I had to have my dog, Sniperess, (that I had helped deliver when she was born and had for almost 12 years since then) euthanized recently. Needless to say, it was one of the most difficult things I have ever done in my life. They were so patient with me and compassionate that it really was the absolute best experience it could have been for what it was. Very peaceful and comfortable. They demonstrated the utmost respect and consideration for us. I'm so thankful I chose to go there and would highly recommend to anyone going through similar unfortunate situations. I'm certain if the vet is that kind and considerate during that type of thing then he would be a wonderful choice to have care for pets during all aspects of caring for them.

If I could negative a million times I would. Brought my dog in telling them that she wasn’t right she even collapsed in front of one of the workers only for him to send her home saying that there was nothing wrong with her after spending $200 the next two days later take her back same thing only this time spending $500 to be sent home again three days later she died. Finding out later from a former apprentice that he does that all the time.

I owe both my dogs’ lives to Dr. Gregory. My Lucy girl almost died of pancreatitis. Dr. Gregory got me in immediately and went to work on her. She was near death. By the next day she was able to come home and was much better. I expected a bill of over 1000 for icu overnight plus all the treatments and meds. I don’t remember exactly the cost but I was shocked at how reasonable it was. I think around 500 bucks but maybe not even that much. My Stelly belly had an ominous looking wound on her foot. I had taken her to normal vet and they treated her, but didn’t know what it was and the treatment didn’t work (after 500 bucks). I called Dr. Gregory’s office and had her being checked out 15 minutes later. He gave her 3 shots and an antibiotic pill and the cost was only around 200 bucks. Her foot is now all healed up. I love that he literally does almost everything himself from drawing blood, putting in IVs, administering meds. He’s kind and knows more than any other vet I’ve been to here (with the exception of Dr. Barr who cares for my ferrets.) His office is not fancy and doesn’t try to sell dogfood and other bullcrap at his office. He’s there for the animals, not to sell stuff people don’t really need. Thank you so much Dr. Gregory. You’re a treasure to have in our community.

Dr Gregory came in on a SUNDAY and took care of my sweet JoJo. She had been in active labor, and still had a puppy inside her uterus that was not making any progress to come out. He performed a c-section.. and was very attentive to Jojo and what was going on. I’m very appreciative of Dr Gregory and his staff! I definitely recommend this practice to others! Very informative, and he’s not out to get rich off pet owners.. he really cares about the well being of these animals. Mama and babies are doing great!

My son took his dog there on Friday to have her spayed and she died early Sunday morning!! Called him and talked to him and he said well it had nothing to do with the surgery because it had been 72hrs no sir it was less than 48hrs !! She was a very active healthy dog before the surgery! It had all to do with the surgery they performed on daisy!!! I hung up the phone he called back 30minutes later and said he was sorry and if my son got another puppy he would be glad to help him out with it umm no sir you will never touch another animal in my family ever again!!!

I’d give him -5 stars if allowed in ratings !!!!Horrible experience!! First he has no tact ! He did not care one way or another !!! 800 dollars later my step child’s baby still passed and he did nothing except check her temp and have her on a drip till I showed out ! I honestly believe she would have made it if we’d of taken her ANYWHERE ELSE!! I would NEVER recommend him EVER! (((((ADDED After owner Comment)))), Can you please tell me why I am Deplorable ? is it because I showed up For those kids to support them after you murdered their baby ? is it because Sophie was not in distress Until you gave her a shot ( unknown meds) ?? is it because you all were trying to charge $20 to get her paw prints? Or is it because the only reason why you all gave her oxygen was because I showed my tail? So please explain to me what makes me deplorable because apparently you don’t know the definition!!! Now I stand by my original review!!! You’re Lucky you didn’t get sued! I left a honest review on you for google ! & you really felt like you had to be explaining yourself I suppose ( too funny)) , because you know you did wrong ! Because honestly if you were any type of professional, you would’ve let it slide but since you are definitely guilty, you feel like you had to explain yourself so other people can see it ,that’s hilarious 😆 ! NOW go look up the definition of deplorable . And “Dr. google “ here is actually, a care provider I didn’t get my certificate out of a crackerjack box like apparently some people and the reason why I requested her to be on oxygen was because you were doing nothing but sticking out the monitor of her butt, but she was not in distress until like I said you gave her the shot Because before you gave her the shot, they actually took a video of her trying to get up. The only thing that was even stand to be wrong with her was her leg and by the time the kids mom Left and I got there She declined rapidly after the shot, so watch your work next text carefully

We went in here because my nieces dog got into a bad fight and they acted like they didn’t even care about the dog. We was in there for 2 hours and he just sat there and played on his phone watching videos. We asked to give the dog oxygen and he it took him 30 min to even do that. The other doctor that was there didn’t even say a word to anyone just say there with his hand holding the smog down. Our poor baby didn’t make it after 3 hours of being there. He told us after an hour of being there that he was fixing to leave so we needed to get the dog out 🤬!!!!!!!! I would not recommend taking ur babies to get anything from that hospital. Ur babies deserve better than that!!

He was a very nice and took very good care of Dixie. She was very sick when we brought her in. We're waiting to go pick her up today. I would highly recommend him. We also brought in about 8 kittens the same day that had a upper respiratory infection and he was very reasonable..

I'm not sure what kind of vet they are but someone had told me they were reasonable if you needed to get feral cats fixed. Well, I called. They quoted me $95 plus a $19 rabies shot that's not reasonable to me. I'll stick with driving them to MS and have it done for $50, including the rabies shot at Snips.. No wonder we have a cat problem in mobile. No one can afford to get them fixed here.

My wife took our cat there a couple months back and Dr. Gregory was able to save her leg that we believed would have to be amputated. Outstanding work and extremely affordable. He will get all of our business with all our animals from now on.

I brought my cat up to doctor Dr. Gregory after being hit by a car. My cat was in respiratory distress. Dr. Gregory was very nice. I couldn't afford hundreds of dollars, had lost my job due to Covid-19 and he worked with me on a treatment plan that was within my budget. He cares about the patients and does everything in his abilities to keep costs down for his clients to ensure that the pets are able to get treatment. Having been a veterinarian technician myself for many years, I appreciated Dr. Gregory's readiness to speak with his clients and give updates himself and answer questions rather than passing it off to other staff members. I highly recommend him and his staff! I wouldn't have my sweet Zeus with me if it wasn't for his kindness and willingness to work with me. Thank you Doctor Gregory and all staff members!

I would give negative stars if I could! This is the way he was going to send her home. She ate her stitches over the weekend because they had no e-collar for her; the only one they had would fit a horse! Apparently, no one checked on her over the weekend and said she was mean! This dog wouldn't hurt a fly if you don't like big dogs; maybe you shouldn't be a vet if that's the case. He also said he couldn't stretch her skin to stitch up the whole wound. It's funny that Dr. Owens had no problems stitching her all the way up! Charged over $1100 when Dr. Owens charged only $600! Also, how are you going to let my 87-year-old grandmother write you a personal check and not write it out to your business? Then, charge a $250 bording fee when she was there to heal not because she was being borded! The groomer and vet assistant was very nice and sweet. I will say that! Here's a few pictures of the horrible job Gregory did compared to Dr. Owens. Gregory's are the top two, and the others are Dr. Owens' work and a picture of how amazing she's healed! How does this place have so many stars beyond me? If Dr. Owens was still on call through the night; she wouldn't have gone to Gregory in the first place! Dr. Owens has been her vet since she was 6 weeks old to begin with. I'm glad my mama and mawmaw took her out of there because I couldn't help being on the road since I'm a truck driver. She's doing great now!

I can't say enough good things about this vet I showed up out of no were with a 15 year old male Pomeranian that is absolutely impossible for me to live a day with because I love him so much and he so old and having heart and health issues He's as always we to Theodore vet but I really dont think he would be here if I hadn't walk in here at Semmes in 15 mind and a shot and a script of something new because he was out of 2 of 3 script they gave him which had been feelef 2 times already. And hadn't don't anything to help my pom but Thank God For Semmes Animal hospital I truly truly thank them from the bottom of my heart for helping my little boy Tazz.

I took my 2 cats there to get them fixed and the staff were real sweet and knew what they were doing. I have used this clinic for all my pets and Dr. Gregory is is always there if you need him.if you have pets this is the place to take them. Also their prices are reasonable. For example to get both of my cats fixed one Male and one female and to have their rabies shots only cost me 150.00 that is cheaper than anyone one else would do it for.

Took my pitbull to get his nail clipped and it was his first time getting them done professionally and he did so good even though he had to be held down , the staff did great job . He was done before he knew it. The staff is friendly I highly recommend them . Will be back

The doctor saved our 12 year old lab’s life last year. She had Pyometra and would have died had he not done surgery. Don’t know if other veterinarians would have done this major surgery on such an old dog. Would recommend him to others! Thanks so much!

The staff is great !The vet told me my dog has melanoma cancer, but proceeded to give me 2 types of antibiotics knowing that's not going to kill cancer. Charged me an outrageous amount of money when he knew I didn't need antibiotics. I won't be back.

They were very helpful. I took my roommates dog in because the previous vet wasn't helping her situation. They were knowledgeable, as well as, affordable. Gave plenty of at home care instructions and number to reach incase of any issues. Seemed to really care for the animals over everything. I will be taking my own dog there after how well that visit went.

This doctor has a real heart dor animals! So much so that he extends credit to people without a credit check or no real guarantee of payment, in the event emergency care is needed. He has obviously been burned many times by customers in being left standing with a bill. He doesn't even harass clients with collection calls. All he asks is that you pay as much as you can when you can. Apparently not many people make good on their arrangement because he seems very reluctant to enter into those types of agreements. Wonderful doctor and he needs some community support.The appearance if his clinic is not elite in any way, as I'm sure the majority of his finding goes toward overhead and assistance with animals whom are unable to pay. He likely minimizes his overhead costs so that he can pass those savings on to his clients.He does not recommend a lot of unnecessary services ir treatments and works to keep rhe bill manageable for oet owners.He gets a bad rap for his demeanor and the appearance of his clinic. But ppl should remember that it can be very frustrating providing charity when there is no support involved.While his clinic is very clean, it is simple and dated. He obviously has his priorities in line as his finding goes toward the most important things... The care of the animals.
