Came for an interview with the assistant General manager named Shelby Tobias, I guess I wasn't up to standards so she told her boss, Laurie, they gave me a call back and made some snarky comments about me saying over the phone.I'm sorry, this is the wrong hotel, it was mwant for the Hampton Inn located in Selma, CA. Please ignore this review or owner please delete this review.

The property was under an extensive remodel and I had no indication when reserving a room. There was no concession made at all, even though the whole entryway was crowded with construction materials, dirty and smelled of cigarette smoke. In fact, the manager was very dismissive of my concerns when I brought them up. To make things worse, my wash cloth was loaded with pubic hairs and I didn’t realize it until after my shower! Disgusting! And when I brought it up to management during checkout there was still no concession made.Rooms: Inspect your linens!Nearby activities: No nearby activitiesSafety: Unsafe environment due to construction materials during an extensive renovation.Walkability: Not walkable

The rooms were clean and the staff were very kind and accommodating from check in, to breakfast to housekeeping. However, the tub was dingy with old markings beyond housekeeping responsibilities and furnishings/carpet were drab. My room smelled like a sweet perfume on arrival that was covering over the smell of smoke, The men around/outside my room were carrying on loud conversations that I could hear after 10pm. I also smelled cigarette smoke late in the evenings around the same time that I could hear their conversations.

So far stay is one of worst I've had at a Hilton property. Front desk overnight staff was very helpful. Room was meh. Pull out sofa sleeper back andmattress was absolutely disgusting with visible brown stains on the mattress and other stains on the sofa itself I don't want to identify. . No bedding was in closet for it either. Cleanliness was very lacking. Made the mistake of walking barefoot. Carpet and tiles were all sticky. Front desk staff was understanding and helpful. They get 5 star.

Clean decent rooms but not enough towels in bathroom for amount of people in room. When we asked for extra stuff it was given with no problems however. The toilet didn't flush well... One has to jiggle the handle to get the water going. Also, the elevator broke on our check out day. On that morning, a really loud someone stormed into our room at 8a.m and was surprised that there were people sleeping in there. We later found out it was housekeeping. We doubted it because nobody yelled housekeeping before walking in, but they had an entry card and we were told that they thought there was no one in the room. There should be better coordination and communication between housekeeping and management/reception as to what rooms are occupied. Management did their best to make up for the mistake however. Overall the rooms are comfortable.

I regularly stay at Hilton hotels and never expected to teeter between 3 and 4 stars for a Hampton Inn. The staff members we encountered were friendly and did their jobs well, but housekeeping never came to clean our room and change out the towels, a necessity if you're traveling with a guy who drops his towel on the floor like you're supposed to at a hotel so they know to replace the towels.Our room door didn't close all the way unless you pulled or pushed it all the way closed. The tub faucet didn't turn off all the way unless you played with it long enough to find the one spot where it turned all the way off, several degrees off from where it's supposed to be. There were several other places where the hotel was noticeably not as well maintained as your usual Hampton.That said, we regularly travel to the Selma area and will definitely stay here again, because it's the best hotel near our destination.

Long way from the normally expected Hampton Inn quality. The room was in poor repair with a desk chair that Goodwill would trash and the desk leg was broken.The bathroom had what I didn't want to see when I flipped the light switch in the morning (I was not alone).It also had mold and mildew on the commode tank.It was nothing like any Hilton Hotel I have ever stayed in before.It established a new low.If they (HH) are reading this, I took pictures I will share but not here.

The rooms were spotless. The staff was exceptionally helpful. The management went well out of their way to make our stays comfortable and virus free. Even the remote for the TV was sanitized. On top of that they served a Covid safe excellent breakfast. For the SELMA area, the location was ideal, away from the hustle and bustle and close enough to be convenient for the local attractions.

We make a point of staying here every time we pass through. The rooms are always clean, plenty of well lit parking, and the breakfast is delicious. My son likes to ride the elevator and (unfortunately) dial the front desk as soon as we arrive. One of these days we'll catch him before they pick up, but they're always gracious about it. Thanks for great service and a good night's rest.

I was there one night for a business meeting. The woman at the front during check in was wonderful. The room and bathroom were clean. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were soft - I didn't want to get out of my blqnket cocoon in the morning. The breakfast was your standard choices, but fresh and wasn't stale. Would stay there again.

Super nice room. Receptionist was super friendly. Stan the manager was super friendly as well. Stan was in the Marines so he has my respect!! Thank you again for your service to our country. Some problem caused the hotel to have very limited hot water this morning. Maybe they will get that fixed.

I arrived at this property at around 9pm and went through the online check-in process which provides you with a digital key. Upon entering the room noticed the bathroom light was out. So I promptly went down to the front desk to have someone take a look at the room. Since, the light had been out in the bathroom I didn't realize that the tub was also missing the nob after the person had already changed the light fixture. Clearly this room should've never been available to add further insult the front desk clerk decided to change the rate and deducted a measly $24 from the bill for the inconvenience. Wow, I've never been to a Hampton Inn property in this type of condition and will never be back to this location. This location alone has sullied the Hilton brand.

Worst experience ever! There is a check in time for a reason - if not we should all stay late with no penalties! I arrived right at 3:00pm after a long drive to the hotel with my registration made and confirmed a month ago. At check in they told me the room was not ready yet! They told me to just wait. I pressed them for a time frame. Later I spoke to the shady manager who still didnt care. Check in time is check in time. No offer to move the room or make me happy which by the way is written all over their front desk! I will never stay at another Hampton!

I booked our room through Expedia and had 2 Queen beds confirmed several days in advance. We have 2 couples traveling together. We arrived and they only had a king size bed room available. They did offer 2 roll away cots. The girl at the counter called the manager (Stan) and asked if she could give us 2 king rooms and he refused. They blamed me for using Expedia and told me this happens all the time. I’m now sitting in my truck searching for another place to stay and striking out. Very frustrating.

When I stayed here trying to avoid the storm in Corpus the staff was extremely kind and accommodating. In particular I'd like to say Amy Campbell and Maryann were the highlights of my stay here! They're showing of hospitality was top notch and truly made me feel welcome. Thanks to them I will be returning to this location any time I have the chance and would highly recommend others do the same!

If you want to stay anywhere in Selma, stay here. I stayed here with my sister, we we're visiting family. The hotel was very quiet and clean. The lobby had a lot of space. The room was amazingly clean and spacious. There was a desk to pull out and a curtain to separate the beds from the sofa, which allowed me to do some reading while my nephew's watched TV. I would stay here again.

Rooms were not cleaned. We had to clean the sink, countertop, and shower ourselves. The hotel smelled bad and uncleaned. When I turned the heater on a aweful smell came from it. It smelled like dirty wet molding gym socks times ten. I had to spray colon in the return grill to kill the nasty smell. I would have tried to change rooms but after meeting the general manager earlier you would know why I didn't want the hassle. He was rude and disrespectful. Needless to say he was like that with other guests (on the phone and in person). Hampton should fire him. Then the last morning of our stay housekeeping opened the door and started to enter the room. She opened the door and bumped into my wife as she was entering the bathroom to shower (she was almost undressed). The lady said she was told to collect the linens but we were not finished using them. At checkout I spoke to the staff member who checked us out and he said he would have the manager call me about 3pm that day so he could discount or refund the price of our rooms. HE HAS NOT CALLED but with his lack of caring about his guest I'm not surprised. DO NOT EVER STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not the best Hampton I've stayed at but for a small town it definitelywasnt the worst. The room was clean, except for a washcloth lying on the floor next to the toilet. The coffee maker was on the counter next to the toilet which was pretty gross place to put it. Breakfast was average, my husband loved the waffle area. The breakfast area was filthy though... I think it was mainly due to the laziness of the guests leaving their trash etc everywhere on the counters instead of tossing it into the many receptacles.

Checked in at about 6 pm the hostess at front desk was lazy and didn't even bother coming out of her room in the back until I said I wanted a room. I figured she must have been tired but she persisted in her laziness throughout the night and it was annoying. In the morning the cleaning crew was rude and unfriendly. Poor Internet unless u buy the upgrade. Breakfast was decent and rooms were clean. Will not be staying at another hampton.

Give it a miss. Room 306. Smell like yearn. TV is shot. Lamp doesn't work on desk. Vending machine on our floor didn't work.Sofa is in need of a good shampoo too.This is more of a low end Choice Hotel chain room. Not $120 a night room.Not Hampton Quality.

Hampton Inn was great! They allowed us to use the back of the dining room for my birthday party. I recommend this location. Staff is friendly and professional. Rooms are spotless.
