It was my favorite Dollar Tree until today! I spend money in this store 3 days a week. It is good money too. I usually go in the morning but went this evening after work. BAD IDEA...I purchased some candy I didn't know cost $3.50 until the cashier, older lady with black hair rung me up. I asked her to take them off, it was about 5 bags. She said, you still have 1 bad and that was fine. I looked at the receipt when I got to my car. I noticed that she took 3 bags off and 2 was still on the receipt. So I gather all my bags and went back into the store. The store was getting busy. I stood to the side and waited patiently until I could talk to the cashier. When I got a chance to talk to her, she had an attitude with me. I did not appreciate that at all. She started to tell me that I had both bags because she can see them. She grabbed my bags, started searching them as if I was lying. I DO NOT CARE IF THE CANDY OR ANYTHING I PURCHASE COST A $1 I PAID FOR IT, I WANT IT. The candy cost $3.50!I will not never shop in the evening again! TERRIBLE, BAD EXPERIENCEThe morning staff is great!

The manager at your Semmes store calls the children in the store Idiots and tells the other customers how she feels about other customers which is very unprofessional. And makes you feel uncomfortable. I am not going back and I am a big spender so try to pick employees that are more people friendly. She is running your customers off and people are not happy with her at all.

I just received very poor service from the cashier just now. He spoke nicely to the customer ahead of me, but when I came up, he didnt say Good morning or even a hello. And he didnt even look at me at all. And after he bagged my stuff, he threw my stuff. I am disappointed.. Get people in there with better attitudes

There was only 1 girl in the whole store working and 10 people in line trying to check out at 1 pm on a Sunday. The people started to get mean and one woman went to the back to look for the manager to complain but she said there was really no one else there. I only had a couple items and felt the danger in the situation for the small girl behind the counter. I didn't like the of danger for the girl and the situation she was in and a business owner should never leave one person in a business just incase people do get outta line. It's for the stores safety and the customers. I will be using other Dollar Trees.

The store was clean ...the cashier was friendly... the shelves were for the most part well stocked ..only a couple of items were out in the isle but still very much passable. Overall a good shopping experience I will be back.

When I shopped here today, the store was a wreck with carts of stock blocking every aisle. Of course there was only one register open as per the usual practices at every Dollar Tree. When I presented coupons(that I have used at other Dollar Tree locations with no problem) with my payment, of course the register wouldn't accept them. In my experiences at other stores, if my coupon matched all the criteria, the cashier or manager would override it. But at some stores, as with this one, you have poorly trained staff who do not know their store's policies and procedures. I was told that Dollar Tree doesn't accept coupons for an item if that item is going to be free which is totally wrong. Their coupon policy even states that they will accept a coupon for over $1 but you will not get the overage, the item will just be free. It's really aggravating to shop at a place where the staff isn't trained correctly.

Great value for some of their stock. Some name brand shampoos, conditioners, as well as deodorants. My wife lives in this their stores. Like how can you spend $60 a week in there? I have no clue but my woman does it lol.

I visited this store about 810 this morning. There I think was one employee she was very mannerable and professional finding the customers and informing us just let her know we were ready. She was on. Top of things and the store was very clean

I will never go back to this store. An employee was harrassing my 9 year old daughter. When I confronted him, he started yelling at me. I told him that I would talk to his manager about this, he responded with "Boom! I am the manager!" Never again. Families with children, stay FAR away from this store! This was the Semmes, AL store.

Pharmacy staff was really nice and got my sons RX filled fast. Store was really nice and super clean. In all great experience, would definitely recommend it to others.

That the night manager, Ms Wendy is a very nice and helpful person. Even considering im disabled, she still helped me with my shopping. Took extra lengths to do this as well.

Clean place, friendly attitude, but apparently they are short on bags. My wife bought 4 glasses and they didn't have enough bags to you let her wrap them individually.

They need to change the NAME since they raised the price 1.25$ not 1.00$ anymore but it's still cheaper than anywhere else !!!! I buy lots of stuff there

Our dollar tree has went way down in the last year. I now will drive by our store to go to a store who has stuff stocked and a clean store with happy employees.

The employees or the manager don’t know how to run the cash register it’s sad they act like u can’t pay went down the streeet to the other dollar store guess what my card worked there next time try and see what’s wrong with your register instead of acting like someone can’t pay

They only had one cashier and took their time calling a cashier up to check people out. It's like this all the time at dollar tree. The line was going down the line.
