They sell groceries/ snacks, alcohol, tobacco, electronics, domestics, medicine, ice, toiletries, and seasonal items. And they're located everywhere! Keeps me out of Wal Mart!

My biggest complaint is having to walk through a cloud of smoke to enter the store. I shop here quite often and the ladies are always friendly and courteous but I'm not a smoker and I hate having to walk through it to enter. It's not like that all the time but it's enough to be an issue. I have driven right by when I see them outside but this location is very convenient for me.

The store is OK but the store coupons don't work half the times. The employees are outside smoking about 75% of the times I goto this store. I have cancer and I shouldn't have to walk thru their smoke to go into the store. I just called to see if they are back opened from being remodeled, and they just picked the phone up and hung up on me. They could atleast picked up and said, sorry we are still closed.

So thankful to have a dollar general so close. Keeps me from having to fight getting into the big box stores. I am able to go there and get for to make a whole meal or just snacks. I love the dollar isle and it's just great to have a little bit of everything. If you can't tell.. I really appreciate my dollar general store!! Oh and the employees are nice and helpful too!!

They finally opened our favorite local store after a big snake problem. They are a great staff and do their jobs pretty well. Of course there are some folks that are just lazy or dumb in every bunch but we teach them really fast or they dont stay long.

The staff is nice and helpful. They always seem understaffed, though. There are always stock carts in the isles waiting to be put away. The cashiers are frequently running back and forth, trying to clean and stock and wait on customers. The cashiers just seem overworked.

Was accused of shoplifting a drink while sitting in car after leaving store. They wanted my Id. Sales associates refused to call police or review surveillance. The accuser refused to even speak to me. Never felt so disrespected in my life.

Depends on which store you go. Now Wilmer as a guy with a bad attitude young man he don't respect his elders okay the other stores are very nice but they hardly have any white chocolate that's by Starbucks but usually has great prices good place to go

The young man working tonight was great. He was the only cashiervand customers were non stop. Did not see any other employees. The people last sunday not good. The guy was siiting out front on his phone smoking like he was at the beach. Not professional. Sunday afternoon around 4pm. Not sure if the bathroom was working today We have been told the last 5 weeks its not working noone has been able to fix it and they dont have anywhere to go to the bathroom either..I certainly do not believe that. The sidewalk needs to be power washed and the trash that has been piled up around the icemachine cleaned up. The chair and the flowerpot used by employees for their smoke breaks needs to be moved to the side of the building not in front of the store.. I stope by this particular store 3-4 times a week. I will be hapoy to keep you updatec

I love all dollar stores. Except the one in semmes Al. It's off of Lott Rd and Mccary Rd. The two girls at this store a week ago or so tried to call me out as shop lifting, and said we have u on camera I said no ma'am why would I be purchasing all this stuff and stealing a 1$ pack of hair ties? Well I ask her to show me the video and to call the cops , but they would not do it. They just kept saying that I stole and I was banned from there store. They had accused the wrong one because I told them I did not steal these and gave them proof after I left I sent my friend back in to tell them about her purchasing them from another DG in the area, and they was absolutely rude to her as well, and said same thing to her we have her on camera and she said well if that's so true call the law and let's see this video. She said because I Know I purchased these from another store in the area. So they just kept on about I had stole from them and I was just banned, but why did you hand me back the hair ties that you reached in my purse and grabbed out after saying at first I had stolen a mirror I pulled it out and that's when the little key holder or what ever she was said well what are these that's when I explained the hair ties. Anyway they ended up looking like two stupid employees that was in the wrong for there actions after all the lies and stuff they were doing in front of several customers backed up behind me in line. I really did not appreciate them doing this to me why would I purchased 20$ or so in merchandise and steal a 1$ pack of hair ties? So this is why I'm rating this chain so poorly so y'all at the other stores blame these two employees at this one dollar store for there ugly actions. I hope they don't do this to any of there customers again if so I pray they lose there job. Because it's not cool to lie and then know you lying and then try and make thereselves Look good because they seen how wrong they were , but was to prideful to say they were in the wrong and just apologize. So that's why I'm rating the DG so poorly because of this incident. Just know you cannot falsely accuse people of stealing from something or somewhere when they're not...then keep up a lie because you can not say you was wrong and then banned me so they didn't have to see me again because they were I'm sure they were embarrassed of their actions which they should have been ashamed of. That's just poor customer service to me...

The one I went to on Moffett and Firetower is awful. Packed all the time with boxes or junk everywhere. No one at register often because they have to work in other areas too. They can't have the bell anymore to let them know when a customer is there and when I went recently two employees were arguing out loud with each other. Very inappropriate with customers there. I didnt know at first that they were employees because no one had a uniform on.

Employees are always friendly and helpful, even when your children break things. Only issue is poor lighting in the middle and back of the store and merchandise is not very tidy.

This is the WORST Dollar General in Mobile county. I live a few miles away and drive past it five miles to shop at another Dollar General. The staff is rude. Shelves are bare and junkie, store is dirty, bathroom has been broken for six months (when I stopped shopping there), parking lot is filthy and thuggish.Do NOT shop there!!!

Nice employees. I usually have to weave in and out of inventory left out on the floor though and sometimes that's complicated with a baby in my buggy that likes to grab everything in arms reach.

I was not as happy this time they had their beer for 895 but it rang up at 12:18 and she would not honor the sale price I told her she should take the signs down that it's false advertisement and she said she would not do that either I don't know if it was just the person I was dealing with but there are so many other Dollar Generals were the people are nicer and will work with you

Just started keeping up with the shortage when they give change in 2 1/2 months it totals 9.93 once they close draw seems to be act of congress or till someone pay with cash so either wait till doomsday or leave. Pitiful place store #15411

Story was dirty and cashiers were all outside smoking when I needed to be checked out. Had I had ice cream on my crazy.
