Wait time was longer on Monday than previous trips but reasonable. Didn't like that no one could tell me what I was being charged for or what procedure was being performed. Told to ask the doctor they just perform tests shown on the sheet, Hmmm! They need more brands or a better selection of frames too choose from.Doctor does a thorough exam and answers questions when asked. Receptionists need to be more attentive to clients rather than personal cellphone; had to remind her to print receipt after helping previous client. Descent service for a small town of median income.

I called and scheduled an appointment for my 2 year old son because he is on the dupixent shot. Side effects from this medication can be blurry vision, dry eyes, eye pain, etc. So when he started rubbing his eyes a few days ago, I wanted to get them checked. I asked the lady at the front desk, was this a pediatric center and she said they have a pediatric doctor that he could see. The doctor we saw today couldn't have been a pediatric one. He was rude as hell. He walked in the room abruptly, and didn't even checked my son's eyes thoroughly. He just kept saying he think they okay and scheduled for him to come back in a year. Yeah, he won't be back. Parents, if you are looking for a place that is small kids friendly, then please keep looking. We don't stay in Selma, so this was a wasted hour trip.

Becky and Jada are the best opticians in Selma. They spent time with my children and made sure that they were comfortable with the glasses they needed. I greatly appreciate the time and effort given. #TEAMJBROCKS

My 7yr old son had an appointment on 10/17/23. We arrived at 10:15. his appointment time was 10:30. I was called to fill out his paperwork and it took about 25mins after that to be called to the back. Went to the back then waited another 20mins only to get called by the dr. He looked in my son eyes and said go get you some glasses up front and that was it. He's a nice dr. But sometimes I think he just give you glasses just to give them to you. But overall the wait time was way better than all my other visits.

Rudest staff I've ever experienced in my entire life. They get things wrong on your chart, want to argue when you try to correct them and half the office are immature kids who are incompetent. Definitely won't be going back to this place. Been going here 20 years or so and it's gone WAY downhill lately. If i could give this place a 0 I wouldDon't forget the fact they're handing out EXPIRED contacts and telling patients its fine. He got my prescription wrong on more than 1 occasion since he just rushes everyone in and out. Check your stuff here. They have lost my respect 100%.

Service has been horrible. I don’t know what’s changed I’ve never had trouble ordering contacts out of the 3 years or longer I’ve been going to this office. But for the past month I have tried to order contacts I get told the same thing every time we only have one person in this department and with a customer she will call you back. Never received a call back and have called the past 2 weeks always same answer. Very bad customer service on that part shows that they don’t appreciate business and now I’m gonna spend my money elsewhere. I understand that it’s probably hard for one person but as a MANAGER either hire more people or take the initiative to help the CUSTOMER. Then I talk to the manager and pretty much seems to get a attitude to say we have been busy and this and that. Not say I’m sorry I understand your frustration or anything. For the people that depend on contacts know how important it is to get some ordered when we are running low because takes a week or so to come in. I guess they make anyone a manager might need to take some management classes to understand the importance of the customer and how to look at it from their view instead of just say we been busy we only have one worker. I called at 8:30 this morning and gave my info and was told to receive a call back never heard anything so I called back at 3:30 because I am in need of contacts that bad from the past weeks of failed attempts and get told the same thing with a customer with have to call you back there is no excuse for that whatsoever. So in 7 hours this person has been with a customer non stop to not have 2 minutes to call me to place a order. I don’t believe that and I’m already in the computer with all my information on file. I normally don’t complain about things and let it go but seeing how they feel about the customer I wanted to leave this review. And since they stay so busy for weeks straight and never can get in touch with them I’m gonna help them out by losing a customer.

The service is not good. They ALWAYS overbook. My last appointment, which was yesterday, was scheduled for 10:00am. I didn’t get called until about 11:45. That’s too long to wait, especially when you have an appointment. They called people to the back that came in after me. This is the case EVERY TIME I go.

Horrible service!! We requested an emergency appointment for my daughter who is legally blind, in mid December for lost glasses. I was given an appt for Jan 9th, now she has to miss her first two weeks back at school because she will be waiting for her glasses to come.

Front desk staff was rude and impersonal. The girl that called me back kept calling me the wrong name even after I corrected her. The doctor never even introduced himself. He thought I was a surgery patient of his and starts asking me questions out of another patients chart and even put drops in my eyes that were meant for another patient. No apologies for the mixup. I overhear their discussion about my contacts (whether or not to charge me for the complimentary first pair) so now I find out I was overcharged for my contact exam by $30.. the retail section wasnt any better for glasses.. I was told " the glasses are on the wall and the prices are on the side if that matters" REALLY? I am treated better personally when I take my dog to the vet. At least my vet recognizes my face and looks me in the eye. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! I WILL NEVER RETURN and personally don't even trust they got my prescriptions correct. Needless to say I left with my prescriptions only. I'll spend my money where it's appreciated.

Doctor song was patient and kind I suffer from grave disease and I don't like no one like putting things in my eyes and stuff my eye was infected cuz my dog lick my eyes but I thought that my eyes would burn because I don't like wake me up in my eyes but I paid $50 for my appointment and all he was kind and patient and he kind of made me love to hear cuz I was like you don't have a fear of you know do you know my eyes popping out because when you have Graves disease is if a fibroid disorder he was considerate and kind so I'm about to get me some nice brand new glasses feel like a buck 87 I recommend Islam Eye Center

I was very pleased at how quick the exam was. Just waiting for my glasses to come in now.
