empty like it's the weekend or game day or something. It's annoying to have so many BASIC things out of stock. You can CLEARLY see the emptiness in the background of the pictures that I took. But, I am excited to try these new products.UPDATE: The shelves are STILL hella empty! They have more ppl pulling orders than working the cash register. Today they only had 3 regular registers open, and all of the lines were ridiculously long. However, I will say that my checkout clerk was AWESOME!UPDATE 2: Things are better at this location. There are still more ppl pulling orders than checking ppl out; but the shelves are not empty all of the time.

Im a regular shopper.It is very sad they do not know how to order for the amount of people that goes to this Walmart. Most of the workers there are great people and very helpful. They don't just tell you where something is. They will stop what they are doing and take you there. I love that👍 but here is some pictures that I took of inside the store today. It's like this every week. Alot of people I talk to today has complained to me. We need something done Walmart. I can't make unnecessary trips and waste my time and gas . Walmart was promoting that it was a 1 stopping place to shop. Not anymore Also bathroom's was nasty in the back. The Unisex bathroom that has a changing table was locked.😢 Not a good day with a 2 yr old I should get a gift card for free food .NOT A HAPPY MOMMIEPLEASE SHARE

Ran in this store the other day while in town and LOVED how stocked it was in most departments and even saw some fall/winter baby/toddler clothing I have yet to see where we live that was ADORABLE

For a very busy store within minutes of a retirement center, a nursing home as well as a large amount of seniors and handicap people, this store only has 4 handicap carts. I have waited up to 30 minutes for a cart. This is ridiculous. Please do something about this!

One of the cleaner Wal-Mart Supercenters that I have ever been in. The aisles are wide and really spacious. The deli and produce looked really good. It made for a more enjoyable experience that I had planned for. However, the flow of traffic in the parking lot is a pain.

Walmart in Semmes Al is going down hill as far as customer service and bring items back that doesn't work, the manager in automotive got very sassy and rude to me about a battery I bought one day and tried to return it the next day because no fault of mine the battery was damaged out of the box My guess would be through the shipping process, either way she told me and I quote " I'm the manager and my decision is what matters and looks like you got yourself a battery wether you want it or not" I tried to explain to her that I couldn't use it broken and I couldn't afford an 80 dollar loss I wasn't asking for my money back even though I had the receipt with me I just wanted to trade it for one that wasn't broken. She was on a power trip I got stuck with the battery like she said I did. Sad

I recently tried to return/exchange a box of diapers I received at my baby shower that no longer fit my baby. The customer service person wouldn't return or exchange the diapers for the size I needed because whoever got them for me ordered them offline and the box was brown instead of colored... Now I'm stuck with a box of diapers that are too small for my baby because someone at my baby shower ordered them offline instead of buying from the store. Why does that even matter? It's the same product as they sell on their shelf. Walmart sucks and their customer service was no help.

I got a lunch plate at the deli because I haven't eaten all day & this is what I got... Almost no chicken & 2 potato wedges. This is just sad, I just wanted lunch & I'm going to finish this & still be hungry. This Never happens at the Airport location. And this isn't the first time this has happened. Don't think I'll be getting another lunch plate here...

Went in for a few items and the store is not kept up, went to get a gallon of milk there was none on the shelf but I could see a whole pallet in the cooler, no customer service… well except for the lady at the front asking customers the “ give them some stars” at the check out. The only thing I didn’t see was a spot for negative stars. I guess the customer will be stocking the shelves before long. We pretty much do everything else for ourself.

The Semmes location is great and pretty friendly most of the time I prefer shopping later in evening hours so I'd say parking is usually pretty good and it's usual pretty safe especially now that Semmes has there very own police dept so that's good too and the store it's self could get a bit more variety in some areas but in general pretty good all around

I had a Walmart gift card & Food stamp card - Cash App card. I'm used to the cashier putting the items in the spin machine. I DId NOT know she had put the first bag there, because she came around & out everything else in the buggy. The items were a beef roast, 2 pack rib eye steaks, mushrooms &: baby carrots. the steaks & roast were to be dinner Sat. Night & Sunday night. When I got home (1 hr from my home in Citronelle) . There was NO roast, No steaks, mushrooms & baby carrots (which I failed to mention when I came back to WalMart). I started calling Customer Service as soon as I realized that there was NO meat. When someone finally answered my call, it was probably close to closing time I told her what happened . She told me they had looked on the camera, I was told that the Cashier put the 1st bag into the spin machine.but all the rest in the buggy.

I am so tired of trying to shop at Walmart in Semmes and the workers doing the online grocery orders are SO RUDE!! They act like you are in their way. Specifically today, were trying to get some food off the shelf and this worker doing an online order starts grabbing stuff off the shelf, reaching in front of me while Im trying to grab stuff of the shelf, as to say "Hey move!" I do my best to stay out of other's way while we are all just trying to shop & go home, but this stuff has gotten out of hand. Not all of them are rude, but alot of them are. Girl today was the one who had hearts braided on the side of her head. No excuse me or anything! Walmart, please teach your employees to have some manners.

I will not do self check out it is not my job!! I have a joban it's not there !! Normally when I go in there is only one or two lines open an there is always a big line an they want you to go to self check out! It's B.S. IM NOT ON THERE PAYROLL I WILL NOT DO THERE JOB! I don't care if I have just one ore two items. I don't want to get off work stop grab a few things an have to work yes work "find my items put them in a cart take them out of the cart scan them put them back in the cart tack them back out load it in my car ! You get the idea. So they need more cashiers!!! Ones that do there job not stand there and watch you do there job an get paid for it!!! It's not there falt it's the company! My opinionSelf check out is good for those who are in a hurry with only a few thingsAn don't mind doing itI WILL NOT !!!
