Service was awful, and there were only 2 other tables occupied. One meal was delivered about 10 minutes after the first with no explanation. The first meal was delivered without flatware. Eggs were not done as ordered on either meal. The eggs were ordered over easy on the photo with the bacon on the plate. No refills were given for coffee, even with a price of over $3 for a cup. I put my empty cup and empty water glass on the table's edge, but they both stayed empty. Couldn't even get our check until we walked up to the register. Sad. Mr. Waffle will get our business from here on out. HH just kept getting worse each visit.

We loved our breakfast! Strawberry pancakes were delicious and the eggs were cooked just right. Waitress was friendly and knew exactly what we needed before we asked. We will be back!

A surprisingly pleasant experience! Great customer service, which was very refreshing and a great change of pace from our usual Selma restaurant experiences. Food was good and all employees seemed friendly and helpful! Prices weren't bad. We look forward to returning and maybe trying the other meals (other than breakfast)!(:Update: Still great! We met Roosevelt this time and he was so nice and friendly! Our waiter and the other staff members were also very nice! The food was also great and we all enjoyed it! 😄

July 2nd,2022. This location recently opened back in June 2022.Pros:Very good foodCons:Inexperienced and short staff.Due to this the customer service is less to your favor and long wait times. I waited over an hour for my takeout. My order was incomplete after receiving it and took another 5-10 mins to add the missing items. Most of the seated customers in attendance waited even longer. My food was wonderful. Me and my sisters go every Saturday or Sunday for a sister breakfast. We enjoy ourselves, eating and talking. if it wasn’t good, I promise you I will not be going there Stop eating those $5.99 meals and get you a real meal if everyone come in and order the 599 what do you think it gonna take longer so try A steak breakfast sometime, or try something that’s not on sale treat yourself, you deserve it be blessed and happy New Year’s

I arrived at Huddle House at 9:25. It’s 9:52 and finally someone came to the table for our drink order. It took ten minutes standing in front just to get a table. 2 groups walked out because of the service. They are severely under staffed, there’s no team work…… WHERE IS THE MANAGER????? I haven’t had the food yet to add to the review. Breakfast is pretty hard to mess up. If you’re looking for a job, I’m sure they will hire you on the spot. They need a busboy because there was 4 dirty tables that needed to be cleaned. They need at least 2 other servers and they need a manager.It’s 10:20 and we haven’t gotten our food yet and there’s on 3 other tables occupied in the place. The server never came back to the table and my coffee cup is empty.CAN I GET A REFILL PLEASE??I took a star away because apparently, you can mess up breakfast. Those were suppose to be over medium eggs. On top of that, the eggs came to the table 10 minutes after the rest of the food.Here’s the caviar….. the general manager was cooking.WE WILL NOT COME BY BACK. I TOLD THEM WE SHOULD HAVE GONE TO THE WAFFLE HOUSE.People, we’re in Selma, not Montgomery. The selection for breakfast is real slim.

Considering all of the bad reviews, we started not to eat here. However, we wanted to support one of the newest businesses in town so we waited past the initial mad rush of a new or remodeled restaurant here in Selma. We arrived at the same time as 6 other parties, two of which contained 4 or more. The waitresses did a great job of seating us in the order of arrival. All of employees seemed very friendly.Our waitress was great. She had a great grasp of customer service and checked on us just enough. Like someone else said earlier that is refreshing. It took 20-30 minutes after we ordered for the good to finally arrive at the table. The food was hot and tasted great.I think the waitresses did well considering this is most of they're 1st job serving food. Besides the wait for the food, our experience was great. ✨️Parking: Ample parking.

Complete and utter disappointment here. The food was indeed cooked and served fresh, however it STILL somehow managed to be bland and uninteresting. The service was equally uninspired, once our orders were taken the waitress then disappeared into the crowd, appearing only in passing, never to return at all.That being said, I had to eye down a bottle of ketchup and get it myself, and forget about getting a refill on my water, which was a cup of ice with a very small side of water in it🙄. But all this aside, it was the portions of food that hit me. A VERY small bowl of grits, equally small burnt strips of bacon, and surprisingly decent patties of turkey sausage with a tiny handful of scrambled eggs.And ALL of this for the wonderful price of...$29.85! Thirty bucks for a table of two when it was the equivalent of a Hardee's breakfast platter, with Hardee's giving MORE. I try and support my hometown businesses, but the visit was so underwhelming and over priced that I will be passing on future visits moving forward. 👎

Today I visited the huddle house in Selma Alabama, and I would like to say that my food was absolutely delicious. However, I did have an absolute horrible experience with the waitress one particular whose name was jennifer who had the butterfly tattoo on left her left arm was very rude. my waitress was busy and I asked her if she could provide me with some salt and pepper. Unfortunately, she screamed to my waitress that your table needs salt and pepper as I said and continue to eat my food and pepper was not provided to me, and there was a lot of unprofessionalism that was going on doing business hours jennifer took it upon her time to go over to another table to talk about her fellow employees, and to say how messy her other colleagues were and she recommended for her not to apply for a job working here also the waitress that was assigned to our table only came to take our orders and once our food was delivered, she never came back to check on us. I would like to say to you all that it will be in your best interest if you at least hire people who are wanting to give excellent customer service to strengthen your business. Also, you may want to look into replacing some of the negative Nancy that you have on board. It will probably help promote a healthy working environment where communication needs to be the center of focus because clearly this staff lacks it.

I went in for breakfast. Immediately I was greeted and asked was I dining in. I was able to choose what table I wanted to sit at that was available. The waitress came and took my order and brought my drink back. My food was delivered timely. I ordered sausage, bacon, eggs, grits, hashbrowns, and toast. Everything was delicious and everyone was on point. Thanks for a good dining experience.

I ate at Huddle House for the first time in a very, very long time. The table had salt or sugar all over it (I didn't taste to confirm), the diet Mtn. Dew tasted nasty, and the employees were loudly kvetching to their manager about an employee named China who is trying to act like their manager when he's not there.I will definitely not go back. Ever.

The server Kimberly was very nice and gave amazing service making sure we were taken care of. The cook Jacob cooked my food perfect. This is the first huddle house I have been to that the bacon was cooked perfect. Jacob even brought a plate of food out while the server was helping another table. And Roosevelt even came out to ask us how everything was and it made this a very nice meal

We were the only 2 in there, the food was good (other than the brown apples in my fruit bowl), but service wasn't. After our food was served, our waiter never came back to see if everything was OK or if we needed a refill, which we did. Even after we were through, we had to ask for our ticket. The waiter that waited on us was so feminine acting and was on his phone almost the entire time we were there. This is the second time we ate there, the first time was when they just opened, so they were very busy. The second time, there was no excuse for poor service, it was just 2 of us there. We won't be eating there again!

This is by far the BEST Huddle House I have ever eaten in. Jacob cooked my over easy egg to perfection. Roosevelt checked in on us to ensure everything was good. Kimberly met us at the door and provided excellent service.Don’t let your previous Huddle House experiences stop you from trying this place. I will be back.

I came in with my family the server's name was Jennifer she was very friendly got our food to the table on time and she kept coming back to the table to make sure everything was good the cook that day was named Fred he did an awesome job on cooking our food so I give huddle House of Selma five stars shout out to Mr Roosevelt Johnson and Miss China for having an A1 staff I will be back
